Daily Ooo's: Friday, January 13

This is going to be quick since I am missing half of my brain I think. I am running really late, feeling very confused and spacey. I know, that is what I usually am like LOL but today it is worse.
Guess this means I am herxing-- starting to at least. Oh please don't let this one be a bad one. I need all the brain power I can get!!!!

Reason #8448754 I can't hold a "real" job: If I had to use my brain for anything today other than picking which cleaning product to use on which appliance, I'd get fired.
Note to self: Bleach + ammonia = :rip:

Wow Chris, I am as spacy as you today- I just told my husband that today was friday the 13th! Just finished my workout and now some quiet time before work. My hairdresser and I discussed changing up my hair highlights and now I am a darker blond with what appears to be a slightly reddish tint. I am loving it, not sure MMG does. Need to get some pics.

Morning ladies... Well I did not tell my boss off, he was waaay late showing up to his own party, so most of us were into out 2nd drink by the time he arrived. It was a nice time, he did not say to much to us in the way of a speech and not too much was said to him either, I think that everyone is just relieved that he will no longer be with us!! Oh those poor people that to deal with him in the new store!! I think he is the first boss that I can say I really did not understand?? He seems to have a lot of personal issues, but that should have been kept personal and not brought to work!! Oh well the tyrant is gone!!!! Keep your fingers crossed that whoever is next will be a decent boss!

Chris - Sorry that you are feeling so spaced out !! But its Friday and hopefully you will have a pleasant weekend!

Laurie - Your new hair color sounds lovely! I bet your husband will love it! Give him time, you know that men don't like or take to change very well!!

Off to make some oatmeal for breakfast, its dark and chilly out today and it feels like an oatmeal morning!

Morning ladies!

It is early here and MO and suppose to be near 60!................not the typical January temps, but love them! Hopefully the last of the ice will melt on the front walkway from last week's ice storm. Strange weather!

Lots on my To Do list today. I'm back to exercising with everyone else since it is January. Love and hate my spin class. Hate the exercise part, but love how I feel after............we can all relate to that part. Pilates is a great group and lots of chatting that makes exercise time fly by!

Laurie-fun to lightly switch up the color every now and again. How is the boot camp?
Trudy-hoping the next person will be a good one. Oatmeal sounds pretty good!

We had a lot of freezing rain and then the snow fell on top of it!! Sort of a mess out there today!! Broke one of the main branches off our Dogwood and our dish is frozen...so no TV :rant: I have 3 kids here all day.....they get tired of me saying "you can watch a movie"

Jaiden fell asleep just after 6 last night, so she was up at 6 this morning...no one else was up, so I took her the KindleFire....about 45 minutes she hollered for me that it was messed up....I went to see, somehow she deregistered it and changed the language to Japanese :faint: I tried to switch it back from memory of what the setting buttons were...never could...so I had to call Amazon....WHAT A PIA!!!!

Good morning - went with my girlfriends to see Les Mes last night. Ann Hathaway was amazing! I know that I should not be surprised but it amazed me just how differently all my girlfriends looked at the movie. Two of my girlfriends were crying from the time they cut Fontine's hair until the end. One said how can Hugo have written such a sad story. I must be a PollyAnna because I saw the story as a triumph of love over situation. Yes horrible things happened to them all but those that loved they conquered their situations. I also loved that a good deed was repaid. Oh well!

Talked to my sister and she said last week the weather in AZ was colder than here in NJ. For once it was a good thing not to winter in the desert.

Chris and Laurie hope you feel better! And Laurie you hair sounds beautiful!

Trudy how wonderful to be rid the boss and hope the new one is fantastic and so glad that you are feeling so much better!

Donna have fun with your love/hate spinning - it does make you feel so much better when you are done!

Donna, thanks for sending that weather to ME tomorrow. we're supposed to be at around 48 degrees, which is A-OK for January in the Northeast!

waiting for the elusive Tile Guy to come and give me an estimate. whatever happened to SERVICE?? my usual tile guy hired a prep guy, who comes in and tears out everything and does the cement board, etc., then my REAL tile guy comes in to do the ART part. well, i called this prep guy almost 2 years ago. he said he would call me LAST March. i called a few month ago again, then he called and said he would call right after New Years. he didn't, so i had to call him AGAIN. and today he's actually supposed to come. we'll see. i may not want to do business with this guy, but have to go throught HIM to get to MY guy. :rant:

been running like a chicken with it's head cut off this morning.

The kid has been out of town for a couple of days with a friend of his. They are due home some time today. Craig and I are leaving town around noon to go visit our son and his family for the weekend, about 4 hours away. He's a varsity basketball coach---we are going to his game tonight. We try to make at least one game a season.

Hubby's back is a little better. He did manage to sleep in the bed last night. What a pain! He spread out and took up almost the whole thing. Then the snoring started. Finally at 1:30AM I got up and moved to the couch to get a little sleep. I was up at 5. Think I'll be way tired later today.

Leaving the kid my car (his car is in the shop) this weekend so he can go apply for a job and then go to his apartment and finish packing. Although, I think he really won't get much packing done. I told him to clean the place too----we'll see where that takes us. I think I'm asking for a miracle.
