Yesterday morning, I was being annoyed by a mosquito biting the heck out of me. Now I would prefer to go back to that. This morning I am being *disgusted* by an invasion (no exaggeration!) of little centipede things. Gary has been washing them off of the outside of the house and there have been gobs of them in the bathroom and kitchen. I hate those things.
One of my early moments in teaching preschool was learning how to suppress the gag reflex. Not when kids would throw up or have boogers running down their faces. We were on the playground and a little boy brought me a cup full of them as a "present." :puke:That was 27, maybe 28 years ago and I can still see it in my head.

Yesterday's PT was OK-- the therapist said my ankle was swollen up. It was pretty stiff and sore the day before but the pain seemed ok. I hope that it doesn't mean anything bad. I also packed away the puzzle. I felt so bad but Cait was fine -- she apologized to me! I grabbed a puzzle that we had done before so we have something to work on that will get our confidence back haha!!!!

I am off to my parents' today for a quick breakfast. Then my mom and I are going to a sporting goods store to check out some sneakers. I need a good pair and she wants to get me them for my birthday. She is 5 minutes from the mall so I am meeting them for bagels and then shopping. Ugh, I hate shopping.

Hoping that all of you have a happy day!

Felis- So happy that you are enjoying the weather! We had so much heavy rain yesterday afternoon and evening (Cait had a hard time getting home from babysitting - our road was entirely flooded within an hour of it starting) but the humidity and temps are wonderful right now. Gary hasn't set up our rain barrel yet either. I should drag that up front-- thank you for the reminder!
It seems so crazy that some places are losing the water table, like in India, and other places are submerged, like in New Orleans now and Washington DC last week.
I am reading a book that I got yesterday that takes place in Sophia! The Shadow Land I had read her first two books, one I loved the other was meh. So my fingers are crossed that this one is good.

Nancy- how fun to be watching hockey even if you must have been freezing in the arena. That is crazy to be waiting on line for an autograph so early. However, I remember waiting on line as a teen for concert tickets to go on sale so who am I to judge? haha!!
I know, it is so sad when you know something is bothering your pup and you just don't know what it is. Has Luther been holding up ok with the heat and humidity?

Hi Rae!! It is always so nice when you pop in. I love seeing you post so many beautiful pages on FB too. I know it was a good decision for you to step down from here, even though it makes me sad at the same time.

Karen! Great to see you too! So smart of you do do your scrap prep work while you have the time to do it, especially if you were on a roll. Enjoy the time home with your DD!!

good morning - wow did we have rain yesterday. Newark which is about 20 miles north of me had over 1.5 inches of rain so I know we had a lot too! There was some thunder but luckily no wind just downpours. We were under flash flood warnings until around 10pm. But I was lucky I got my errands done during a stoppage of rain in the middle of the afternoon. My son showed me I have an apple remote on my phone as he lost the apple remote to our apple TV so that made me very happy. Silly but nice to know these things. There are so many things on the phone that you don't know.

Chris that is terrible that your street flooded. The rain was heavy. It sure has made everything grow and green. Have fun shopping! I go to the store Jack Rabbit to get really good walking or running shoes. Have fun with family!

Hi Kay glad you still drop in. So glad the news about B is so positive! Scrapping should be fun and you should do it any way that makes you happy! I loved your bald eagle photos.

Felis hope the weather continues to stay fair!

Karen have a lot a fun with your daughter. She must have fabulous stories from her time in Australia and Malaysia.

Have a great day all!

Hello ladies,
I'm happy to see so many comes here yesterday! Yesterday I started all tasks in my To Do List, but not finished any of them  . It wasn't entirely my fault, as it was just one of these no luck days, we have specific word for that, but I don't know it on english. Another failure in water supply as they replace the pipes at the end of the neighborhood, messed seriously my schedule. You know how it is, when you are nervous other troubles also comes as attracted by a magnet. So today I finish and redo the tasks from both days. I started to scrap a page but it isn't coming out right. I feel it as its need just a pinch salt (metaphorically said), but I can't remember from where is this final element which I'm seeing in my imagination. Hope to be able to found it at the weekend.

Chris, first time I hear for this author. Let me know if the story is interesting! I'll try to find it if it's worth it. Hope it's not too cliche! Last time at Arnold Schwarzenegger's movie they was used modern Sophia, but with people dressed up like russian from previous century. L O L come on wake up people, we are slavianic, and similar, but not the same! And especially in our capital most people wear latest fashion tendency, you can see every big brand, but no one circle around in traditional garb (except for special dancing show programs). LOL
Oh, now centipede, sounds like they think you are kind host! Excuse, me that I'm laughing on this, I realize that this is annoying for most of the people, but I negligee it, except if they aren't danger I don't mind they to be around. This is a reason for many argues between me and my family. My mom insist that if you allows moths and ants in your rooms these are equal to keep dirt in your house, but for me they are just a nature take place in my house. Aww, hope you will be able to get back to this puzzle and this time finished it somewhere in future! It's frustrating to give up, so I understand you! Good luck in finding sneakers!

Rae, I miss your paleo and Taz stories! I'm agree for the social media, it's faster and fun communication, but it's not so deep as in forums (which isn't necessarily something bad).

Karen, my sister travel a lot and my mom is like you, but if you compare accidents with car/buss and plane on daily basis you can see that sky is much more safety! Have fun with your daughter!

Nancy, I'm hear that migraines can be very painful, so aren't for underestimation, but it's awesome that you'll be able to go on your vacation! Oh, I love this atmosphere of fangirling and groupies and the electricity of the crowd! It's nice that you can have fun watching the new players at Tour de France, I usually prefer to see well known faces. I hope rain to not make troubles in your area (and nowhere if it's possible)! ITA about the phone, my sister use so much more functions than me, and always have some trick  :croc: .

Have a lovely weekend, my dears!
