Its Friday!! Yahooo-ey!! However, as always I am not sure WTH the difference is to me, especially during the summer. All of my days seem pretty much the same. Either I clean someone else's house or I am catching up cleaning my own! LOL

I am off to my mom's in a few minutes. We are going to do the garage sale today and see what happens with the weather this afternoon and tomorrow. But we decided it made more sense for me to go home tonight and not worry about coming back down tomorrow. Which is good, because I am not feeling so hot and two days of dealing with people trying to have me sell everything for $1 will make me cranky. I go into sales with the attitude of just getting rid of stuff. But if I have something worthwhile marked at $5, no, I am not going to take $1. Or you come up with a bag full of clothes for $1? Seriously? I had one lady tell me that a Baby Gap 2 piece dress with matching tights and headband for $1 was over-priced LOL

oh god I am *already* getting aggravated.... and I haven't even left my house yet!!! :rofl:

morning O fam - I took today off and I am going to ride around with my husband as he does his job- love watching someone else work! Will be heading to Amish country so I will take my camera!
 
Super quick personals:

Trudy- enjoy the rest of the time with DD, the days sound lovely!!

P- It really does come down to the little things in life, right?? Just watching the cubs interact with mama and each other- made me enjoy how life is really supposed to be. bears/kids are supposed to be able to play and scamper outside and snuggle with moms without fear or hunger or worry. I know mytree-huggy-ness is coming out but sometimes (ok, many times) I think that animal kingdom has it right and humans have really messed so much up. But seeing the bears gave me hope and a lighter heart.

You must get streaming netflix. We can't live without it. We watch so many more movies together then we had when we either renetd them at blockbuster or when we had HBO etc. We watched an old Marty Feldman movie (Last Remake of Beau Gente) the other night and it was hysterical. Never would have picked it out but it was fun.
Its a life saver too for Gary since he spends so much time on the sofa- lots of documentaries (he loves alien stuff LOL) and sitcoms and b/w's.....

Anyway, my quick reply turned way to long.

Good morning ladies. Get your cup of java...'cuz I'm ready to unload my drama.

So, finally got the numbers on the closings yesterday so that I could run to the bank and get cashiers checks. The first HUD had us coming out $5,000 short...because the closer took the correct payoff on our mortgage and then carried it down two lines and made a typo...then carried the number with the typo forward. Can't anyone just do their job. After finding that and sending it back for correction, everything was looking good. So, last night at 7, get a phone call that the VA (who holds the note on the property we are buying) didn't get the warranty to our closer. No problem on the title...completely clear...just didn't get it accomplished...the idiots! They are in DC. So we aren't closing today, although all of the services are to be transferred to the new house and the movers are coming...etc, etc. Oh well...I told them if we couldn't close today to push it out a week...not going through this roller coaster daily! And feeling quite bad for the person buying our home...but fortunately we sold it with a home of choice clause and we only sell if we can move to our new home. Let's see...what smiley's to use...

Okay.....I am going to try my best to do my house cleaning today....Mom is picking up the two kiddos this afternoon to see Traci...and she said she would keep them tonight...she really really has been pushing herself to help me this Summer!!!! I just love that woman!!! my Dad too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told her she needed to settle a bit and give herself some rest....starting week after next I am going to go over and clean for her one day a week.... but after she picks them up, we are taking Cameran to see Paranorman!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I have been dying for this one to come out!! HAHA!! I AM SUCH A KID!!!

Then maybe...just maybe...Mike and I will have some time together tomorrow before we go get the kids.....:clap2::clap2:

Ah Trudy...how bittersweet that the wonderful time with DD is drawing to a close. Hope that the time on the river was fun... Definitely going to feel like a totally different place for you next week.

Laurie, enjoy the day with the camera and the hubby! Bet you get some beautiful shots in Amana land.

Chris, loved the bear photos. I remember as a kid when we travelled to Yellowstone and everyone said it was the best year for wildlife. We saw lots of bears. But nothing as good as what you saw yesterday. And, then of course, they moved all of the bears to the back of the park so they wouldn't maul the stupid tourists who apparently thought that they were dogs... (ok...must not have all of my grouchiness out yet)

And, this morning, I realized why you are such a great mom and nana...because of the example of your mom. When you see her today, give her ((hugs)) from Iowa...because women like that are special. And then have Mike give you some extra ((hugs)) too. :-)

We need to go car shopping. the time has come and it is either put money into the current one which really has been on it's last miles for a long time or bite the bullet and buy a new one..........I know which direction I want to 'travel!'............BTW, have you checked out the new AnnaLift this morning to see who we are 'copying!' Yep, shameless plug on my part!

hiya. crappy night's sleep last night. i had to set my alarm for 6:15 because i had an early Dr.'s appointment, and when i set my clock, i also set something inside my head that keeps waking me up saying: "is it time to wake up yet???" it says that to me about every hour when i'm SUPPOSED to be sleeping. so. crabbygirl today. Chris, want me to come work the sale? i volunteer to smack anyone who wants to buy something of yours for $1....

Laurie, have fun tagging along! sounds like a relaxing day. is this Friday off part of your new schedule? i have Hubby home today. he's trying to use his vacation time and keeps taking Fridays off. when he does that, it messes me up, because i end up thinking that Friday is Saturday!

dunno what i'm doing today. i might go walk around the mall just to get out of the house for a bit.

Morning ladies... Hot, Hot day here today and then they say maybe T-Storms on Sunday. Hopefully not, they will only cause forest fires, its tinder dry here!! Off to the river today after I quickly do the cash balancing and deposit for the store. Then I will pay for my nice short hrs next week with full time every day except Tuesday. :mmph: Oh well hopefully the week after that I will be back to my 4 hr shifts again.

Chris - Good luck with the garage sale, hope you make lots of $$!! Don't people frustrate you!! Everyone wants something for nothing! Don't worry about the cleaning, like "P" says it will be there tomorrow. BTW loved your bear photos, so nice to see nature, you are right, us humans have it all screwed up!!!

Laurie - enjoy your day with your hubby, be the countryside will be beautiful!!

LindaS - Oh the drama of moving!!! I've done it at least a dozen times and not once has anything gone smoothly!! :rant: Don't thing anyone cares about doing their job properly anymore! Hope you get moved in soon!! :hug: Sounds like you could use that bottle that Nana Linda has sent to you!!

Phylis - Sorry you had such a crappy sleep! Its been cooler here at night so I have been sleeping like a baby, DD has kept me so busy that I'm worn out by the time bed time comes around! Maybe you should go and take your frustrations out on Chris's paying customers at the garage sale!! :boxing:
