Good morning and a happy Friday!
I am going to make this quick, I am running late and moving slow. You would think that I had a busy and hectic week.

I had a depressing day yesterday after I paid bills. My goodness, I never know how we are going to make it month to month. Whatever. It will work out. Or not. :noidea:
We are getting ready to go to PA this afternoon. Scott said that he might not be able to come with us because he is getting a group project assigned today and he might need to meet with his group this weekend. He is hoping that he won't but school has to come first. I didn't tell my mom last night when she called because there is no need to make her overthink things unless she has a reason.

I have some laundry to run this morning and then pack up. It is going to be three days of sitting in front of the fireplace so I don't have tons of stuff to pack. I have 2 books to reads and a small puzzle for Cait and me to work on.

I will be back on Sunday but probably won't post until Monday. Have a great day and weekend! xoxoxo

Trudy- Is any of that snow melting? We are above freezing again, but yesterday wasn't and it was so bad out there for the dogs. They couldn't walk on the lawn at all. Poor Ray kept sliding and falling and I couldn't get to her without falling. Broke my heart for her. But I was able to grab the metal shovel and use it as a pole to get a bit closer and she was able to get closer to the edge when the ice was lumpy, not smooth and sloped.
That is very sweet for DH to take you out on the 13th- I would have thought that would be a good night to go out too. Funny how that works out. Did you finish the stairs? If you did, that was in record time-I think that would have taken me a month to finish. Bet it felt wonderful to get out of the house and move your muscles in the pool.
Cait also uses these puzzle piece descriptors: Devil's Tail, Scoop, and darn I can't remember the last...

Rae- hope that your dinner was nice and that you had a great evening together. What did you watch?

Stacey- ugh about the weather by you too. It has been so strange hearing about the West Coast/Seattle snow.

Kay- Your week sounds like so much fun! Have an exciting weekend and Happy Birthday to DD#1 since I won't be here on Sunday.

Nancy- how is the leg/knee feeling today?
My kids are back to being swamped with homework so they were inside glued to their books and laptops. I wish I knew Chemistry and could help Scott. He is really struggling. He understands this professor better than the one he had last year, she goes over the equation process better but he still has such a hard time. :(

I better get going, I have a National Emergency prepare for.

Good Morning everyone! We got yet more :smow: last night, but at least the snowplow has been here already this morning. DH is out shoveling the driveway right now, so that we can get out later on. He has his pre-op exam at 10:20 and he will be dropping me at the pool. So I will get this posted quickly and then better get him some breakfast and get my bag ready for my swim. Sounds like we are in for more crappy weather, but at least the temps are a bit better.

Chris - I hope you have a wonderful time in PA!! I also hope that Scott will be able to join you, but yes school comes first. I know how you feel about not being able to help with the school work. I stopped being able to help the kids with Math homework when they were in the early high school years LOL. I was never very good at Math! Good thing that their Dad was. I was more into Art classes (imagine that!) :becky: Your poor Ray, slipping and sliding out on the ice, it must have been heartbreaking to watch! There was a news story on last night about a woman who had to go out on the ice covered river in Surrey to rescue her dog. The dog fell through the ice and then so did she trying to get him. The dog had chased a bird out onto the ice. Silly woman, why was your dog not on a leash??? Thankfully both were rescued and are fine. Is your Gary going to be able to join you at your Mom and Dad's? Enjoy reading your books and sitting by the fire! I hope you and Cait have a good time doing the puzzle too! It will be a nice relaxing time for you! Enjoy every moment! I did get the bottom part of the staircase finished yesterday, Now we need to get going on finishing the top banisters and spindles that encircle the living room, sounds weird I know but I will get pics when I am done. Then I decided to just relax later in the day and read a bit, then watched an old movie on TV. A good day!!

Ok I need to start breakfast for DH, he will be done with the shoveling soon. I look forward to getting to the pool this morning, then running to the hardware store for more stain and a new brush. Have a great Friday everyone! I will try to catch up with you all later!

Hello ladies, as some of you rightly guessed I was too overwhelmed past few days, because I'm so disorganized. Why I'm so chaotic person?! Every new year promises to change myself, but no results at all. I tried to work harder but now I'm so much exhausted that I'm close to collapse, definitely wouldn't continued next month.
This year Valentine days wasn't so bad. As I mentioned before 2018 was bad for few top models I follow, they has to deal with breakups and divorces, and was fast replaced with younger chicks. So this year on Instagram has strong wave from anti-Valentine and Galentine’s Day celebrating ladies. Good time to celebrate that single mean Independent.

Chris, have fun at PA! I hope that you will can leave your trouble on a side and to enjoy your time out. Pff, bills are always stressful, aren't they? At least your children soon will be independent and only two of you will deal easier.

Trudy, sounds like you'll have a nice day with your hobbies. Sorry that weather still disturb your area! Strange but many dogs fall at ice rivers?! Here two fisherman saved homeless dog which fall in the river walking on thin ice which broke under it.

Rae, I hope you had lovely romantic dinner!

Kay, your post actually makes me very happy, because I was worried that all those love noise will be painful for you now! So happy to see all yours great plans to keep you busy!

Nancy, hope you and the new PT will work good together. Why you had to change it? So you plan another Alaska trip?! That's awesome.

Oh, finally weekend have a wonderful and lazy time, girls! :cofbath:

Good morning, ladies. Busy day with lots of work so I'm popping to say a quick hello and off I go to get at it.

Had a lovely quiet night with D. He loved his steak and baked potatoes. I got him a few chocolate donuts which he loves and I don't usually buy them for him so its a fun treat. He went to the organic natural store and bought a loaf of the keto bread for me which was so thoughtful. He knew I hadn't been to the store this wk so I appreciated it. Enjoyed a tea last night as we watched "Widow" and I snacked on toasted keto bread and garlic/onion cashew cheese spread. The snow fell all evening but it was wet snow and it stayed above freezing so now its finally starting to melt.

I'll be back later. Need to get some work done. Have a great day, everyone.

Can't stay at the computer very long. Woke up at 4AM not feeling very good. Long story short - the tummy was very unhappy. Got set up with a small waste can on hand and took it with me to the bathroom. Yep.. knew it wasn't going to be good when I got really light-headed so laid down on the floor. Took about 30 minutes for it to clear out of my system. Managed to get back into bed and slept for 3 more hours. Know it was something I ate for supper - so will be tossing all those leftovers... even the ones in the freezer. Think it was a chicken dish that did it. Heading back to bed in a few...hope to sleep some more.
