yes, it really *is* Friday today!
How weird is this? It feels like this week went fast but when I think back to Monday and my Friday Date-Challenged mistake, it seems forever ago. So odd how time moves, right?I need a Time Lord for sure.

Is everyone ready for the weekend? I am ready for a bit of sun, that would be nice. Thankfully the storms we got were not as bad as they were predicting (no big surprise there). Even though we got a LOT of rain, no major wind. I can hear the sump pump kicking on every few minutes. And cold, darnit, it is sooo cold!!!!! 49* right now. It is June!!!!!!!

Off to work this morning, and then off to pick up Scott's girlfriend, and then a house full of teens for dinner. Cait and I got a compliment from of of Scott's friends yesterday. He was complaining to her that he could hear Cait and I "fan-girling" together over the Kerangg! Music Awards. (we were following the Twitter feed to see which of our band and band guys won yesterday). He told us that she that it was awesome and "perf" that we did that together. LOL Its funny, b/c Caitlyn is intimidated by this girl because, according to her, she is perf. THis was the second compliment that she got from her in one week and was very happy. The things that teens deal with......

So that is my day, and now it is time for me to get them to the bus stop.

Morning O fam! Happy Flag Day in the USA- I actually live in the state that has flag city - Findley, Ohio and the oldest flag factory is in Coshocton, Ohio! I am wearing my flag pin and red white and blue to work today. Other than that, not a lot of new stuff happening.

Apologies for the lack of contact, I was called to their CTs by two of my top 10 designers and ahd applied to a couple of guest calls, made it so I have been trying to organise everything to be able to do the guest spots properly and get organised with the new perm teams so I don't need to leave any of my current ones...

plus my carer has been letting me down, then I was very ill with a cold that Sarita got first passed it on and in a vicious circle all goes around...

I had a huge couple of fights with her in the past few weeks, because of her non cleaning/tidying up, we took of her bedroom two bowls with left over pasta that maybe have been there for a week, fungus white, green and yellow growing in it
worse is she answers me back in rebelion, and we get into a drama worth of a soap opera....

anyway, just wanted to come give a hugg and let you know I will be going through the galleries later on, as I havent slept yet...

Hello all! Been enjoying the past few days. We have had wonderful mild weather and nothing crazy going on. After 3 months of insanity (almost every day had a million things to do at once), the quiet is wonderful. Going to get some yard work done today and take the kids to the library to sign up for the summer reading program and scrapbook.
Sounds like this week post should be teen-age woes. One of mine is 13, so he likes to answer back with sarcasim, but otherwise, he is pretty good. With 4 home during the summer, I just to keep them from killing each other.

good late morning - again I do my good mom deed! Son forgot his rain coat so I took it to him. I swear he would forget his head if it was not attached. Oh well I had an errand to run any way and that got me out on a cloudy drizzly cool damp day that I probably would have put off. Drove past one of our local parks and saw a black crowned night heron and a great blue heron so that made my drive very pleasant. Got a good walk in yesterday in-between rain storms. It did drizzle on me but I am learning that it is not that bad LOL. Got some knitting done and started a new book. Son brought home Chipolte for dinner a nice surprise.

Chris glad to see today is really Friday. And yes time is strange! And yes teenagers have to put up with a lot

Evening all - I am so happy that it is the weekend. We just switched at work to a new scheduling system and apparently my Friday schedule did not get built properly. I got a call on my way to work wondering where I was because I had a patient there with an 8 am appt. I responded with well I am on my way to work and my start time is 8:30. So the day started off putting out fires. However it ended well and now I am waiting for my husband to grill steaks and start this weekend off. We saw an oriole outside on our deck and I even managed to get some pictures.
