TGIF!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I got a great night's sleep last night, first time in a long time. Too bad I needed about 4-5 more hiours of it. Did you ever have you alarm go off, and then think you were getting outof bed and getting your day started but it was all in your mind? That was me. I had "gotten up, went to the bathroom and got coffee" all in MY MIND! hahahaha!!!!!
It was a bummer when I realized that I had to actually get up and get ready, for real. One more day and I can sleep late! (-ish. Maybe to 7 am, but I'll take it!)

ahhh, had to get another cup of :tea:
yes **bliss**

I am so happy that today is:

  • gorgeous weather
  • easy house to clean, I should be out in 3 hours
  • Friday!
  • leftover for dinner which means no cooking!
Actually, that's a lie. I do have to cook-- making Oreo Pudding "Stuff" for my brother's b-day dinner tomorrow. (Can I just whinge for a moment that -- OMG I am totally all celebratory weekend-ed out??? And I still have three more weekends of family crap to go!. :brick: )
So I have to hit the store on the way home to get the ingredients. Its really yummy- but I will not think of calories! I am going to get sugar free pudding and low fat cool whip- maybe that with counterbalance the confectioners sugar and cream cheese in it? Oh-- and the pound of crumbles oreoes....

What fuin stuff do you have planned for today and this weekend? Make sure that you check out the June Challenges-- they are being posted up today and there are some really fun ones, as always.

Finish It Friday:
nothing too pressing that I can think of at the moment, but I am sure that once I get my To-Do List going, I will have plenty!

xoxoxo!!

Morning- Happy June- it is raining- I am so excited- yday I mowed my camo lawn- yup looked like camo with the green weeds mixed with dying grass- but it is wet out this am-Hurray! Last day of work this week and two days off- that excites me too! New month of challenges- guess I better run and post the June posting challenge!

Personals:

Phyllis- Do you get bad flares with the fibro and cortisone? Lyme and cortisone are a hugely bad combo. Which is why I am walking around with an icky inflamed and disfigured ankle - no cortisone shots for me any more. I know cortisone is bad for Diabetes, Gary's mom also has Type on and she needed a shot in her knee? Elbow? and it really screwed her up too.

"Good sleeping weather" heheh! Yup, my parents say that too, and it pops into my head as well some nights. It has been- cool biut no cold, perfect to be snuggled under some blankets and no hot flashes. Good times, good times....

No crows here, but we have a bird that Scott calls the Eric bird. It sounds like he is calling Eriiiiiiic, hey hey. Eriiiiiiiic, hey! LOL
I didn't see our mama bear and her 4 cubs yesterday. I would love to see them again, they were so adorable and small. But at the same time, Yeah, a mama and 4 tiny cubs.... not good to have her roaming the neighborhood. I posted a video on my FB page my neighbor took of 2 of them, if you want to see them. The babies must only be a month or 2 old, they are so small!

Laurie- hope you had a great day. How was your Touch finale?

Eva- no thank you!!! But if you want to trade him for me, I'll come to Sweden and he can come here and hang with my two "darling" teens.

Nana- My dreams are always so wacky- last night was my recurring dreams of the mama bear in my house. That one is always a combo of me protecting my own kids and the mama bears in my yard. But food in a camera??? That's a new one!!!

Bummer about not seeing you uncle. :heh:
How was C-man's game??

Oh Trudy- you take care of yourself and get off your feet today!!!!

Phyllis- I'll start driving west, and grab you on our way to go see Trudy! :car:
And yup. I might have to swing down and get Nana too. Maybe I need to shift my driving to a :plane:

Kristy- can't wait to see all of your girly pages!

Oh Stef, my heart breaks for you. Life sure can turn on a dime :(
I know this doesn't help at all, but at least you are moving while your kids are still little and not attached. We have thought (still thinking) that we might have to move too, and its so hard to think about pulling the kids out of High School and friends. Not that its easier to move with little ones, for sure.....
*fingers toes and eyes all crossed for a GREAT showing!!!*

Another sunny day in Sweden. But they've said that we might get snow tomorrow?!?!? I do hope that it's further up north. Ok ... I'm not a big fan on sunny hot weather ... but WHO wants snow in June?!

Plans for today ... I really should do some laundry. Maybe order my Iphone? They've lowered the price for the Iphone 4 ... might go for that. I really don't need to talk to my phone. My DH is probably right, if I could talk to my phone all it probably would hear was [in a very irritated voice] "Yeah, I knooow - shut up!" And really no need for it to find the closest flower shop. We only have one in Orsa, and I never buy flowers any way ;)

it's raining. and it's 61 degrees. WELCOME, June!!! what the heck is WITH this weather?? Hubby is going to the beach with his brother in a few days, and they're probably going to freeze!

i was just on Facebook and did a random check for my college roommate, who i lost touch with years and years ago. she doesn't have a Facebook page, but i found out via Google that she became a NUN 10 years ago, at age 50, after being a cellist in several orchestras. (we went to music school together at university.) i sure didn't see THAT one coming!! boy. you just never know where life is going to lead you.

just got a terse response from my former daughter re: her coming to the house this weekend to pick up some of her things. now i'll be pissed and depressed all day because of it. :pout: wait a minute. NO, i won't! i have a choice whether to be pissed and depressed, and i choose NOT to be. :nono:

i feel like my creativity has driven off a cliff. i seem to be wandering aimlessly on a whole lot of levels. gotta get focussed. on SOMETHING!

Chris, cortisone doesn't mess with the Fibro. only the blood sugar. i'm glad you got a good night's sleep. i made it to 4:45 again. someone drove up and down our little street and it woke me up. then my husband started snoring and i couldn't fall back asleep, so i gave up.:faint2:

Eva, so you decided YES on the iPhone. i'm not there yet. i'd like to have one that didn't require a data plan.

Laurie, i like your cammo lawn description. my lawn is pretty much always green, because it's MOSTLY crab grass!

Stef, this sounds like a tough time. good luck with everything you have to do. i hope the house sells soon.

well. off to figure out what to focus on....

Morning all..

After yesterday's dropdead gorgeous day, we have two fronts moving hither and yon here. Predicted thunderstorms and possible tornadoes this afternoon. I hate going down to our cellar in case of the latter! It's a dirt floor cellar, not a basement by any means, but it is relatively safe for tornadoes.

Yesterday I pulled my share of vines and weeds and then Dick got the electric saw out and cut down two or three trees that sprang up in our 12x12' front yard. I wanted one of the pin oaks moved to the back yard but he put it off and now down they were cut. Oh well...fewer leaves. Pin oak leaves are a bit of a pita as they are so small and stick together.

Today I want to catch up with my 365/Project Life and then get ready to do the Italy pics. That and upload a couple of months of layouts to be printed. Not the funnest job but...I have credits to use so sooner done, sooner returned.

ok so i bought 2 kits...will show off when i get them downloaded and then some layouts posted LOL

What a day. The house showing got cancelled - 30 min after it was scheduled to start. :( I am trying not to get frustrated, but it is hard. I am just so tired - who know worry could be so exhausting.

And yes, it is a good thing my kids are young. The youngest doesn't have a clue what is going on, and the oldest thinks it is a great adventure that we are "trying to find a new family for our house so we can go find a new (to us) one". *sigh*
