Please, help me sleep like a normal person again. I can't keep doing this to myself. I feel awful and cranky and bleary.
I did get quite a bit done yesterday. Still not enough but more. I made the pinecone firestarters, that was the big project and mess of the day. I have to get them into bags today. I also did what? Little stuff here and there. The big "shopping" was that I got some cheap candy for the family's stocking at Dollar General and some stuff I needed for the house. They have flat rate shipping so it wasn't too bad. I wish they had ship-to-store like Walgreens but $6 to ship here is worth not having to go inside. Did I tell you that my little, semi-rural town is averaging over 30 cases a day? It is so bad. SMH I also got Mad Libs for the fam! Star Wars for Gary, Pirates for Scott, and Spooky for Caitlyn. That should be fun for a game night.
The *best: part of my day was this:

Ready?
Isn't she gorgeous???
Remember when Scott's tarantula escaped and Jean asked me for some photos of her? Jean used them to paint Rita. I was freaking out since I had no gifts for him so I asked Jean if she were willing to take a picture of the painting so I could print it for him, I knew he would get a kick out of seeing it.
In case you are wondering *wink*, Jean is a talented artist and an amazingly generous person and friend. She scanned the painting, added some doodles (you can see Scott and Rita's name up there), and sent me the files to print and frame. Thank you again, Jean!
I can't wait for Christmas!
My parents are coming up this morning, looks like it shouldn't be too cold. I think I am going to bake another batch of cookies- pecan pie bars. (not Bras, silly typo fingers! ). More gifts and housework.
So much to do and so little time/energy. Ya feel me?
Wishing everyone a relaxing, productive, and happy day!
