CHEERY O
It is the month of Hearts! Love and health :)

Happy first day of Feb. Who is getting ready to poke the Groundhog to make sure he says Spring is around the corner? Phyllis, you live in PA, do you mind taking over that job this year? :D:D

Damn it got cold yesterday-- easily dropped 30* in one day. And windy. make it all stop!!!

But while I try to stay warm inside, I am going to check out all of the new O-Challenges and I know that the gallery is going to be looking good! And I am going to drink my coffee at the same time. :tea: Cheers!

What plans do you have today? I am working, then teaching Cait how to spackle walls so we get start to pain her room tomorrow. Fun fun fun...... :p

Love and hugs!

Looking over yesterday
s thread:

Remind me to take some Xanax next time I go food shopping after 10 am. Its was like Old-Biddy Day. And I mean that in a loving way but it took me so much longer justto get through the aisles. Then the ladies like to chat with you and I got to hear about some health issues plus recommend some coffee creamers to another lady :) It didn't bother me except that I was still in "Revved Up Faery Mode." If I take a handful of Xanax I'll slow down a bit. Ha!!!!

Laurie- we had crazy winds all day and I kept hearing about more trees coming down in town. I couldn't imagine that there were all that many left after Sandy, but I guess there are more where they came from. And landing across the roads, no less.

Phyllis- We are supposed to get snow again on Sunday. Make it stop, please! How did the Window Guy work out? ANy good news there?

Nancy- I hear ya on the power flickers! Its like a mini-heart attack every time!

Nana- how are your 2 men (boys) doing today? Feeling any better? My BFF's son has had a odd fever the last couple of days and she is freaking out because he was in the hospital for several days in Nov because they couldn't get his fever down. But a lot of people told her that some weird viral fever thing seems to be doing around. Hope that is all it is for Jesse.

Again, Trudy- that dream has me LMBO! And the smilie! Its perfect!

Hi terry! Sounds like you had a productive day yesterday!

Have a great one my lOvley O-Fam!

Morning Chris!! I had to laugh at the old ladies.....sound terrible, but I get so bent out of shape at the grocery store when I get behind the old ladies!!! I usually have much more patience with them...but I hate the grocery store so badly, I just want to hurry and get out!!!!

Well it's Friday...school is two hours late :noidea: Guess they wanted to continue the trend from Jan...kids were out every Friday because of weather or day scheduled off...I was  and the phone rang at 5:45 (the automated alert system from the school)

Mike is finally feeling better....the new abx must be working :whoo: and Jesse just got up...NO FEVER this morning :whoo: but poor bug has gotten another cough and congestion :frusty: I will be very happy when this winter is OVER!!!!

Okay...just posted up the Color challenge for Feb...I have to say...I am loving the color palette I picked....it produced some gorgeous pages from the CheeryOs and I can't wait to see what everyone else does!!! YAY!!! We do have some really awesome challenges for this month!!!

well...I see the sun peeking out over the mountains.....I am going to fix me a
mornincoffee.gif

anyone join me??

Morning O fam- it is a windchill of below zero and I really want to stay home, however the paycheck calls so I will go. Today I should get to learn a new translation machine- that I may get to use on Monday. I just finished my workout- I am consistent with them, I now need to CHANGE my relationship with food- I did it with exercise, I have decided I can do it with food as well. Okay off to get ready-- Have wonderful amazing days peeps!

Good morning ladies. -2 without wind chill...and boy are the winds blowing! That is cold!!! But have I told you that I will be leaving for perfect 80 degree weather in 140 hours. (Do we have a smiley for someone who is ducking while people throw things at them? Because I think with that taunt, it would be wise to duck.)

Off to get ready for work and grab a cup of coffee. I will be back tonight. Have a lOvely day ladies!

Nana, did you say "SUN"?????? wazzat?? we're getting a few more inches of SNOW today. LindaS, DUCK!! i'm gonna throw my slipper at you!!

Laurie, i once read someplace that you can't lose weight by exercise alone. if that's true, i don't know WHY you can't, but maybe it has to be a combo. you have such dedication, you should be able to change your food relationships without any trouble. you have FOCUS!!

Chris, i don't mind the old ladies so much. (snort...being one of the myself....) my biggest problem in the grocery store is Men with Shopping Carts. clueless, under my feet, in my WAY! and no idea about Supermarket Ettiquette. they leave their carts in the middle of the aisle and wander off. drives me nuts. the window experience was interesting. i'm getting what i want as a replacement, but one of the two guys they sent to my house (the boss) kept telling me how the guy who is in charge of dealing with this debacle was really bending over backwards for me. i told him that that was exactly what i expected him to do, and that was the RIGHT thing to do, considering the mess i've been living with for over a year. i told him that, of course, it was his job to stick up for his company, but that i wasn't gonna give anyone an "attaboy" for this situation. and that i was going to pat MYSELF on the back for not going totally ballistic right in their face. the guys at my house were trying to explain what they thought was wrong with MY HOUSE that was causing the window to leak, (it was a totally BIZARRE explanation, and i kept asking how what they were saying was even POSSIBLE, and they couldn't explain it. i had the same sort of window RIGHT THERE for almost 25 years and never had this sort of trouble before,) and i interrupted and said that, at this point, i wasn't interested in any of that. i just wanted the thing GONE, and i'd leave it to THEM to figure out what was wrong with the dud window. i will be SO HAPPY to get this thing off my house. one of the guys was nice. the other guy was one of those men who didn't like women who challenge. that would be ME!

oh, well. Hubby took a day off today, but hopefully he'll be gone for most of the day and NOT under my feet. he's off to cut up a tree across town and bring it home for firewood. me? i'm staying home and watching it snow. and maybe vacuuming. woot. :mmph:

enjoy Friday. lots!

Well since I was here a bit ago, it started snowing....the sun is shining so bright and the snow is falling like mad :-o .... school is now cancelled....it's only 19 degrees out too...

Morning my favourite "O"'s!! It early and I would love to be back in bed!! I hate these dark mornings!! But its Friday and I only work til one o'clock today Hooray!!! It will be a good work day too, statement day so I am in the back office with my girlfriend getting all that done today! Sweet!! Tomorrow is MG's birthday and groundhog day!! I am taking him out to dinner and a movie in the Big City, well the movie will be free as we have enough points on our debit cards that we both get free movies tickets, so it will be a cheap date night!! Gotta love my Scene Debit Card!!! His pick for the movie so it will probably be Zero Dark Thirty (guy movie!!)

Chris - What crazy weather!! Same happened where my DD lives in Ontario, T-shirt weather one day and freezing their butts off the next brrrrrr!! Glad you liked my dream, its seemed so real!! I remember looking around your living room thinking that you cleaned so well that you could never tell that the cats peed on your rug LOL.

LindaS - :brick: Sorry I couldn't find one with a slipper!! We are all just jealous!! You certainly deserve this wonderful vacation!!

Laurie - I found that weight watchers was the only way for me to take off the weight and with the amount of excercise that you do, you should have no problem losing weight if you went on WW! Its a lifestyle change, but really you still eat most of the food you always liked before.

Phylis - I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when these "MEN" tried to tell you that there was something wrong with your house, not their window!!!!! Really??? WTH??? As for the guys with shopping carts ITA with you on that!! Hope your hubby keeps out of your hair today!! Enjoy your new window, hopefully it is worry free!!

Nana Linda - What did the teachers want another Friday off?? I don't see why they would cancel school for a bit of snow?? When we lived in Saskatchewan they only cancelled school if the temp dropped to -40 and only because the buses that picked up the kids in the country would run. My kids hated that they lived in town and hardly ever got a snow day!! Glad to hear that the guys are finally feeling better!! Try to enjoy your day my friend!! You are right the challenges are awesome this month!!

Off to make breakfast and get to work, then home later to see what beauty the challenges have produced!!
