It's a Triple-Bonus Day!
1. Friday
2. Last Day of February (sigh of relief, I made it!)
3. It's a Color Play Day!!

(Extra points for all of you: I have to keep it short. I am going with Caitlyn to drop Pigeon off for surgery soon ;) )

I had a great day yesterday. I always love spending time with my BFF. I also popped into the bird store and OMG, I *love* it. I mentioned to the owner how my son has been telling me I have to go in. When I said he is a Country Park Ranger, he said Scott? What a nice guy.
Mom-Pride.
I texted Scott after I left and told him if he ever needed a gift idea from me, just about anything from the shop would be perfect! Everything from seeds, feeders, bird and nature-themed art and jewelry. A kids section and gorgoesu, drool-worthy hiking sticks. Makes me want to do something nice to the hunk of wood I have in my car.

BFF feels fine after her treatment but she burned from the radiation. I don't remember having anything happen to my skin but I was non-functioning exhausted. Crazy how different people react.

I was going to clean my house yesterday and now I am thinking about it today, but I might (99.9% chance) bump that to tomorrow.

@BoatLady I love how you decorated with the boat flags, I'd love to see a pic if you have one. Good luck with the rummage sale too.
TY for the info on the basket materials. I bet I could use the tips of the forsythia after we prune and we also have a ton of white pine. *brain starts to chug along with ideas!*
How cool would it be if you lived nearby to teach me too :)

Eww about the water from the fountain! It would have been worth it if it worked haha!

@Terri M *my fingers are still all crossed for an easy sale!* I hope that you get a closing date soon. BFF was hoping to go to Disney in April and the tix from NJ were $900! They decided to go in July instead.
I'm with you. Alligators sound terrifying--much much worse than the bears up here!

I have a feeling that I am going to end up like you too-- more feeders than just the one. Scott said he and Sam are trying to find more room in their yard to get at least another one and they have 5. LOL

@vickyday LOL at the mockingbird flying off when they see you in the window! Scott was telling me how mad he gets at the starlings. I wonder if they will ever get conditioned to stay away for good.

WOW! The bird store sounds really nice! More like a gift shop for all things birds!

We ended up only getting a bit of drizzle in the morning. It was so damp and windy that I was "cold".... How soon we forget. Sun is shining now, looks awesome. And I've been hearing so many birds singing this week - gives me hope. :beatingheart:

Yes! I would love to visit that bird store! And I can only hope that enough paint ball splatter will eventually train the mockingbird to stay away, LOL!

Ilene is headed my way and I need to get dressed.
She is helping me with some errands today and Qwirkle in between.....imagine that....so Mark can stay in the woods.....imagine that! ;)

Good Morning everyone and Happy :friday: I can't believe it is the last day of February!! But that means that Spring is on the way Hooray!! The days are getting longer and it is so nice to wake up to daylight instead of pitch black!! Anyway another quick post from today as I am getting more estimates for the decks. Then I have to wash the car and get it all sparkling clean for our trip to Aunt Betty's 90th birthday. I really would love to work with the color play goodies today, but not sure I will be able to fit that in. Anyway I hope you all have a fabulous day and I hope to catch up with all of you on Sunday! :waving3:
 
I'm here... just busy getting 5 more Color Play LOs into the OS gallery and 10 of them out in digi-land, Still have a few to upload but the 5 LOs per day limit how many I can up-load each day. :floorlaugh: At least I slept much better last night - didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning!! I must have stayed in the same position for most of the night as my back was twisted and doesn't want to straighten up. I need to get into a hot shower and that should help straighten it out. I am expecting an UPS delivery today... I called the investment company about needing the tax info ASAP. They are sending it via expedited delivery, This company is always late on getting the tax info out!!! :mad: And my niece and hubby will be here this afternoon for the last visit before they head out tomorrow.
 
Quick pop In to say all is good. Surgery was good. Follow up today was good. Pain manageable but the woozy is hard. Electrolytes messing with my system and I need some sugary snacks as I keep crashing in energy and lethargy. Showering was horrible and even seated I almost passed out. But it’s all good and in a couple weeks it will be amazing. ❤️ hope you’re all having a wonderful day and weekend to come.
 
Hi Long Lost Oozies! Life has been busy! Enjoying a quiet evening home alone checking in and maybe start a page. Erinn is doing better, no firm diagnosis yet but she's to start going back to normal activity. Belle's loving her new job, she started as lead teacher in her classroom last week. She's very excited, and I've got that mom pride thing going on. It's been beautiful weather the past couple days. Hard to believe it was just a week ago we had two snow days off from work, and now it's 70 degrees. Crazy. @faerywings your bird store sounds like heaven! This weekend will try to get out taxes done, and I think I'm going to treat myself to an apple watch.
