Friday the 13th.Who is up for some luck? I always had good days on Fri. the 13th. And yes, I have a black cat too LOL My bad luck happened on all other non-Fri. the 13ths!
Yesterday's "presentation" turned out different than what i expected, but was still very good. The woman running it never told the instructors that i was coming for one. Then since the woman never called me back, I had no idea what was expected of me.
What they had the kids do was break into groups, and they had 15 minutes to meet with us, brainstorm ideas, and the business people coached the kids, gave them ideas etc. I was really glad I showed up because
1. I was the only female on the "panel." That is the kind of thing that irks me- so I was up there looking at the girls, thinking "Represent! Hahahaah!
2. The other business men had a lot of business experience, but I have the marketing/craft fair type experience. I have been selling at fairs and markets for a long time, so i am good at knowing how to get people to your table to sell.
(For those of you who asked, I own an online bath/body care biz- Faery-Wings Apothecary I make all the products myself and I sell at craft shows too)
So yeah, it was cool. Caitlyn was bummed she didn't get to be in my group at all, but I told her she could talk to me at any time!
Sandra, I am praying for you sweetie. Hang in there- like I said, you are strong!!! I have faith in you. Love you!
Alicia. LOL it is always so cute to see all of you whose partners/dh's are away. I almost never away from hubby since he is disabled and always at home. I never get the chance to miss him
Glad that you two will have a nice reunion! But it really great that his trips give you that chance to be yourself too. Love that!
Woo hoo Tali- So glad that you have fiun dancing! My BFF just started a Zoomba?? Dance class at her gym. Its Latin Dance aerobics and she thinks it is so much fun she forgets she is working out. But the best--- yay for other adult time! You deserve it!
And wow- I would love to sit and have coffee with ya too. I have a feeling we could talk for hours!! The Ooo's used to joke about having all of the Ooo's living in the same neigborhood where we couild all meet for coffe and chatting and scrapping.... wouldn't that be so awesome?
Clara- you are just amazing!! How wonderful that you are making every effort to make Christian feel like family. ((((hugs))))) Clara, you nailed it- that is what hurt me so much with the situtation with my brother and the baby. It sometimes really does feel that no matter how good a person I am , how positive I try to be, somedays it doesn't matter, it doesn't change a thing.
But this is where I have to dig deep and tell myself, "it is what it is, and I can either mope and be miserable or push on with a smile." I have to give myself a day to mope and crab, but then I know I cannot let that take over! And that is where my O-Fam and their fab-O-lous hugs and love come in!
Sally -- I love you!!!!!!!!! Victory shall be mine!!!! *said in evil Stewie Voice* Hope that you all feeling tons better- and no more sickies in the house. xoxoxoxo
Kat- doesn't it just amaze you how wise Sally is? Hope you giys are good! Are you getting this crazy wind in PA? It has been insane here in NJ- and I heard South Jersey was even worse.... 60 mile wind gusts!
LindaP- hey girl!!! Hope you are having a great day too. When I met Gary, he used to go to the go-go bars to "watch hockey."

I just LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEE my O-Fam! I really do!!!
We are going to my parents lakehouse tonight for a little weekend getaway, so I will be off line till Monday. I am bringing my laptop, and Twilight Book 4 and my goal is to sit on my butt for three days and read and scrap LOLOL!
