well, lookie there. double digits on the Feb date. That is going fast.

But at least it is Friday! So far, no plans this weekend, but I am sure I'll have a house full of kids again.

Not much happening here, cleaning client, cleaning here, paying bills.

In fact, that is my Finish It Friday- Wed. was Social Security Day and I started to pay some bills, and now I have to finish them up. Always a good time for all!!
I guess I should also get my stuff together for Income tax too. Double fun!

Gonna post this, and get more coffee. I have no-calorie muffins for everyone. enjoy :)

Laurie- those lights sounds awesome! Did you get them at a craft store or a hardware store? Can't wait to see what you do with them and the photos.

LindaS, I don't think I know the llama llama books. My kids love Is your Mama a Llama and will still recite bits and pieces of it to this day. That and the Kissing Hand were two huge fave's in our house.

When we were in Disney, we went to the petting zoo part of Animal Kingdom. (yes, i really do have 2 teenagers LOL) and there is a llama there that walks back and forth and tosses its head in a very teen-girl type way. We called that one our drama-llama too.

Phyllis- glad that you liked the llama and the moose. As soon as I saw that moose pic, I knew that was the one to post. That face is too funny!
There is perhaps one time worse at the mall then now. In July when they start putting out winter clothes. I can't ever think about buying snow boots in july.
Although, OTOH-- you are right, It is way scarier to think about bathing suits and shorts when your are pasty winter white and heavier than you want to be in feb.BTW- i am referring to myself there, not to you!


kristy- that is a tough way to wake up! get some water and rehydrate :)

katherine- Granddaughter?? You look waaaaaaay too young in your avi to have a g-dd!!!

Trudy- awww, thanks sweetie! I don't always feel like a ray of sunshine, but I try :)

Clara- how is Ethan feeling today? Hope that the bug went away and no one else gets sick. As you know, i am still fighting the easy class fight with Scott. I mean, how the heck do you get a D in gym????? ahhh!!

Morning- MMG came home early yesterday with a cough- not that I don't love him, but I steered clear- I can't work with the wee ones with a cough- here balance on this ball by yourself while I have a cough and cover it- just doesn't work for me! Anyways- I did spend time playing with my lights- I am taking a class called beyond layers by kim klassen and this was my Thursday assignment:

Thanks Chris- I am having a lot of fun and learning a lot too! The lights are by Everlasting Glow- I bought mine at a country craft store for $9- not for the amazon price.

Linda, i'd love to be going on your vacation! except the airplane part.... :plane:

well, i've been out of bed for almost 4 hours. woke up at 4:30 and gave up the idea of going back to bed. so, i made a page with the new AnnaStuff and started to work on the "what's new" post for later in the forum. i threw in a load of laundry. i ate an almond flour CC cookie and some unsweetened green tea for breakfast. (ha. Breakfast of Champions. i HATE thinking about what to eat when i first get up, but i have to eat as soon as i get out of bed because of the Diabetes Curse.) i think i'm going to try to get out of the house for a bit today, before the bad weather moves in. February returns to Pennsylvania....

good morning good morning...got 30min of exercise in so far....weeeeeeeeee got my water!!! had an easy morning this am...didnt have to get up and get the kids ready for school...they are off today for teacher work day...so i laid in bed and made dh fend for himself this morning haha....helena crawled into bed with me for a little bit....i got to snuggle up with her for a bit...made scrambled eggs considering i had 54 in my fridge!!!! lol neighbor is keeping me well in supply with eggs from her chickens haha

umm going out to lunch with the girls and a couple of friends today...weee

ohh and im gonna dye my hair....gonna go darker! time for a change!!!
 
TGIF ladies!!! Wow I can't believe how quickly the week is going by!! I really had to drag my butt out of bed this morning, hubby was out the door already before I was even up, usually we can get in a quick conversation or cup of coffee together before he leaves. Oh but I love my bed and could stay in it forever some mornings!! Why is it that my best sleep is the one after I get up at 4:00 to use the washroom and then crawl back to bed??:noidea:.

Chris - I will join you on that second cup of :tea: Muffins sound good too!! I should really whip up a batch this weekend, thanks for the idea!! :biggrin1:. Hope your cleaning goes well today and yes it is that time isn't it to get ready for the tax man!!

Laurie - OHHH pretty!! I love all this that glow and glitter, your class sounds interesting, I should check it out! Hope the cold bug passes you by!!

LindaS- Do you think I might fit in your suitcase, I could use a nice relaxing vacation !! We keep talking about it, but I really don't see it happening this year :pout:

Phylis - Do you have a fear of flying:plane:?? My MG doesn't like long flights, but its because he is a bit claustrophobic and if he falls asleep on a plane, when he wakes up he kind freaks out a bit. I keep trying to get him to go see someone about his claustrophobia but he's a man and doesn't think he needs any help. :mmph: Me on the other hand, I love to fly and just sit back enjoy the ride and watch a movie :pop2:

Well off to get some breakfast, shower and :brushteeth:, hooray its Friday and payday too so that's a bonus, off to Costco this weekend to restock the shelves. Have a wonderful day everyone!!! :wave:

Hi all...afternoon here already. A good day. I have my iMac up and running just fine except one of my email accounts still needs to be installed. That's an item Dick and I need to do together as I never remember all the Verizon settings. I also got a good batch of stuff to a local charity shop and can start another collection round the house.

Yesterday was a dentist day, teeth cleaning, and the hygienist was very pleased so of course so was I. I got out of there in no time flat! I credit these. She said, I'll bet you start to enjoy using them and she was right! Gum massage while I'm staring at a computer screen.

Now I am waiting for two calls - one from the psychiatrist dealing with my daughter and the other from my son. I need DETAILS about his trip east, not just his flight. How long? does he want to go to VA? :cell: If he drove, it wouldn't matter but he is an urban lad who let his license expire. ugh
But right now...our life seems calm. Lots of stuff up in the air but nothing that has Drama or Stress associated with it.

Laurie, I am "in" the same Beyond Layers but have not been able to do a damn bit of it. Soon I hope...even tho I have no interest in still life photos. I'll have to see how I can use those textures in other ways.
