Why does it feel so darn good to have both kids here at home again? What in the world am I gonna do when they move out for good?

They had a great time camping and I got to see a few of the pictures. They were *exhausted* when they got back. I missed them a lot but I think Cait missed the rats more than anything.

I had a really nice time with my Mom and Arlene. The cortisone shots seem to be helping my mom's knees and her PT eval is this morning. Her car drives so nice, I can't figure out why she doesn't like it. I had no issues driving it. She was cute-- giving me "tips" and asking if I was ok. (Guess where I get that from? haha!!!!!). I told her that once you put it in Drive, it is gas/brake/mirrors-- all the same as any other car.

I am so jealous of Arlene's swim club that she belongs too. It is just gorgeous. My mom was shocked when I told her that it was the first time I had a bathing suit on all year. I was pretty shocked myself. *grins* I still can't seem to get my feet any "tan." I have a line at my ankles where my socks are. My legs have a bit of tan from being out in the yard, but my feet-- no sun at all. It looks pretty darn funny.

I have no major plans today. I need to get my act together. I started a scrap page last week and still haven't finished it. I need to clean up around here too. I hope that everyone has a fun and happy day!

good morning - We had a great time at the wildlife refuge. We saw lots of cool birds. And I have to say I am really enjoying this new app Merlin bird ID. We saw some birds - the little peeps and I have no idea what they are. This app identified them. It is so cool. Funny how when I get a glimpse of the bird I cannot figure it out but think goodness the pictures turn out. I am learning a lot about what I need to look at when looking at birds to make me a better birdwatcher. Started watching a new show - well binging actually - Dead to Me with Christina Applegate. It is about a widow who has lost her husband in a hit and run accident and how she copes with the loss. It is really good. But also getting the last of the Alaska pages done. And yes Chris I used to hate black but now I find I often buy clothes that are black. And now I will occasionally used a black and white photo.

Chris so glad that the kids had a good time. Funny how you think Cait missed her rats! So glad your mom is doing so much better. Cortisone shots really do help. Your BFFs swim club must have been so fun!

Kay that is really something that your printer is now working! Glad you did not get a new one and then find the old worked fine! That embroidery your daughter made is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Felis I am glad you are remembering your grandma. Your words always make think. Yes people need to speak up. Thanks for reminding me of that!

I'll be in better mood next week, I promise! I slept 12 hours and this restart me at some point. I wasn't did it from ages. Just a regular weekend, cleaning today and grocery shopping tomorrow. Chris, it's good and expected to feel happy that whole family is together! We unfortunately found this summer that deal better when we are separate :cry: . What stop you to become a part of the Arlene's swim club?! I'm half like you with the swimsuits, I'm wear only wholesale, and my belly is so white. Because I hate it, as I often complain I had to epilate my full body because of the stupid PCO Syndrome, it's so painful. And better stay covered.

Nancy, this app sounds awesome! We have one with all birds on territory of my country, but it's only as encyclopedia and non functional. Or it wasn't last time I checked. I like Christina Applegate, but she was left me with impression for comedic actress. Let me know did you liked this show, and I may check it too.
