It's here, it's here! It's Friday (Insert Rebecca Black song) :lalala:

Scott is all done with finals and school. I tired to check his grades online but everyone and their brother must have been on and nothing would load. Maybe I should just stick my head in the sand another day or too and see what happens....
Cait's dance was last night and she looked so cute! I would share photos but I am having "issues" with my card reader. Why, Technology must you be so difficult? Why?

I am working this morning,t hen the afternoon is to get some scrap stuff done. I really hate waiting until the end of the day to scrap because by then I am fried. So maybe today I can rearrange that somehow.

Finish It Friday:
Pay bills, clean house, and get ready for Father's Day. Then scrap!
No no no.....

Scrap-- THEN Pay bills, clean house, and get ready for Father's Day!!!!!!

have a great one!!

Morning O fam- back to work for me today- I got a lot done yesterday- my house feels much more free and clear and my energy is flowing why do I let clutter pile up?? I even have dinner planned-oops- better finish making it and let it cool it's jets in fridge till I get home. MMG had to spend an extra day on the road- gave me more clean up time, but I miss him! Chris- hope all goes will with the grades!

Laurie- that is how I am too, gotta front load my day because when I get home from work, its hard to get much else done.

Eva- so that is one way we are not alike-- I would have loved to stay outside. In fact, when I went to my MILs to work the other day, I was in one of her garden's weeding and it was raining. But I was covered by trees, so I was fine. If I ever get to come and visit, I'll weed for you :)

And Trudy- You know it, open invite, anytime I am in Ca. I am so coming to your house to putter in your gardens too.
Now- its about time-- those are the kind of hours you should bet getting at work! Enjoy the days!!!

argh! Laurie- we have horrible iron in our water here. We live about 5 miles from the historic Long Pond Ironworks. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Pond_Ironworks) so you can imagine the hard water/icky soil we have here. I hate when I scrub the toilets and showers for my clients, I never get them to look "clean" its just not possible here. How is the puppy holding up? Is he feeling any better since he had the steroids?
My vet suggested this me me once when Harley had a really bad stomach bug- to get them to eat more and higher calorie content-- canned kitten food. Easier on the stomach, better digestibility, and higher cals. Down side: they like it a lot and its hard to wean them off!

Maureen, never heard of pump bump- it is like a bone spur? Ouch! And people inthe US say they don't want universal healthcare because of long waits for appts /snark hahahahah!!
What herbs did you get? I love drying herbs in my kitchen, makes me feel pioneer-y LOL

Oh Dumpty, its so hard to have a pre teen/teen and deal with the heartaches.Doesn't it bring back all of the feelings when you were that age too? All I can say to cait is that being 13 is so hard, and it gets better, and hug her tightly.

I see Linda S post on Facebook on occasion, it seems like she is just running, and running and running. I miss her too.

M- backless running shies?? Really??

L- fingers crossed for good x-rays!

Eva  Are you keeping the extra one? You should, just for the aggravation! LOL

Morning "O" friends...TGIF!!! Another short shift for me today and then home to enjoy the afternoon! Yesterday it was soooo windy here!! I wanted to go for a walk, but I think I would have been blown into the next town if I would have. So I settled for a couple of miles on the treadmill instead. I have been working on doing a family tree for the family reunion this year, it has turned into a lot more work than I had planned on!! Sure hope after I get it all arranged that it will print out fine and I will be able to read it without needing a magnifying glass!! I laid it out to be on a 48 x 36 inch poster sized layout. Sure does slow down my system when I open it!! I think I will have a thousand layers when I am done Yikes!! Will it work?

Chris - Hooray for Passing grades!!! What a relief for you and your DS!! Your day sounds like mine, I must get bills paid and get ready for Father's Day also. MIL and FIL are coming here for dinner, I miss cooking for my Dad and Mom and Father's Day and Mother's Day are always kinda sad for me  But hopefully it will be a sunny day and we can sit outside on the deck!

Laurie - Glad that you got DE-cluttered!! Its always a great feeling to purge and free up the flow of the house!! Good for the soul! Wish my MIL would see it that way! She physically feels ill when she tries to throw out stuff, she has become a bit of hoarder. Have a great Friday!! Hope your MG makes it home today!!

To everyone else who shows up here today, have a wonderful day and I hope you can do what makes you happy!!

Okay.....so last night I posted some photos on facebook to realize they were automatically posting set for ONLY ME to see them!! :pound:Okay...not sure what was up with that...so I went back and found everything I had posted lately was like that....I was beginning to think I was invisible because no one was saying anything to me ..... I was getting a complex  I thought no one loved me anymore!!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I HAVE AWESOME NEWS!!! well to us it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been fighting with Jaiden for almost 10 months about potty training...she screamed, cried, got mad....and I just kept getting flustered.....well for the past two weeks I have been telling her that when school was out we were going to start potty training and if she didn't go, she would not be included in the fun stuff....I have talked non stop about it.....well she finally just started say "oh..okay nana"......so yesterday morning....I decided that potty training boot camp was open for business!!!! The morning did not go so well....she wet her underware every time...never would use the potty when I sat her on it...so after her nap....she got up...she was dry (unusual), but I thought this is the opportunity to get her to go...so we went straight to the bathroom...and on the potty....I told her she would NOT get up until she used it......an hour and half later....she finally peed in the potty!!! WE HAD A PARTY NEARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and don't you know....she has run to the bathroom by herself since and used that potty....she even has pooped three times in it!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously do know anything that has made me this happy in quite a while!! Now her reward each time was a piece of chocolate...which is extremely rare in my house for kids to get candy....sooooo by 9:30 last night....she was hanging from the ceiling almost!!! but sooooooooooooo worth it!!! I cut the hershey kisses into about 10 pieces each for today :pound: she is still okay with that!!! she has been all morning this morning on her own!! OOOOO I AM SO STINKIN PROUD OF HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in case you didn't realize she will be 4 yo in August!!!!!! she was nearly potty trained when she was still with her Mom just as she turned 2yo....and then things got really bad with Traci and she just let it go....so this is huge!!!!!

be back in a few minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning peeps

Chris - I bet you are seriously exhaling! I had to laugh about the Computer Apps grade tho....are you sure he's your son!?!?

Trudy, your bears are delightful, and oh...I bet they feel good. I almost bought a clematis at the Farmers' Market, but decided to stick to herbs. Can't grow clematis, and sure can't eat it.

Laurie, there's nothing like a clear uncluttered space to make you feel...Ahhhhh. I need to get some of that done before I go off dog sitting for a week.

Phylis, hope you feel a bit better soon. Sounds like a day involving retail therapy for you! Is your weather as great as ours is down here? Cool temps and almost no humidity! I'll take it!!

Well, my laundry is on the line, sheets almost ready to go back on the bed. (I really like the yellow more than the white set so the yellow stays on most of the summer.) I want to go out and get a pedicure soon...not sure what color to pick next. Orange?
Then it's do my basic packing for the week in VA. My dil asked me if there were any foods I wanted her to get for me. She's a good one! plus she's put up with a lot of challenges while my ds has been off in the trenches so much over the past couple of years. Fortunately, she can work from home most of the week.

Oh my herbs? Chris, most of the usual, parsley, basil - three kinds, a couple of sage varieties, some mints, and a flat of RED geraniums. Dick and I were both amazed at the vivid red of the Italian geraniums up by Lake Orta. I suspect it is their soil. The water also tasted good so probably a bunch of minerals up there. I also bought a zucchini plant that I hope will grow in the back of our yard which is about the only place that gets full sun. I also got a good sized horseradish plant. Now I have to learn how to plant that one, and what to do to use it.

Stopping in just a second to say Hi. Went down to town today, just to make a quick errand. Run in to a friend I haven't spoken to in a year, and we ended up having coffee and a looooooong talk. Totally nice! That quick visit down town took me 5 hrs :)

Just had thai take away for dinner. Love it. Now I can relax for a couple of hrs, then it's time for Sweden to beat England in the soccer game ... Yeah sure ... very likely LOL

always chatty at the O!!
I haven't visited in awhile but wanted to hop in and say hey!! Yesterday was our last day of school so today is errands, clean up and then pool. yay!! WE have some really cool pools here on post. Each neighborhood has a pool and they are all a little different and I can use any of them...but I am pretty sure they will all be crazy busy so we are going to our friend Dave's apartment. He's still in Afghanistan, but he kept his apartment so we get to use it...not that we didn't get to use it before. I have to get some new tires today too, which sucks. I hate spending large amounts on my car.

So, the coffee stand stuff is going really well. Still hoping for July 9th for opening and the coffee we are using is called Dancing Goats. I am having issues with the location. They are in no hurry to get back to me, which is a giant pain...but I have faith. Of course, wouldn't you know I was selected for an Xray job and got the call about that yesterday. It is at the hospital that is literally 5 minutes away that my husband is stationed at. We'll both be in radiology but in different departments. He's in Nuc Med and I'll be in radiology until I can convince somebody to train me in Mammo. I decided I can do both, I just have to hire someone and I'll work from 5am-7am then head off to work. I'll be a busy girl, but I already have daycare and stuff figured out and I'm excited. Now we just have to get the power figured out so that the espresso machine works. My momma is amazing and loaned us a little bit of money because we were cutting it really close. Doable, but really close.

Anyway, I have been dieting and have been losing weight, which excites me but nonetheless I am making bacon ice cream for a BBQ tomorrow. I knew if I were to ever make it, it had to be when other people would be eating it so I couldn't have very much. I am very dedicated on this diet though. After my FIL had heart surgery it really motivated me to get on the ball and get myself healthy to avoid unnecessary heart disease and diabetes. I know some of that is unavoidable but I want to prevent what is. It is a lot more motivating than just being annoyed with my weight. As I told some of my friends, if my kids have to run to my bedside because of heart complication when I'm 60 it will be because I have a bad heart, not because of my eating habits for the past 60 years.

Anyway, sorry for the random ramblings. I'll try and hop back in later for some personals, but don't hold me to it. I do read thru here often, even if I don't check in.
