I am going to be super quick here for a bunch of reasons. I am late. I have to leave here in a half-hour because the two babies need more surgeries and we have to drop them off soon. Then I am off to work, then drive to get the babies this afternoon.
I am also in a really pissy mood. ACDSee completely crashed again while I was working on it. Tech Support is no help and I am so
I have been using this program for years and years and this issue has happened with every version. The sad part is because I have used it for 14 years or so, I have invested so much time into it and I find that I can't scrap without it. Every time the program crashes, I have to start over so basically, all of the work I have done gets wiped out.
yesterday was a bang-up mess of a day with errands and traffic and all that so I don't; even have anything funny to share.

So let me post this, wish all of you a fantastic day!

(Send silly pictures of your pets, please!!!)

Good Friday morning ladies... yup its me!! Long time no see right! Just popping in to say that I am alive and well and having so much fun with the kids being here! We got back from Ontario last week, but the kids have kept me very busy! I dropped them off to the ferry the other day for a quick visit with their other grandparents and I am picking them up from the ferry this afternoon, so that they can spend the long weekend with us. Then they head back to SaltSpring Island on Tuesday. Not sure how long they will be there but it will have to be over the weekend as Gary and I have tickets to the Cowichan valley wine festival and plans to attend it with my brother Tom and his wife. It is very hot and and very dry here, no rain for more than 40 days now. We are on level 3 water restrictions, so no more watering the lawn and only hand watering the plants and shrubs. Everything is pretty dead looking! We will be swimming with the kids this weekend at my brothers place on the river and then up to the In-Laws on the Lake, so they can get in a visit with the kids too. Our trip to Ontario was great, the flight was strange with the plane less than half full, not sure how the airline is able to keep going with only that many on the flights, but no complaints as we had lots of space to move around. It was the same on the trip home. Lots of fun seeing the city of Ottawa and a great trip to the Canadian Museum of Nature where Mason was thrilled to see all of the Dinosaurs that he loves so much! He knows the names of all of them too! I was impressed LOL. Lots of swimming in our Son's beautiful pool and lots of lazing around just enjoying each other's company. Of course the time went by way too quickly and there were lots of tears when we all had to say good-bye :( So happy that we got to be together for even that short visit! I have a bad feeling that the Covid numbers are going to get bad again and that things will be locked down once again. Sure hope I am wrong!! Anyway I just wanted to say hello to all of you and hope that you are all doing well! I have lots to catch up on once I get back here full time again. Hoping it will be by September as the kids will be here for most of August visiting with us and the other grandparents. It will be a great August! Take care my O family! I miss you and love you all!

@taxed4ever *waving hello* ... and I think just the same about Covid - so many people seem to relax a little bit too much. Like: "Distance? What's that? Never heard of it."

7pm here, just got home from work and had dinner. Plan tonight: knit & British crime on telly. Back to work tomorrow morning. If I haven't said it before - I love working at the library. Best part: helping people find a good book - especially kids.

Urban took John to get his first dose of the vaccine today. So good to know that he's gotten it. I know I can't fully relax, but at least I don't have to worry about bringing home the virus to my son anymore.

And - another cat photo for @faerywings :

Quick in and out for me too.

Chris @faerywings sorry about the babies. :( Hope your mood has elevated.

Trudy @taxed4ever SO good to hear from you!!! Glad you've had/are having such a good time!

Asher is here again today. We just got home from Game Stop - he had birthday money to spend. He's a happy camper.

Hugs to all! I'll look for some funny pet pics.

good evening - Wow last night was crazy with storms in NJ. There have been 6 confirmed tornados and one was an EV3 which has not been seen in NJ for many many years. But now today is just gorgeous! low humidity and a nice breeze and temps in 80s. Watched the USA woman's soccer team defeat the Netherlands to go to the gold medal game. It went to penalty kicks and that is crazy. Got more scrap pages done but gosh everyone takes so many photos I feel like I will have so many pages. It is not possible to have one style and I like that. Had a weird dream, my sister and I were at dinner and my alarm kept going off. I would hit the button but it kept coming on. They threw us out. Finally woke up. Guess I was tired. I usually wake before it goes off!

@faerywings Chris hope the weather helps your mood. Sorry no funny photos.

@taxed4ever Trudy good to see you are having such a great summer. The planes in the US are full so my son said and every one had to be masked! They were happy for that. Yes I think Covid is making a come back. This new Delta variant is really spreading.

@tanteva Eva I think it would be fun too to help people find that special book that hooks them into reading for life. Glad he got his vaccine.

@Cherylndesigns Cheryl I remember when my sons used to go to GameStop and how happy they were. Now they just order the games online through their systems. Thanks have changed! My cat hate water!

@felis Felis love the photo!

Have a great day!

Nancy @nancyr Asher still loves to go into the store! It makes me happy to watch him walk up and down the aisles and ohhhhhing and ahhhhhing over everything. He's only 10. We got in the store (here in the "middle of nowhere") and he said, "this store is awesome! Better than any of the stores in Florida". The guy working there heard him and told us that the local store was one of 12 in the whole country to be testing out the "new Look". Asher was super impressed!! Cracked me up - he's 10, going on 19 and he and the guy working in there were calling each other "man".

Hello girls!
I wasn't able to find much computer time as the weather here is extremely high (according to the TV news), so my dad decide that it's not good idea to do the patio now and didn't get free week. So I'm spending the week with my mom who was free from her work as was planned. I was involved in her organizing and cleaning projects, and also she helps me for some heavy seasonal projects at the cat house.

Nancy, I was so worried about Shadow, and it's nice to hear that it isn't serious! My cats all lose some weight during the summer, but it's always better to check! Your albums are so beautiful, it's a pleasure to watch at your page!

Chris, I hope you are at better mood today.

Cheryl, Asher is such a cute kid! The IG photos are just adorable!

Jean, this photo is so cool! It have so many sparrow at my yard these days and they poor came to drink from my cats water buckets, I'm so scared for them as cats are also outside most of the time. I'm trying to keep the dangerous to wear collars with bell, but still.

Eva, your cat is sooo pretty and funny! I'm totally agree librarian is one of the coolest profession!

Trudy!!! I'm so happy to hear your cool summer stories! How is feeling Heather at the new job?
