Happy Friday!!!
In spite of the weather messing up my plans, I feel like I accomplished a lot yesterday. (ignore the load of laundry that has been sitting in the dryer for 2 days!)I finished Arlene's gift and I honestly love it! That is a first.

I know that it is hard to see against all of the other knick-knacks but at least you have an idea. Scott said that she is going to love it too.
I also worked a bit more on the centerpieces I am making for my BFF- added some glitter and ribbons. Next, I need to have Gary cut out a J and Y (using a snowflake for the O) from wood and then I should be almost done with hers. I still need to make the cork wreath for my SIL, but all of the Pinterest instructions say that should be done in an hour or so. Even if I turn that into several hours, it is def. doable.
I don't know how it happened, but W managed to get glitter all of her face and back. It is a super fine glitter but if you looked at her in the light, she sparkled everywhere. LOL
I also baked two trays of Magic Bars and one tray of Pecan Pie Bars.
And... I started to scrap a page for the 2nd Day Challenge. Then I realized it was my turn to do the Gallery Spotlight for the HAPS and needed to work on that instead. I am glad that I remembered. Maybe I can work a bit more on the LO later today.
Little Cordelia seems to be very friendly which I would have thought that she would be more skittish. She is the one who had the surgery to remove abscesses and ended up having a tiny bit of her spleen removed b/c of the abscess. But nope, that one is a mover and a shaker! Caitlyn had the three of them on her bed for a while as she was studying and they scamper! Poor Muffin and Clover waddled at the end, they couldn't do much more because of the size of their tumors. But these little babies- so fast, zipping around the bed and under the covers and climbing inside the pillowcases. Really fun to watch. Cait has that rollercoaster of emotions. She is so happy to have them and loves them already. But they also make her miss her other girls too. She had such a strong bond with Muffin and Clovie-- and it is only been 4 days with these girls so the bond isn't there yet. She knows it will build but at this moment, it is obvious to her that it isn't yet the same. It is never easy, is it?
Today I am off to do the shopping that I needed to do yesterday. My neighbor asked me to make up one additional basket for her so I have to keep my eyes open for that as well.
love, hugs, peace, and joy!
