!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <~ because I was not sure how many !!! I could fit in the subject line.
I wasn't at all sure that I was going to make it in one piece. But I did.:hail: OK, so technically I still have one more day to get through but I GOT This!!!!
PICC line was nice and clear, I didn't chop my toes off at my clients house (he is the one with all of the weapon collection stuff), got in a walk with my friend and had a yummy dinner with the fam. Vegetarian Roll ups with spinach, roasted red pepper, and avocado in a whole wheat wrap and kale chips, gobs and gobs of kale chips. Yummmmmmmmm!
It didn't start off all that good however. On his way out the door to finals, Scott and Gary were talking quietly about his car, and stuff about driving home from school. I asked what they were whispering about and it turns out Scott was in a (very minor!) car accident the day before. He was making a left hand turn and a pick up was turning in and he bumped the rim of the tire. The rim was scratched up a bit and the man didn't even want to get police/insurance involved. It was a new truck or he wouldn't have even cared about the scratches. So we'll wait and see how much it will cost to get the rim cleaned up or replaced. But I was kind of upset that no one told me when it happened.
Gary and Scott made a decision to not tell me since I was having such a bad day and they didn't want to worry me, esp. since it was no big deal.
I know that they made the right decision but I had such conflicting emotions-- my baby got in an accident. Eeep!!!! Its that crazy mother in me that wants to keep him in bubble wrap forever.
Nancy, Phyllis-- is this normal? Faery-Normal, even?
Then I went and got my blood drawn and brought the bill that I had with me. The drawing center send my blood to the lab that is not in my insurance plan and I was billed $230. The woman there called the lab and they wouldn't forgive the bill but they would give me a 15% discount. *snorts*
Then she calls my insurance company and they were willing to cover the bill...until they realize that the prescribing dr- my Lyme dr- is not in network. Of *course* she is not in network. She doesn't take insurance b/c of the ridiculous CDC/IDSA bull****!!!!! :brick:
The drawing center can't absorb my bill, so I have to pay it but they are not going to charge me my $15 co-pay for the rest of the year. Since I have to go every week, its not too bad of a deal. But there is something very very wrong with the health insurance system.
But yippeeee yappy yahooooey! It is Friday and I have one house to clean. Cait has a morning final and when she is done I am picking her up and she will help me clean. Then I am going to shower and collapse.
Finish It Friday-
My parents wedding album came in the mail yesterday - and it looks amazing!- but I need to make a card for them too.
Thanks as always for reading along with my crazy life saga. You all rock!!!!
