TGIF! TGIF!!!
What I had hoped would be a quiet week didn't turn out that way but yipeeeee, its FRIDAY!!!

I made it down to the eye place, got the new Rx and wow, it is so nice to be able to see just about everything clearly with the multi-focal lenses. I know I wanted to save the extra money but sometimes I have to just give and and realize that the extra $40 is worth it. I bet I would have dropped and broken way more that $40 worth of stuff trying to deal with the regular lenses that I couldn't see out of. hahah!!

We had a really good time with my parents at dinner, in spite of my two kids being total skootches. (Skutches??? No idea if it is even a real word or not, but it works. LOL)
Why is it that two teens can get along great one minute and then be at each others throats the next? And once Cait gets bent out of shape-- look out, she will scowl and stare you down until you turn to stone. Scott, however, is immune to it, and in fact feeds off of it. The madder she gets, the more revved up he goes after her.
Ahhh, teenage sibling Bliss!!!! :frusty:

Off to babysit and then work and then I have kids coming over tonight and then more tomorrow and then possibly Sunday too..... thank goodness that they pretty much take care of themselves!

Finish It Friday.... Paperwork! Why is my desk always covered in paperwork?? its like they are rabbits!!!

So glad it is Friday! I have lots of accounting stuff to do at work today. Hope to finish up a couple of projects.

Craig and I are heading out of town tonight after work. Need to take our RV in for some maintenance so we thought we would make a weekend of it.

Supposed to be a high of 75 today and then a front come through tonight and the temps will plummet to the 30's. Go figure! Only in South Texas.

I started working on a layout last night. Not happy with it so I'm going to ditch it.

Oh--and I did make it to the gym yesterday. Hurt today!

Have a great day--need to run!

Good morning - Had a wonderful Valentine's day. My youngest son went with me to an autograph signing by David Clarkson one of my favorite NJ Devils. He was so nice. I asked him questions and he answered and we got a photo so fun! It was a huge line that went out the door of the store fortunately it was not too cold. Then we went over to friends to see their new son about 8 months now. He is so cute. When he saw the new faces he started to get scared and cry but then he settled down. A fun way to spend the evening. Now have to scrap the event LOL. Today the Devils play the Philly Flyers. Should be a good game. And the weather is going to be almost 50. Standing on train platforms can get really cold but yea not today.

Chris glad you made it to Friday. Teens are a trying time for all LOL.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Morning friends!! Off to work this morning, supposed to only be til 11am but now have a meeting with a sales rep to get some goodies ordered for the store... I am nervous!! :twitch: Looking forward to the weekend and hopefully just staying home and vegetating!

Chris - Oh those teenage years, when the boys are so goofy and girls are well...Janet from another planet!! My DD used to be able to turn us to stone too!! LOL. My son, well we just did not like him again until he was in his 20's, he left his brain somewhere when he turned 17??? Now they are both humans again and we love them so much!! Have a great day, hope the weather warms up for you!

 Hi Eva, how's the writing going??

Terry - hope the aches and pains don't stay with you too long, best thing is to go back and do the workout again...ouch!

Nancy - You met David Clarkson? What a great last name!! (my maiden name!!) My married name is Towle, so no one ever gets the pronunciation right, I am called Mrs. Tool, Mrs. Tooleee, or Mrs. Towel. Ummm hello people it is just like it is spelled sounds like Toll LOL. Hope you enjoy your hockey game today!!

Laurie - Have fun shopping with your hubby!!

Gotta get going or I will be late, see you all here later on today!

good afternoon!! or at least it FEELS like it's afternoon already. up since 3:21 a.m. but i still got 5 1/2 hours in, so i'm probably good. hubby got up to pee, i woke up because iheard him walking around from my recliner, he fell back to sleep. i didn't. and then the cat puked up a hairball. or two. so clean-up detail at around 4 a.m. sigh....

how about those meteor hits in Russia!! whoa!

Chris, my kids were 5 years apart, so they never really crossed paths that much, emotionally or otherwise. good luck!

Terry, have fun this weekend! hope the weather warms up for you. and i hope the weather warms up for ME, too! don't you hate it when you spend time on a page and it just does NOT come together??

Nancy, sounds like a fun Hockey BD for you. the last photos i have of hockey players are from when my son was about 13 and the Pens were practicing in the second rink in the facility where my son's team was practicing. Ulf Samuelsson was the object of my affection at the time. love those defensemen!!

Laurie. shopping with a man. you're braver than I am!

today, cleaning the house a bit and getting ready for a weekend solo trip to D.C. to visit The Grandmen. everybody PRAY for good weather for me. :help: it looks OK now, but i basically have NO faith in weather forecasters.

OK. shutting off the computer and getting off my a&&. have a great one, O-zies.

Terry, I remember those incredible swings in temperature when we lived in Austin. Much more dramatic than temp swings in Iowa. Hope the RV has a heater.

Phylis, praying for good weather for the trip to DC. You must love having the grand men so nearby.

Eva, sorry that the writing is slow this week.

Trudy, hope you get the slow moving weekend. I am afraid that mine won't be quite so relaxing. We fly home tomorrow and spend half of Sunday getting there. But it has been a very relaxing trip so I can't complain.

Nancy, so neat that your son went with you to the autograph signing.

Hope that the dinner and dancing was fun Laurie. I think my husband is making me shop later today.

Chris, I look at my two and sometimes you would swear that they are best friends. Then other times, I think it is dangerous to have them in the same town together...let alone the same room.
