woot woot! friday at last. Although I woke up to a huge "psych". I woke up a few minutes before my alarm and my first thought was .... sweeeeeet! Its Saturday! Nope, got one more sleep to go for that. :D

I am running late again... (what else is new) but this time is what because I was upstairs with Cait and her new bunny.

No, no-- its not for her to keep. She is in a 4-H program and is fostering a bunny for a couple of weeks. She is going home at the end of the project. but she is really cute- don't ask me what kind. She is white and soft. her name is Millie.
And she is 100% caitlyn's responsibility.

I should be able to pop back in later. I am working this morning, but I;ll have some time to kill between getting the kids to school and leaving for work.

Morning Chris- I woke up late too- so I will have to do the treadmill after work today. That is okay- I have done it before at night- I just know I am not as full of energy then and tend to walk slower. My husband- he prefers to walk later in the day- yup - opposites! Well I need to go get ready for work- it is a balmy 14 out already on its way to near 30!!
 
I am back- very VERY cold out there- 9*! Even with the car warming up and the heat blasting it was still cold inside.
laurie- we are supposed to break freezing the next three days- heat wave! wooo hooo!

Good for you walking tonight- slow and steady! I have not worked out in ages and ages. But between the shoveling and the cleaning I am moving what feel like non-stop.

Petra- How is it that those puppy eyes can get you every time LOL Harley has these awesome "eyebrows" that she wrinkles up when she is sad or questioning me. Ravyn has those big brown Lab eyes and she always looks sad. They kill me!
I am going to have to check out your gallery, good to hear you got a lot of scrapping done.

Laurie- I hope that you can find a video site- I would love to see you dance.

nana- oh no, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I guess its the same, its not a big deal to the drs, of course. Its not their mom or child getting the procedure done.
I am sure she will be in very good hands and better that she has it in than not. The tilt test- were they looking for POTS?
Hang in there sweetie- you know I am here and behind you 100%!

OT Dr rant- I took Scott to the ped for his check-up and he saw a different doctor than he usually sees. The dr asked about his Lyme treatment and when I explained the situation he gave me the whole spiel of "you need to get a second opinion" and "he needs to be seen by and Infectious Disease dr." Ugh!!!! BTDT!!

oh and the other crazy thing- he of course asked Scott about school, friends etc, and must have given him the safe sex talk. Scott told me that the dr said that he had seen 2 12 yo girls in his practice that were pg. 12 yo!!!!! two of them!!!!

I told Scott that I want him to wait for a long time, but if and when he decides to do this, that i want him to come to Gary or I to make sure that nothing like that happens to him. Or at least i think I said something like that. I don't know for sure, I was trying too hard to not pass out and get the words out. at one point I said to Scott, you know what I mean and he says, "Not a clue." :pound:

Back to our sweet nana- hugs to you. How did things go with Connor yesterday, any better than the day before?

Kayleigh- ITA with Nana. But if you think she is teething, you can try Hylands teething Tablets. A godsend!

Kristy- oh no! 4 kids and no dishwasher- that is not good!! Hope that you can get it fixed soon.

Trudy- can you get the doors open w/o the opener? I hope so. Sounds like you are very busy, I hope that you can get some good scrap time in soon.

its actually not that bad...yeah there are a LOT of dishes...but i actually enjoy washing them by hand....gives me time to think and its actually relaxing...okay am i weird or what??? hahahaha

not much goin on today elyse is home sick shes been coughing something nasty and its just getting worse so i figure a few days of rest is what she needs

do have to go to the store sometime today though...cause i need groceries....or we aren't having dinner tonight haha
 
Ok...crazinss here! I've had an awful cough for 2 1/2 weeks. On Monday night, Shaun woke up coughing with a fever of 102.6. Took him to the doctor and he had ear infection and influenza B...so much for that flu shot in the fall. He's been home all week. Finally seems better this morning...asked for breakfast. On Wednesday morning, Sydney woke up with a fever of 101. Took her to the doctor and tested negative for strep and flu but still has a fever of 101 this morning...so alternating the Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours.

I'm taking the day off...I had planned to volunteer at Valentine's Day parties for both Sydney and Shaun. So instead we're all staying home together to try to get well. Brian is very tired of his nursing career about now. ;-)
 
awwwe Linda i hope you and Shaun both feel better soon!! i never did see th e point of doing flu shots...specially after my dh got one he ended up in the hospital with a very severe case of the flu...so yeah def not into those!! LOL
 
Linda...you sound like ME!!! I had that horrible cough and congestion for weeks..even after two trips to the Dr.....I am still coughing....I take about two to three coughing spells a day now....uuuhhh....two and half months later. And I have heard this from so many people!!!! Hope you feel better soon!!! and don't last as long as me!!!


Okay...quick for me....I have 4 kids today...so it's a bit crazy!!!!

Connor sister is out of school today and their Mom asked if I could keep her, as her FIL was out of town (that is who usually keeps her when she is out)

Yesterday for me was quiet....I only had Savannah and she slept for three hours....I worked on my taxes....maybe I will be ready next week when you can start e-filing the long form!!!!!

I will be back later for personals.....sorry to to post and run...

quick pop in here...I'm getting ready to help my mom set up her table for a ladies' friendship brunch at her church tomorrow. I did a bunch of sewing projects of decorations for this, and I can't wait to take pics! And I'll be featuring one tutorial on the fabric designer (that I"m CTing for), Amanda's blog for next Friday! so fun!!

off to go find a coffee carafe...

OK! She's asleep!! I have some time!!!

It's been crazy here the last few days, she has been pretty cranky, i think it's because she's congested. Unfortunately I'm sick and so I think me being around her is getting her sick too =[

Hey everyone....Man, my feet and legs are killing me!! Standing for 8hrs straight is too hard on this old lady!! I am not used to working the 8hr shifts, but had to cover for a girl that requested two days off. Whew now I will be happy to be back to my part time hours!! Only one day off this weekend then a short four hour shift on Sunday, yuk, it just ruins the whole weekend!! Sounds like I won't have to do anymore sundays though as they are expecting a girl back from maternity leave. Hope to do some scrapping tonight, that is if I don't fall asleep in front of the tv tonight.

Chris - yes hubby was able to open the garage door without the remote, its very heavy and sure couldn't do it, but my MG is strong and he did it with very little effort. Its fixed today, the guy had time today so he got it fixed in about a half hour. Horray!! Just over 200 dollars to fix it, not as bad a we thought it would be. We were expecting twice as much. Are you going to take Scott for another opinion?? You must be so sick of doctors now!! I know that those little talks can be quite stressful!! I am sure you did fine though, at least you can talk to him about those delicate subjects!!

Laurie - you amaze me girl!! Where do you find the energy to work and then work out and dance too??? You rock!

LindaS - Hope that you all feel better real soon!!

Kayleigh - oh I hope you and baby both feel better, hope she lets you scrap a bit today too!

Helena - you like washing dishes???? Really?? :loco:

Hey ladies!!

Today was a totally weird waste of a day. It was frustrating. i got Ethan ready then me and Addie ready. I dropped Addie off at daycare and got one thing checked off for the Red Cross and dropped by Derek's department not thinking he'd be there but he was and he was headed to lunch so I went with him. When we were done with lunch I went to get some more things checked off but everyone was at lunch and I had a meeting with Ethan's teach so I ran to that. That went awesome. he is a rock star and is doing really really well. Yay!! I was really excited about that. So then I was going to go back to get some more Red Cross stuff done but the timing was off and i couldn't get back to the hospital and back home in time to get Ethan then back to the hospital to get Addie and Derek. So then I was just sitting around when Derek calls saying pick me up. Timing was all funky. But it all came together and I got them at the hospital and got back to Ethan by the time Ethan got home from school but got nothing check off the list. So i will need to do it again next week and I had Addie daycare for no reason. BUT she loved it.

So, than started rock climbing today with Derek. Sounds like they are having a blast. I'm totally stoked. This weekend the circus is in town. I know the kids want to go so we have to figure that out too.

I'm feeling like crap today...fighting off allergies and headaches all day. Ugh!! I want to some presonals...cuz I have some so I'll try and get back in a bit. Hugs. I want to scratch my eyeballs out.
