TGIF! IN 6-8 hours, I am going to be off the hook with the rats! My goodness, the babies sure are difficult. But so darn cute. <3 I sent Caitlyn a little video of the four of them in the big cage and said that as of 2.45 am they were back in there. At that, she called me to see what the heck had happened. I thought she was going to be mad at me for letting them escape, not once, but twice. She was more aggravated at them. Whew. *whispers.... they deserve that, not me-- I tried my best...*

I mean, would you think that this is the face of a purely evil mastermind?

I was up in her room on and off all day, checking and doubling checking the cage doors, but there is no way that they can break out of that one.

The kids sound like they are having a great time, the weather has been nice, they are all set up and decked out at the cabin with a disco ball and bubble machine, and hammocks. I cannot wait to see the pictures. Cait sent me one of Scott climbing the tree last night. I think I have one of him in a tree from every year now. She also sent ones to me of her with grapes up her nose so take that for what it is worth LOL

My mom is coming up this morning, we are going to try to get travel insurance for our trip next month. I hope it isn't too late. Then the kids will be home later today. I am all caught up on laundry and will run the dishwasher so they will have all of that available to them.

hugs!!!

@felis they are the cutest little troublemakers, though :) I gave them baby food yogurt as a treat and they loved me a bit for that, at least while I was feeding it to them
Hope your crocheting is going great!!!

@tanteva I want to work for you in the Lazy Crazy Department. Will you hire me? "Will work for books"
I am going to see if I can find the best layout ever-- But don't even think of retiring LOL

Kay- it has been a really long time for your back to be out. Glad that there is a bit of improvement, hope that continues

@Cherylndesigns My zoo is too much... :D You can see why they use rats for experiments, both in learning and in medical testing. Super smart and easy to grow tumors. I try to focus on the super-smart :)
I bet Sam and Daisy will look out for each other and she will bark if he strays too far.

@Kythe thanks for the info on Janet King :)

Hello Chris and Eva!
Chris, go directly to instagram and sign up for the academy's this weekend giveaway, as I swear Christmas is just around the corner! :D

Nahhh, I don't doing well with my crochet projects, and they aren't even for Christmas, it's supposed to be a gifts for sooner personal holidays of my family. It's too exhausting to deal with double portion of work and the hobby project at the same time. I hope to be better next week, but the first one gone with just a 10 centimeters from a blanket done. I was rely on the weekend, but we have that superstitious that shouldn't knit, sew, or other creative homework on the big religious holidays and I wasn't realize that today and tomorrow they are. It's kind of confusing as every day some orthodox saint celebrate, every day is dedicated to some of them, but some are small and its OK for chores, other are bigger and then you shouldn't craft. Even not being religious myself, I'm very superstitious and influenced by the old beliefs and superstitious. :(

So Chris, Whos the little lady on the Photo? Is that Evie and some kind of game on words with mentioned evil? I'm kind of relief that this year don't foster any kittens only adults, youngest are so energetic and time consuming. It's not surprising that you are nervous and suspicious all the time.
I hope that you was able to get that travel insurance and had fun afternoon with your mom at the afternoon!
Can bet that you are beyond the happiness because kids are back!

Eva, if you have any idea how to makes eyes to feel better please share! I feel mine very tired too! o_O
Bad, bad Discord, that's not funny at all! But he is so handsome, so this time I'll pretend that I'm not hear it!

Hello all,

I've had a busy day - we went into town with Adrienne's guest and she (Carey) shopped til she dropped. Adrienne and I didn't buy a thing. We were shocked! Carey's tiny, though - like a size 0 and she wears a 5 or 6 shoe and there are always tiny sizes on sale. Never big sizes - we're lucky to find mediums on sale. We're not big, but the tiny sizes are always left over. Carey's from Michigan and we took her to a western wear store and she went nuts. Bought 2 pairs of cowboy boots!! Not just one, but 2! and they weren't on sale! She's never worn a pair in her life and like she said, there aren't boot stores on every corner in Michigan. She came home with two huge bags! Adrienne and I both tried things on, but it wasn't our day. I really wanted a 1/2 price pair of boots, but nothing in my size, as usual. Not even regular priced.

Chris @faerywings what cuties those rats are. Did I just say that??? ROTF J/K they REALLY are. Yes, my "furbabies" are actually starting to like each other. They even stay together when they go outside. Chuck moved Daisy's tie out to the back of the house so they can go clear down to where the woods start. He said that while I was gone today, he went out back and called for them (he couldn't see them) and Sam looked right at him and here he came! He beat Daisy to the back door. He loves his kitty treats and will usually respond if he thinks he's getting a few of them. I wasn't holding out much hope for them for the first couple of months - Sam just didn't like Daisy. They seem to have made a truce. They even play a bit.

I got a page done for the art journaling challenge today so I need to get that posted. Waving to all.
