I want time to stop a bit-- maybe not stop completely but I don't want the summer to go by so quickly. I am shocked that we are already halfway through July.

I guess this past week I was in a funk, Caitlyn is feeling the same way so maybe it is something in the air. I need to focus on something to look forward too. Definitely the time we will be down the shore. *nods* I am hoping that my mom is feeling up to still going. I can drive (she usually does since she has the EZ Pass in her car) but if she is having a hard time walking it won't be so good for her. Guess we will have to wait and see.
I am hoping that it was just the weather yesterday, but I was in a lot of pain. Head to toe achiness, especially in my neck and spine. It made PT pretty uncomfortable. I was ready to ask the therapist to just let me sleep instead LOL
Cait and I worked a bit more on the puzzle, only to find another piece had fallen on the floor and W was chewing it. That makes 1 missing piece and 2 recovered but chewed pieces. We will never, ever, ever be able to borrow a puzzle from somebody.

I have no plans today other than scratching at the poison ivy that is covering my arm. hehe.
I hope your day is more exciting than mine because if that is the bar I have set ^^, it is pretty darn low! :pound:

Hugs!

Jean- How was your class? It has AC? No one is going to want to go anywhere today without AC, we are going to have heat indexes of 105* to 115* and it is 97% humidity. Scott has to be outside from 8 am to 4 pm with the camp kids but they have woods and water so hopefully, it won't be too bad. Please stay cool!

Kay- I am pleased to hear that you are starting to feel a bit better, I am sure that it takes time but baby steps in the happier direction are good.
That stinks about having to rename all of the scans. Will Felis' suggestion work? You stay cool too!

Felis- ((((hugs you back!!!!))) Hang in there! Petting the dogs or playing with the rats helps me get into a better mood too. Do you walk both dogs at the same time?
Haha! Yes, that song describes summer a lot.

Karen- Nice to see you here! Ugh! That is how I am with time. It just "goes." I am really proud of you for signing up for a fitness class!! :cheer2: I tried all of my denim shorts this summer and none of them fit either. Not being able to walk after the surgery on top of being lazier has done a number on me. You made me laugh out loud with your description of how you are at aerobics instructions. That is me to a T! You might get there, you might not (I never did!) but you are spot on-- you are moving and *that* is what matters!!

Love to all!

Good morning all. The dog had me up at 6am this morning wanting to go out and because the bedroom is up stairs and the dog needs to be carried (34lbs) hubby got up and carried him down. I took him out for his pee and end up staying downstairs because of course hubby went back to bed. It is his day off so I won’t see him until he is up around 10. Drives me nuts that he gets to sleep in on days he is off but I am always the one that has to stay up.. it is too hard on my knee to carry the dog upstairs all the time so I read or play word on the ipad or check out Oscraps to see what’s what. Okay enough of the pity party.

The fitness circuit went well yesterday. Way better than the aerobics class. Ha ha there were only 6 in the class so we had lots of time on each machine and my muscles are in better shape than I thought. Mind you the difficulty level of the weights was at the very start. Ha ha. Three days a week and a good brisk walk on the days between should make improvements. Well enough improvement that I can walk comfortably on the tours I have booked when on the cruise in August.

Well, the repairs to the outside of our unit in the complex is starting next week. The whole side of the wall has to come off to see how much water damage there is. I know one window seal has failed and most of the siding has weathered and cupped. Hopefully it only goes as far as the siding and not inside to the structure itself. We will have scaffolding and banging for a few weeks. Oh joy. However ours is the last really big project regarding walls and water egress in the complex. Then strata has to start on the big 8 foot skylights that need replacing. There are 10 in the complex so that will take some doing. After that we should be in pretty good shape.

I so want to move but the market here has fallen 14% and still unaffordable for the average family. The market has pretty much stalled with sellers still wanting a profitable price and buyers waiting for the prices to drop and developers holding on to what they have and finishing only what they have in progress. It really is a stalemate. We are really fortunate that we have a roof over our heads and it is paid up. I just have to be patient.

Have a good day all.... Cheers

We are under the heat dome which makes me feeling like doing pretty much nothing. They say we haven't had a "heat wave" like this since 2012 here which sounds about right. Class yesterday was lovely in the A/C. The teacher is going to display the two pieces with the wallpaper that I matted making me quite pleased. I worked more on what I started last week, but still waiting to get to the larger piece. Wanted to use better glue in the classroom to attach something, but realize I want paint under it first. Grocery shopping today will be an excuse to be in A/C, maybe go to library too. I don't know of any movies I want to see, but maybe find one to go see just to keep cool.

Chris, sure hope the heat isn't what made you feel bad yesterday, that would just be cruel. So, hope everything is better today. And if you can drive her car, your mom might want to be at the beach even if she can't walk much. Nice just to be there and away. Ugh to the poison ivy that I suppose is in your woods.

Karen, good for you to set out on an exercise program. So many benefits and especially for your August vacation. Too bad you can't be away while they work on your place. I hate all the noise that entails, but it's gotta be done.

Felis, what a smart idea about renaming files. I never knew about that. Thanks for looking at my owl page and the nice comments. Owls really do have a special feel about them because of the way they look and being out in the night.

Kay, what a shame it isn't cooling at night. At least you can still be cool inside, just not the same as having breezes coming in to freshen everything. Hope we all get cooler weather soon.

Keep cool, everyone. :cool2:

I'm so tired! As I'm born tired. It's long after midnight and I had to be at shower, but I drag around. I love showers itself, but the whole 'beauty stuff' before, I don't want even start that! I'm too tired so postpone it with side stuff, but this makes me more tired and the whole thing is going no sense, I know, I know! We have only one bathroom (think I'm mentioned it before) so have to prepare before sleep, or at morning will block everybody else's schedules, not nice. Do you think I can get out of grocery shopping for third weekend in row?
The whole day we arrange cabinets and dust cleaning. Sometimes I think my sister is right and we don't need so much sentimental objects. I tried to come here early today, but was distracted from new video of my favorite musician sing on a roof at Paris. On a roof at Paris, how cool is that!!! After that I played with the cats which tried to be copycats and sing on a roof, but nope, it's not the same when it isn't in Paris. :pound:

Chris, nooo! I strongly hope to not have to cancel your vacation plans! You need this! Even your mom need this! She will feel pains no matter where is so why to not be on pretty place?! I bet it home she will do much more overwhelmed things as housework stuff, instead just to enjoy vacation time. Sorry to hear that you was in pain yesterday! See you needs vacation! Hahaha, recovered but chewed puzzle pieces are more precious because now they are sentimental!
Nope, the big dog never go out, he is guardian dog, they don't go out of the territory they protect, and shouldn't be comfortable with strangers! He isn't so aggressive as one guardian dog should be, but that is because was homeless at first, and I'm not much good in making dog aggressive. However! Fortunately for him my yard is big enough to can run and play free, but he gets older and it's become difficult to force him to want do that.

Karen, good for you for the exercises! I just wish you persistence as these things get boring too quickly in my opinion! Hmm, it's requires a lot courage to left house full with memories, and this sabotage the effort to do market researches. Hope in future to be able to found something comfortable, also on a cost and in area you want!

Jean, great that they noted your idea with the wallpaper! Are you able to work on project both at class and in home, or have to left it at the classroom and continue next time?! Stay cool, dear, movie or library, both are good excuse!

Have a lovely weekend my dears! And good night from me! :bathbaby::sleep:
