Happy Friday to my O-Fam! seems like no one wants to deal with the day and it is only 8 am.
Cait slept late, Scott did too. even the pups didn't want to get out of bed. I didn't either, but that ain't nuthin' new. It rained last night and now the temps have dropped quickly so all of the slush we had is now ice. Hope the roads are ok for the kids to get to school. My town has a delayed opening but the HS buses run about the same time that they have to head out so roads should be salted by then.
I survived yesterday! I was exhausted by the time we got home but I made it. Dentist went fine and yes, my teeth feel great! LLMD went fine- as expected. I had dropped back down to my lower hand strength. November had been a good month, strongest that I had been in over a year and my Rheumatoid Factor had gone down too. But yeah, the last 2 months were not so good to me. We aren't changing anything treatment-wise since it is hard to separate my normal winter issues vs Lyme issues. I go back in three months to see where things stand. She is pretty convinced that I had a new tick bite last year which caused such a bad decline over the summer and then better after my treatment was kicked back up. As always, it is an interesting journey. :loco:
Cait babysat for my friend's kids yesterday and she told Caitlyn that my old friend had passed away. I just can't get my head wrapped around it all. It is very sad how cancer just destroys so much.
Gary and I were going to open up a new checking account today at a Community Bank in town and get out of Wells Fargo. We hate that bank but it is really confusing trying to close one out and open another, especially in the age of direct deposit and auto-pay. But it was time. The fees that Wells Fargo is implementing are ridiculous and just added the final nail to our opinion of them. Instead of having to go in to the branch, we actually were able to do it all online. Now we only have to wait for our info to clear and then we will be all set.
Cait has a Drs appt this afternoon and of course, I am going with her. Moral support and all that. Sheis getting those weird hives again. We had been to an allergist a few years ago who said that it was more an overactive immune system response than an actual allergy so we will have to see what the next step will be.
It has now taken me over a half-hour to write this since I needed to warm up Cait's car for her, play with the dogs, listen to Scott's bad parrot joke and finish my coffee.
Hope you are having an incredible day!
