Oh wow it has been a busy week and I have a busier weekend coming up. I am goign to post this in case Nana Linda is typing at the same time, I am going to refresh my coffee and I will brb!
 
Soooo how is everyone today? I had quite the milestone day yesterday. Scott had HS orientation and Cait had her 7th-8th grade beach party. I swear, i am to young to have a Middle school kid and a HS kid!
Scott BFF Jen come over yesterday too and I asked them when they were going to go out. They are so dang cute together.

Merlin (our cat who is sick) had his ultrasound yesterday and it showed nothing. Which is really good news except it doesn't tell us why he is still peeing out of his litter box.

I know I never made it back yesterday for personals. I was exhausted and felt hungover, even though I haven't drank a drop in a week!

Linda S- so the kids are getting settled with school and activities? 6 days left for me....

Laurie- sounds like you had a busy day! Are you back into "real life" mode yet?

Krista- yay- sounds like a wonderful time!

Linda w- how are you feeling today? Is there some way to block 900#'s? Hope you got some good sleep.
Netflix rocks. we used to have HBO On Demand and we dropped that for Netflix- love being able to stream movies.

Andrea- ugh about school. I had to do that -- every 2.5 hrs I had to be at the bus stop. There just wasn't enough time to do anything in between (We live 45 min's from everything...) Lots of good thoughts that the school and Gen's services go super smooth for ya. I know you don't want to go to the ball- but from an outsider point of view- what an honor! Can't wait to see pics.

Clara- you are such a good sport, keeping up with the Ooo's on your cell! You rock!


Trudy- hugs for you and your DD!!

Meg- ugh-- what a mess re: your DH! Hope everything works out, sounds like a nightmare.

I gotta get as much housework as possible done today....I have been trying to not have any grandkids here on Saturdays and doing all of my work then, but Cameran is coming about lunchtime tomorrow...and I hate to work around them when they are here on the weekend...it's different than during the week. I was thinking of taking him to the safari drive through zoo....His Mom took him to the bigger zoo at Natural Bridge last weekend...that kid loves zoos as much as I do!! HEHE!! he loves OZ too!! HEHEHE!!! :wickedwitch

Allergies are getting better....I have tried it all girls....thanks for all the suggestions....just seems as for the meds...they all have something in them that doesn't agree with me one way or another...but it's the sleeping thing that gets to me the most, since I don't sleep much anyway!! It it's not that it makes me sick at my stomach, or something...

I usually am not bothered so bad, until this past year....

As for the 900#s...not sure why I keep getting these ads (stuff like music downloads) but I get one every so often...and I think I am going to call my provider and get them blocked....I know you can do that.

Laurie....hope the dentist went okay...I was suppose to go today...no one to keep the kiddos for me....:( I am going to HAVE to take days off for this stuff...and just say TOO BAD...I really am not taking care of ME. YAY for dance...I bet you have missed it!

Andrea...what a pain with the back and forth for the shcool stuff..but remember...it's only for a little while...cause they grow up Quick!!! The ball will be wonderful....and I can't wait to see photos!!

Clara....the money for the outings sound like a great idea for bday presents....you are right...kids have everything now days. I am so happy for you about the house!! Now I need an address so I can mail stuff to ya!! Starting with a CD of photos!!

Trudy.....(((((((HUGS)))))))))) I know you hated to say goodbye..but you do have a FABULOUS trip to look forward to...IKWYM about the feeling sorry for yourself...but like you said...GET UP and do something....and things will get back to normal!!

Meg....Sorry about all the troubles with your DH's job!! That really stinks!! I hope it works out soon and he finds something...and how sweet are you to give him his present early!!!

Chris....Okay...what is this about "too young" for a HS and MS kids??? WHAT ABOUT ME??? I am WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too young for 4 grandkids....but............I love it!!! Those two...Scott and his "BFF" ~cough~ are cute together...I can just see them how they act around one another!! Good news that the test showed nothing for the cat....hope you can figure him out...I can't offer advice here...sorry...

OK... so The Hubs seems to be doing a little bit better. I think giving him his birthday gift made him feel better :) I know he hates his current job -- but uh -- last night he had to babysit a very drunk former American Idol winner. If he had gotten the other job, he would never get to say that :)

Now on to me :) Today I'm working on finishing up some website designs for clients & the hubs' website. Then this evening I'm going to a "pearl party" at my aunt-in-laws. The pearls are super cheap, because they come from a country where they're basically thrown away. The jewelry is made by persecuted Christians living under house arrest or in hiding, then these missionaries buy the jewelry from them to sell over here so they can keep coming back to serve them. I'm excited because I don't really have any pearls :)

hey y'all! quickie from me today... i ate myself into a sugar coma on powdered sugar donuts yesterday - yay PMS. but i think i needed it, cuz i woke up all inspired today and decided to rope Amanda and Liz into doing some form of collab project with me - WOOT! Now, i'm rushing out the door to go to the hubby's 40th birhtday lunch with his co-workers.

Morning everyone... TGIF!! Just a quick pass by for me today, I am out the door to pick more blackberries, hopefully this is the last time. I should have enough after today to make at least 3 batches of Blackberry Jelly and 3 or 4 pies. Yummmmm!! I now have scratches all over my arms and hands from the darn thorns, but oh so worth it!!
Chris - Wow kiddos are growing up!! Yes you are too young to have kids that old and I am also too young to have two grandkids ( yikes Linda has 4 grandkids, how old does that make her????) :heh:

Oh they are all still here! I need to get moving this weekend or you will be passing me before I get to 20,000! I'm conceding the race...I just want to cross the 20,000 mark in the lead! Off to the gallery.
