Mark this day in history: I am *not* happy that today is Friday.

I know, it is kinda crazy to even write that, but dang, I need another few days to get stuff done. Everything is such a mess, my house, my body, my mind. And it makes me :mad: that I can only do one or two big things a day before wiping out. "Big" meaning food shopping and cleaning the kitchen. *eye roll* I never got the Father's Day cards made, nor Arlene's gift. Today is gonna be a long one, and I am sure that by the time we all get back home, I am not going to be in any state . Tomorrow I have to clean here, get the eggs started for the deviled eggs, make the cupcakes for Christopher and then all of the stuff that I needed to do yesterday that didn't get done.

I have to make this quick so I can get in the shower before Cait and Gary do. (The rest of the O-World cheers wildly!:rockon:)

i should be back afterward for personal;s, but if I am not, I am sending lots of hugs to everyone!

LOL and I'm glad it IS Friday ... finally! I've been working my tail off these past couple of weeks and next week I have a conference to attend. It will make for long days - conference during the day, working on office stuff at night - but I'll be in a hotel, all by myself. Nice 'n' quiet ;)

Hopefully will get out of the office early today and hubby has eye surgery. He has cataracts in one eye that need to removed, but there's a cornea procedure that needs to be done first. I'll spare you the details (I shudder at the thought of what they're going to do), but he won't be able to drive. Stan will be there to drive him home, but I'd like to at least get home on time (wow, what a concept ... notice, not "early", but on time :ohwell:).

Chris, I hear ya on the long to-do list. *sigh*
 
I too am glad it is Friday. I have ended up with more on my todo list. LOL. But at least I see an end point. Yesterday was lovely. Had a great conversation with my sister. Got in good walks with Luther. Laundry is all done. My DH and I leave on Sat for a Viking Ocean cruise which starts in London, then to Scotland and Scottish isles, and then to Norway. We have always wanted to see the fiords and birds that nest in the cliffs. Also the ship goes above the Arctic circle which I think will be so cool and cool temperatures too. So I will be gone a while. I don't know how much I will check in. I will be taking photos. I am excited. This is my last big trip of the year. Though I never say never LOL.

Chris hang in there! You will get it all done. It is daunting but the slow go wins in the long run. You will have fun with all the fathers in attendance.

Kat good luck to your husband and his surgery. I am sure you can get home on time! Enjoy your time alone in the hotel and hope the conference goes well.

Trudy your hike sounded awesome. Too bad the woman could not make her own good bye party.

Rae I so wish I had open fields where Luther could really run with out a leash. He did his furnado this morning and he can move so fast! Sorry about the dizziness but good for pushing through.

Littler boxes, scooped, laundry running, b-fast and coffee consumed. we are out of her in 10 minutes but wanted to do a couple of personals to start--

Nancy- the rabies/lic. thing always gets me too- glad that your vet was able to clear it up yay for shrinking to do lists!!!

Trudy- the hike sounds wonderful but too bad that you all didn't get to say goodbye to your friend. We are so lucky to have the Tri-Town Challenge- it is all free and you get the opportunity to win some prizes at the end. The place in town charges $12 a session, who has that?
the park sounds perfect for the dogs, and thank goodness you were able to help ava back up.

Now I really have to go- TTYS!!!
 
Morning ladies... So far a nice sunny day and I have some things to get done today, so I will be heading downtown for a bit later on this morning. I need some new shorts and perhaps a new top for my trip to DD's. I am hoping its not too hot and humid while we are there. We are expecting rain for the weekend, so I guess I should try to get outside and do some yard work before that happens! Other wise it will be a boring day. This weekend I will get the beds ready for when we all arrive back here. It will be so nice to have the house filled with laughter and toys everywhere LOL.

Chris - Sorry that you are not happy that it is Friday! I hope that you muster up the strength to get everything done! Good luck with your trip today and I hope that Jaida does not have to have any major surgery! Sending you lots of positive vibes to make it through this day!

Nancy - Oh I am so jealous of your upcoming trip! I see those cruises on tv and think what a wonderful trip that would be!! I hope you get to see some of the places where they film Outlander!! If you see Jamie and Claire say hi to them for me and for god's sake take a picture with them!! :becky: Hope you get the rest of your to do list all finished today!

Rae - We are most likely cross posting today! I hope that you and Taz and Ava get a nice walk in the sun this morning! Too bad you have to give up one of your CT, but glad that it won't be here!! How many others do you CT for?

Good afternoon, ladies. That sounds weird...I always post in the morning, so I never say "good afternoon" lol. Such a busy day. I did a few CT posts and then left at 8:30 to take Ava out and had a few quick errands so didn't get back til about 10:30 and then got right to work. I'll be heading out again in a few hours so need to bust my butt with work and hopefully be caught up before I go out again and then can finish up in the late afternoon when I return. Then my daughter is popping by and then it'll be dinner time. The day is flying by.

Chris - don't worry, whatever doesn't get done...it'll be ok.

Nancy - furnado...that made me laugh LOL.

Kat - hi...sounds like you've had a busy time lately!

Trudy - I'm on 3 store CTs and some designer CTs so will probably have to let one of the stores go at some point soon b/c my work schedule is busier now but it's hard as I love them all. But I am not leaving the O. This is my lifeline...I need you ladies and having great kits to work with seals the deal :)

Ok, bye, gotta get to work. I'll be back later, maybe even scrap a bit tonight...yay.
 
Kat - I don't know how I missed you?? I don't want you to think I was totally ignoring you!! I sure hope that you manage to get home on time today! You need to have a nice quiet weekend away from all the hustle and bustle. But I know that will not happen for you. You love to be busy all the time! At least you will have peace and quiet in your hotel room! My DH has to have a cataract removed soon also. Darn men refuse to wear sunglasses outside when they are working and they wonder why they have damage to the eyes??
