...and the saga continues...
Yes, I am still having issues with the @!*&%$@!%^*)*^&##$@#@ insurance company. I was on the phone with my insurance for about a half hour and the spent another 40 minutes at my GP's office while they were on the phone with the PT and the insurance. And guess what? It is still not resolved. The ins co is telling me several different things in addition to telling the GP something different. The PT office says something different too. And I have no clue if I actually have the PT sessions covered. This is insane. I am seriously considering just canceling the PT and doing the exercises that he gave me at home. I know that will be a big mistake in the long run. Lyme attacks weak joints/tissue and also likes to accumulate in scar tissue. (I know when I am having a flare because my lumpectomy scar gets very tender.) Mt right ankle is a weak link even well before the cyst formed. But still, this is so :frusty:
I am supposed to the PT office to check and see if they have any additional info from the ins co but since they have been telling me that the GP needs to do the Prior Auth and the GP and ins co are saying no they don't I am not sure how far I am going to get. To add into that craziness, the GP has nothing to do with my ankle- I see a podiatrist for that! Gahhh!!!!!

I having nothing special happening today, the two things that I wanted to do -- yard work and steam cleaning the carpets-- are out of the question because it is pouring rain. It is supposed to be sunny later on today but that doesn't help me. I guess it is time to clean Gary's bathroom, and maybe the stairs. That never makes a lot of sense to do since Scott manages to track mud inside even when he takes his boots off as soon as he walks in.
He is like a mechanic-- no matter how much they wash their hands there is always a bit of grease. With Scott it is no matter how much he cleans his boots, he always trails in with a bit of mud and leaves. Picture Pigpen with a forest swirling around him :D

So that is my life right now. Hoping that your is brighter in all ways than mine.

Hugs!!!

Jean- sorry to hear that it rained by you, we are having downpours right now. But it is supposed to get better for the weekend. Your DH's birthday sounds like it was a very pleasant one. Thanks for understanding the insurance nonsense. Even the receptionist at the GPs office was rolling her eyes at me in frustration when she was talking to the ins co. and she deals with that all of the time.
I will have to check out Joanne's challenge, they are always a lot of fun.

Trudy- yay for rain!! (for you at least, quite done with it here). That would be nice if it rains a lot now and then you can have loads of outdoor fun with the kids. How many days until they come?
Great news about the resin and good luck with the sale!
Hope that the pool wasn't too cold. The PT room was freezing when I was there and I guess that is the norm. My poor corpse feet...

Nancy- *huge sigh of relief* So glad to hear that DH's eye was a relatively minor issue. How long will the recovery for it be?
That is a very powerful message from the Islander's goalie. It is good when they can be open with issues. There is a politician that was running for Gov or Senate two years ago, Jason Kander, and he dropped out b/c of PTSD. He is now talking about it and his treatment for it. He is a vet and it is so important for high profile people to talk about it so others don't feel alone.
My mom is feeling much better already. I think that now that she isn't focusing so completely on the knee pain, she is feeling less of it.
If you haven't read Nora Roberts, you should-- I have been reading her for decades. They do get repetitive, especially the trilogies, but they are good reads.

Kay- you have been scrapping so much! How many designers do you CT for? Those pounds creep up fast and ITA, better to get them off when there are fewer of them. I have put on 10 pounds this past year which is a lot for me and not being able to walk the dogs for so long has not helped.
I am so sorry to hear that your friend's ex-DH passed away.

Felis- no worries about complaining. If they haven't kicked me out of here because of my complaining, they won't do it to you LOL Your posts are perfect the way they are. Don't let us change how you write and communicate. I like your stories and descriptions.
It must feel strange to be on the wrong side of a war like WWII. Even as the US "lost" the Vietnam War, we tend to make ourselves the victors anyway and in all things. American Exceptionalism and all that. :/
I wish I could recommend something frivolous to watch. We mostly watch things on Netflix or Hulu. We loved Brooklyn 99, Parks and Rec, and 30 Rock if you get any of those.

Better get some breakfast and put warmer socks on. xoxo

Well, a quick in and out this morning. We are overcast with smoky hazy skies from a big fire in Arizona. Suppose to blow out by tomorrow but anyone with breathing problems are being warned to stay inside. It is that time of year when forest fires pop up all over

Chris, I do CT work for 4 designers and 2 sites. A previous designer who is back to designing last month ask me to work with her again. It is enough to keep me busy. LOL
Sorry you are still getting the run around over the PT authorization.

I just looked and I had the wrong name for Dee Henderson's book...the correct name "Danger in the Shadows". I am now re-reading the Troubleshooter series by Suzanne Brockimann. Just finished "The Defiant Hero" and started "Over The Edge".

BBL... need to shower and get dressed.

Morning ladies... I have started my morning facetiming with Heather and Hunter, but poor Hunter is a very grumpy little boy today! He is teething and he is one clingy whiny baby! Poor Heather having to deal with that! So yesterday was busy and I went to the gallery and got my cheque for my sales from there. Hooray it is nice to recoup some $ from all the paint supplies LOL. Today I will finally finish off my neighbors painting and get paid for that one also. Then I really need to finish the turtle off on my other painting and get those photos posted here for you ladies to see. It is another lovely sunny day, so maybe I will get outside to do some weeding. Hopefully I will feel inspired to do a page today also.
So for right now I will sign off here and get back to doing personals in a bit. I really need to jump into the shower and get dressed. CYL!!

Happy Summer solstice, lOvelies!
We celebrate it with typical summer day. I love my family. They are crazy, but at the positive funny meaning of this word, as crazy party! So let me tell you some things about us.
I'm going in our side yard, (this one with the brick fence, in which can be seen only from my neighbor's 2nd floor) and found my mom to weed the geranium in new swimsuit. I was like umm, 'What are you doing?' and she answer me with another question: 'How do you think is that looks like swim top?!' Me:I don't know?! It could be, or it is just conservative type underwear. ( You knows these swimsuit style 60's, that was fashionable previous summer). Is that material suitable for water use?! Mom: 'I'm wondering the same. Pants have the second layer, but the bra not. I bought it for swimsuit, so I'm give it chance.' Me:
(And yes it was exactly so hot at the day time, but then rained whole night. )
Then she made me photo kissing Biggy for the Summer, and when later I get it to transfer it, it's just horrible!!! My hair sucks and my bra is peeks, I cry 'Mom, don't you see it's terrible', but she say 'You are my child and always looks pretty to me'. Me very angry my bra is visible, she with face of guilty child: 'You saw me that I don't wear my glasses', OK you're right my fault!
Oh and last, are you watched this trailer of "The Secret Life of Pets 2" https://youtu.be/fkr_djVWStU this cat at 0:35 min is exactly 1:1 with my Hunter :D :D ;D .

Aww Chris, don't dare to cancel the PT, this will be huge mistake in long distance! You should think in perspective! They make the system at this way exactly to discourage people! Here is the same, with the option to pay and save headache, but this isn't fair! It must be nice everyone to have different bathroom, even when that mean more cleaning. We have only one and morning are madness, the order for showering is challenging. Thank you for the nice words, but you not complaining, just share experience about real problems, till I'm repeating the same 'records' and I'm sorry, but I'm just stuck in the pattern.

Kay, so bad and sad about the wildfires! Stay inside, and don't risk with your throat problems! Your CT work is impressive! Nice book list. I start an Irish author, but so fare hate it. I'm from conservative family and even past few years try to be more open minded this book have too disgusting descriptions of streptise. It's disappointing because the annotation was intrigued and promises different thing.

Trudy, oh poor Hunter, definitely difficult stage! Have fun with your art!

Jean, I just love your layout about your hubby birthday! He really looks like band guy, with his ring and confident smile and your brushes details are marvelous!

Nancy !

Have a lovely weekend, girls! Enjoy your summer!!! :plane::fish2:

Oh something fun from Instagram, see how regular lady show her summer and also how top model do it:

These photos really do not do it justice as the colours are so much more vibrant than they are in these pictures!! It is so shiny too :thumb: I hope she loves it, if not then I will keep it for myself and hang it in my living room lol.

Chris - Sorry that you are having to deal with the horrible insurance companies yet again!! Why can't anything be simple?? Sure hope the rain stops for you soon, it will put everyone in a much better mood and you might even be able to get your carpet cleaned and have some dirt therapy too! Actually the pool did not seem too cold yesterday, guess they are going to drop the temps today for the weekend. I know that the pool will soon be closing for its cleaning, but I hope that it is not while I have Isaac and Sadie here with me for a week, they always like to go for the kids fun swim at the pool.

Kay - You are such a busy scrapper!! Guess it keeps you out of trouble though LOL.

Felis - How great that you have such an amazing family!! Your Mother makes me giggle!! I watched the trailer for secret life of pets and roared laughing!! :pound: Thanks for sharing!! I gotta watch this movie!! I really don't think they make it for kids, they make it for the parents of kids LOL. I hope it is at the theatre when the kids are all here!

Now I have to get to the gallery and find Jean's layout of her hubby's birthday!! Have a great afternoon everyone!
