Why do weekends go so fast, or why does it stink having to wake up with an alarm? Phooey. I am so tired.

Something is stirring up Lyme-wise and I haven't changed anything, medication-wise. But over the last few days, my fatigue is increasing as well as my joint pain. That had been pretty decent for the last month or so and now. :boom:

I had even told my LLMD what, less than 2 weeks ago that pain levels were way down. Now my fingers, hips, and ankle are inflamed and ankle is all gushy and swollen. Today I start Tindamax so it will be "interesting" to see what happens.

I was able to get a bit of housework and week-prep yesterday. Gary and Scott put some Xmas money together and bought a small folding pool table and the 4 of us played a game or two of that. (I am really bad!). I started to scrap a LO for the Quote Challenge but I didn't finish it. Gary watched the Super Bowl and I (tried) to crochet some boot cuffs. Bad at that too, hahaha!!!!!

I am off to the supermarket today and then over to Sears on the way home to get the paint for the DR. We decided on a sage green which will make the room look a bit softer.I will need to get that started today since it is going to take a lot of work to get it going and I have to move the tiny cabinet that has my china in it. I wonder if I should pack it away? I never use it. hmm.

I hope that everyone has a great day and that the sun is shining wherever you are! Unless it is night time. Then maybe the moon can shine for you :D

From Sunday:

Rae- what a crazy snowstorm and all of the after effects. no power, Darrell's back, and your achiness. Boo hiss to all of that. I hope that all of you are feeling better today. It is supposed to warm up a bit this week? Hope so. What the heck? More computer issues for you? Ack!!!!

Nancy- what did you win from the pool? And WTG devils on a good win. Must have been a fun night. You will get a kick out reading about places that you know/heard of. At one point they were talking about sending an inmate to an Asylum on Morris Places and I immediately knew they were talking about Greystone. In the Author's Notes at the end, she talks about the asylum which was later named-- Greystone :)

Trudy- how much snow have you gotten all totaled? I am sorry that your brother had to cancel your visit but better safe than sorry. Did the fight get off ok today?
Nope, no snacks or anything like that, just plain old TV. We used to do more for it, but it is just another night. feel better!!!

xoxoxo!!!!

Good morning well very late morning - Luther is resting after a busy weekend. We got him out on a late evening walk before the Super Bowl game. It was cold but not freezing and he had a great time running. Met dogs and he was happy to say hello. The Super Bowl was shocking. I feel very bad for the Falcons. My Devils have had those horrible losses and they came back to win 3 Cups so I hope the Falcon learn from this. Did not get any scrapping done. Today I got the puppies to Lorrie. My son and DIL worked with them this weekend so that was awesome. My DIL was so surprised at how well the puppies did on command. She is really doing this so that is great! My DH is starting to do it too. He had Luther training in the house and he was shocked that Luther would do it for him. Luther is a smart dog so I was not surprised. More surprised that my DH did this! We have a Devils hockey game tonight against Buffalo. Then nothing as the Devils have their mandatory 5 days off. Not practices or anything. Hoping they go out on a win!

Chris sorry you are not feeling so good. Sucks when joints hurt! I won a T-shirt, an autographed photo, a travel mug, and ornament and a mini banner of Brodeur's retirement. Not bad. Hope grocery shopping goes well. Yesterday I went for a quick trip to the store. I knew I did not need much as my son made ribs and gave us a whole rack.

Trudy loved the photos on Facebook of your snow. It was really pretty! Our weather shows more storms headed for you and Rae. We are to get rain and 60 F on Wed. weird weather.
Hope you got your trip on the ferry to see family!

Rae glad you got your power back so fast. After the hurricanes of a few years ago our power company has it all automated even with when the repair should be completed. 10 inches wow that is a lot. But I bet it must have been so fun seeing the dogs in the snow!

Hope all have a great day!

Good morning, ladies. I've had a coffee, showered, dressed and now will take the dogs out for 20 minutes of play in the snow along the river before coming back to start work. We got a few more inches last night so it's a good thing I shovelled again yesterday afternoon and now I'll need to shovel again around lunch time. The next storm hits today and we'll get another 5-7" by tomorrow. Taz is having a hard time getting through the snow now, even with his long legs. In the backyard it's about 10-12" deep. Hope I can get down the few side roads to the main road to get Ava home at lunch time today.

Chris - sorry to hear you're having swelling and soreness today. Hope the inflammation subsides quickly. Don't overdo it today (I know, easier said than done).

Trudy - trip cancelled? If so, I'm not surprised.

Nancy - Luther sure is a smart dog (Shepherds are know to be) and you've done such a great job as a doggie parent.

I'm heading out now before the snow starts up. Right now everything is covered in white and looks so pretty. I'll take a few pics along the way too (just phone pics today).

Have a great day, everyone.

Morning O-zies!! OMG it is snowing again!! More shovelling when DH get home, I am not feeling well so I am not going anywhere today. Except maybe back to bed for a bit. Darn I was doing so well not getting the flu from he kids and grand kids. Then DH was so sick and I seemed to be able to avoid that also. Tired, achiness, horrible wheezy cough, YUCK!! Oh well with the weather the way it is, I wouldn't be going anywhere anyway.

Chris - NOOOO not a lyme flairup!! you were doing so well! I would say that all totalled we have over a foot of snow on the ground. Now it is snowing again and we are expecting to get another couple of inches. :gaah: enough with the snow already!! We shovelled the driveway more this year than over the past 10 years put together LOL. We had to shovel off the patios too, the snow was so heavy, now we will have to do it all over again. I watch some of our neighbours who refuse to shovel their driveways (guess they think it will all melt away soon lol) then they can't figure out how come they get stuck in their driveways  I hope you find the paint colour you like and get your painting done!

Nancy - Yes the Falcons must be devastated! We were shocked at the end of the game also, what a heartbreaker! My SIL will be in a bad mood for a long time!! My poor DD she will have to put up with his bad mood too LOL! We did not even txt him last night, thought better of it :becky: Did not make it over to the Mainland on the ferry, brother was not comfortable driving the snowmagedon we are having and over on the Mainland where the traffic is already bad, he was very worried about it. So far as I know they made it over later on in the evening and are catching their plane this morning so long as its not grounded.

Rae - I bet you are busy with your work today, hopefully your power is not out. Lots of outages over here, but not our area so far. Love your photos on Facebook with Taz in the snow, he is having so much fun!

Hoping to talk with DD and Mason today, before I head back to bed for a bit. I am feeling crappy and need to lie down soon. Have a great day everyone and stay healthy!!

Sun back today and above freezing! Still plenty of snow on the ground though. I was really sad the Falcons had to lose. Happy though to see Lady Gaga and "Einstein" playing her music on the violin was cute.

Chris, oh no! Not a Lyme flare up. Hope it lets up as I know you really have been feeling better. Fingers crossed on this. Sage green sound really nice for the DR but don't do too much. (Yeah, right!)

Nancy, lots of nice loot from the game watching party! Really nice outcome against the Blue Jackets (still can't muster being a fan of theirs.) Hope they do well tonight.

Rae, know you're hard at work. Sorry you're having so much snow to shovel. If Taz has trouble getting through it has to be really deep.

Trudy, sure hope you went back to sleep and woke feeling better. It was so great you got through the sickness of others fine. Hope this isn't long lasting. And don't shovel too much of that snow!

Hope it's a good one for all.

After a weekend of hip pain (arthritis I suspect) I am feeling better. Saturday I managed, but Sunday I was in alot of pain and ended up taking pain meds. At least the back hasn't flared up. I go to an accupuncturist, which is working, but it is $85 per session and I end up going every 3 weeks. That gets expensive to move it up to 2 weeks.

Hope everyone has a great day or night!
