Good morning, O-Fam! I hope that everyone is all snuggled in and feeling relaxed and cozy today. I am wearing my fuzzy-fleece lined sweats and am wrapped in a shawl that I got from Five Below. It has to be the best 5 bucks I have spent on myself in a long time LOL
Even though the weather was disgusting yesterday I feel like I dealt with it all ok. No one had to go anywhere and I ended up making a bunch of banana bread. It was that kind of a day, IYKWIM.
I called the electric company who is trying to get in touch with the county but still no news yet. I hope something is figured out by next week when the bill is due, yikes. :(
Caitlyn decided to wait a while longer for Cordelia. I was teasing that if you cut her in half it is like two different rats. The back end is old and worn down but the front is totally perfect. Jaida's staples are all still where they need to be and she doesn't mind the donut at all. She seems to like having a built-in neck pillow. Who could blame her?

I started to scrap a page yesterday but ended up getting a bit stuck so that is something I am working on today. I was planning on going to the Food Pantry this morning, but everything is covered in ice. I don't need anything specific so I think I might not worry about that. Cait has a bunch of schoolwork so it will be better for her to not make the trip with me. I always tell her she doesn't have to but she likes going and I like having time to chat.
Scott has a training session at the ecology center this afternoon, hope it is inside since the wind is howling out there.

Wishing everyone a terrific day and weekend!

@LSlycord You are a good mom to spend three hours cooking with Shaun. Gotta agree- touching any raw meat makes me gag. I hope that he tries an easier dish the next time he cooks, you don't want him to be scared out of the kitchen. Gary screwed up a box of Stove Top when Scott was a newborn and used that as an excuse to not cook for *decades* Bwuahahahah!!
So is it official that you are keeping Decker??? :D
*puts on nagging mama hat* Why are you always saying that you aren't a good scrapper/have a lot to learn? Your LOs are always fantastic!!
*realizes I am the pot calling the kettle black in this instance*
Ooops:oops: But it is true, you are such a talented and creative scrapper. And maybe (just maybe) I don't totally stink at clustering *wink*

@BrightEyes I love the new siggie!! So pretty!! Is it going to be any warmer today? Not here and I wish I had another pair of these fuzzy sweatpants.
It sounds very selfish but another reason *I* am glad Scott is taking the job in town is that we have three cars and four adults so if Gary or I need a second car, we can drop him off and pick him up and use his car for the day. But mostly I am happy that he has a foot in the door with the County and who knows what will happen this year with the budget, maybe the naturalist position will be available?

@mom2triplets04 I scrolled down and saw your Vision Board, I love it, it has such energy and positivity!!
Poor Myla! I am glad that she is OK. How was the weather by you, did you end up with lots of ice as well?

@tjscraps The scar itself is hardly noticeable but I guess the scar tissue is what is causing the tightness? It probably feels strange but I would imagine that will ease as it heals. yay for getting your hair done, that will definitely make you feel brighter and lighter!
PS: You don't look like you have any grey!

@Cherylndesigns Isn't that the pits about benefits? I know so many people who take jobs just for the benefits. Or stay at a job they hate to keep benefits. :/
(Amazon rant: I can't believe that they are increasing the Prime subscription rate while Bezos is building a superyacht and still cannot pay his workers a living wage!!)
Good to hear that the temps are going back up in OK. We still have a few more days of frigid, but I *think* we should be above freezing later this week. pleasepleaseplease!
I am laughing at the g-kids running all over the property, having a blast! To be young... :D
ITA- Trina's eyes will always capture your attention first.

@bcgal00 I saw so many of your LOs on FB, made my heart smile and then twinge a bit. More than a bit when I saw the one of B. Sending hugs to you. I can't imagine how difficult all of this is...
I am crossing every body part and then some that the bids come in and you get a fab price on your house.
Scott is doing--OK. He has moments of really missing her and incredible anger and her and Ian. Last week was difficult for everyone for some reason, I think maybe the numbness is wearing off and the realization that this forever is sinking in? He was on the phone with his boss at the ecology center and she said something about his longtime GF and all he could say was... "yeah about that... uh...I have a story to tell you someday."

@scrap-genie that photo of the Mexican Team is awesome, I love the costumes. The only thing that would make it better is if their face masks were also skulls. (That might be too over the top for normal people though hee hee) TFS!
Hope the weather cooperates this weekend!

Good morning. I had the interview late yesterday afternoon...didn't end until 4 so I didn't expect to hear anything but I thought that it went really well. Then my recruiter called at 5:15 and said that I will get an offer on Monday. They knew my rate going into this so I don't expect any big surprise. And, I think that I'll be back to work in March. Fingers crossed because you know how things go. But I think that I would like this job...liked the guy that would be my boss and liked the co-worker that participated in the interview.

At this point, I would say that it is likely that we are now a 3 dog family. All of the dogs were out on the lanai with us while we had our coffee and Hayden was a little bit annoying with Decker. Andie jumped off the sofa and got in between Hayden and Decker and kind of wrestled with Hayden, redirecting her. When I tell you that Andie is the best, she really and truly is! We actually all went out to supper last night and Decker stayed in the pocket office and the girls stayed upstairs in our bedroom and when we got home, we didn't hear any barking at all so that was a good test.

Got to go to the jewelers to pick up my ring. It just broke one day at the grocery store. The gold just broke. I've been wearing that ring for 30+ years so very glad that it didn't fall off. Anyway, they had to put on a new shank so it has taken several weeks. So Brian and I are driving down to get it. It's a 30 minute drive but in a very neat (and expensive) area of Jacksonville near the river and I think that Brian will enjoy it.

I'll be back in later this morning once we have completed errands.

Another cold day... glad I slept in until 7:30AM. 12* is COLD. The snow on the northside of the house is still there... along with patches of ice on the patio where the snow has been slowly melting. Glad the street side of the house faces south as the sun melted the all the snow on the driveway and sidewalks. Poor neighbors across the street had to shovel the snow off the driveways. And they still have large patches of snow/ice. Heard on the news yesterday that the temp at 5AM was -3* at the private airport about 5 miles from here. BRRRR!!! Definitely time for long johns and heavy sweatpants and lots of layers. I need to go pick up mail from the neighborhood bank of PO boxes this afternoon. Haven't done that since Tuesday.

Yesterday was a very GOOD DAY! Got a text from Les saying "I'm home!" in the afternoon. She is out of rehab!!! Her hubby is taking time off to be with her until she is better and to give him more time to recover, too. Will have home health nurses coming in along with PT people. It has been a long stressful month for them.

My niece came over yesterday for her last visit before she leaves tomorrow. It was wonderful having her here although we only got to visit 3 times due to the storm. Looks like the roads will be okay for her drive to my sister's in TX tomorrow. She'll spend a few days there then head on to Oklahoma. Hopefully the roads will be clear then.

Going to do some cleaning this weekend and get ready for the Red Hat gals lunch here on Tuesday. It is a brown bag lunch so not a lot to do for it. It will be our chapter's 1st official gathering since I registered our new chapter.

I need to sit down and fill out some of the Tax questionnaire papers this next week as I have an appt with my tax gal in 2 weeks. Like to get it done and over with early in the year.

Someone was trying to figure out who was who in my Our Family LO.

On the left side is Bill - going down and around the corner is DD#1 - Debbie, DD#2 - Leslie, and DD#3 - Chari. On the right side - going down is DS#1 - Jim, DS#2 - Jeff and me . With smaller photos of each of them and photos of Bill with the boys and me with the girls. Yes, the photos were taken a (mumble, mumble) years ago before my hair started going gray (4 years ago).

Ah, the house is finally warm enough so I can take my shower. Back later to do personals.

Good Morning everyone and Happy Saturday to you all! I think that we will be seeing some sunshine today, so that is nice! Yesterday I was totally MIA from here. I got my grocery shopping done in the morning and then spent the rest of the day making home made cream of chicken and rice soup to take up to the In-Laws today. I also got a Tuna Casserole done for them and made a guacamole dish for us all to snack on while we have a visit. I had lots of very ripe Avocado and that is something that DH and I can have so will use some keto crackers for dipping for us and something else for MIL and FIL. DH spent the better part of the day making a storage rack for my ink pads in the craft room. He converted an old CD holder tower which we have two of and mounted it on the wall. I labeled all of the ink pads and filled it up in no time LOL. Now he needs to get the second done for me. Yup I have lots of ink pads!! I even went through some very old ones and chucked a bunch out. I do love to have everything organized and neat and tidy!! So we have a few errands to run today and then we are off to visit the In-Laws. It has been a while since we have been up there, so I imagine there will be a few jobs to get done for them.

@faerywings - Sending lots of love out to Cordelia and Caitlyn hard for her I am sure! You sound like you are keeping cozy and warm this morning! Good idea to not go out anywhere today, darn ice everywhere, that is the worst!! I bet your house smelled so good while you were baking your banana bread!! Such a heavenly smell! Hope Scott is safe inside while he has his Training session, he must be happy to be back at work! Hope you get to finish off your page today, looks like I will not be doing any scrapping until the weekend is over LOL.

@LSlycord - Sounds like you are going to be a Three Dog Family!! I think we all knew that was going to happen LOL. So glad that you get to pick up your ring today! The same thing happened to my Mother, she was doing something in the kitchen (most likely cooking) and her ring just broke in half, guess gold wears out too. Hope you have a nice drive through the ritzy neighbourhood!

@BrightEyes - Love your new siggie!! You are so talented! The layout is the perfect way to show us just who is who in your family! Great photos!! How nice to be getting together with your Red Hat ladies again!! It's been a while hasn't it??

@scrap-genie - I love the Mexican team's jackets, so cool. Canada's are kind of boring, but burgundy this year instead of Red. Was good to see all that winter fashion! Hope your weather has improved!

Well I need to get to the shower and get all the food ready to go, also taking up the rest of the cheese cake for MIL and FIL which I froze the other day because it was such a big cake. It sure is delicious though and I can't wait to have another piece today! I hope that everyone has a great day and I will try to be better at catching up soon!

Good morning ladies. I finally was able to post the LOs I had previously done, some with Bailey's photos and it made me smile but it really hurt too. D was out playing poker with the guys so I got to feel the feels all by myself, privately, and it was good for me. I won't scrap with her photos for awhile but am feeling good about scrapping again. I did Vicki Robinson's Feb challenge and enjoyed that. I'm still feeling sluggish and numb but am pushing through it and trying to get back to a more normal routine.

There are a lot of groups coming today to see the house so we'll be out of here for about 3 hrs while the realtor shows it. We'll go look at vehicles. I want to buy something here before we move b/c the prices are higher in Kamloops. I'm sure D will want to go for lunch somewhere too. I need to start eating healthy again, my stomach is not feeling great, too much junk, too much sugar and fat. So that will be my focus this coming week, get back to healthy eating. I need to start using up food from the freezers so there is less to pack up when we move. With 2 freezers and 2 fridge freezers, there is a lot and I don't want to have to buy tons of coolers to transport them.

@faerywings Poor S, give him a hug from me. I understand about C holding off on making a decision, sounds like there is time to do that.
@LSlycord 3 dogs is good. I'm happy that my daughter and Bella will be sharing a house with us. Seeing the 3 dogs together makes me happy. The pups play more and give my old guy Taz a rest and then seeing them all cuddle together is so heartwarming. The more dogs the better :)
@BrightEyes 12 sure is colder than I'm used to...brrr. We'll have to get used to hotter summers and colder winters once we move but we'll get used to it, I'm sure. I am looking for a more insulated winter jacket though for the really cold months. I don't think my coats will be warm enough.

I'm getting a coffee and then tidying up before everyone comes later. Wish us luck. Hopefully this wkend attracts another interested buyer to start a bidding war on Tues. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning gals,

I'm on here early, for me. Didn't sleep worth a darn last night - I was just unable to go to sleep. I finally went to sleep in the wee hours and ended up getting up about 9:30.

Kay @BrightEyes that's wonderful news about Leslie!!! I know you're SO relieved and thankful that she's home!! You've been busy with your niece and now the Red Hat Ladies are coming - lots to look forward to We still have snow on the ground, but it's 32 right now, going up to 45. Only 2 or 3 more cold days, then it starts to warm up. Everybody is moving around again, so I guess our roads are ok. The country roads are the slickest - they all went into town last evening and said it was okay.

Chris, I did not know that Jeffy was raising prime!!!!! Ya, poor guy - he has enough money - which he made from all of us peons - to go up in space, but can't pay his people. He just irks me to no end. Have you seen him lately? He's "buffed up" almost overnight. Surgery, maybe????? He had pecks and the whole works and did not have that body before. He has plenty of money to spend on re-making his body now, too. I'll tell you what - I'm dropping what I can. I wanted to get audio and I refused to do it through him or a couple of the others, who defaulted to him. He owns everything. Scrib'd wasn't part of his empire, so I went with them. I wish we had a decent library here but we don't. I had audio books through our library in the big county I lived in - in FL. You had to wait on some of the books, that was the only drawback. Stepping down now. Nope - coming back up - I'm really cutting back on ordering from them. If I can get it anywhere else, I do it.

Linda @LSlycord sounds like you're definitely a 3 dog family. It's okay as long as they get along. The job sounds good - I know you're excited.

I'm going to get off of here and see what else I need to do. Happy Saturday and I hope everybody has a good and warm weekend.

Well the weather was cold this morning so I couldn't attend my WW meeting which I am a lifetime member and have to weigh in once a month. I'm over lifetime goal weight so I'm struggling to lose 5 pounds but they offered a zoom meeting so I did that with Myla wanting to go outside so I was a bit distracted. I like to go to the meeting just to be alone from the dog! LOL. We are celebrating my father-in-law birthday so we are leaving soon for lunch. Used my 25% coupon last night. I got a calendar and a Nov and Dec kit. I have to limit my spending as hubby is getting mad as I'm not working so I have to limit my budget. Hopefully I will be able to use it for the challenges.

@Cherylndesigns @bcgal00 @faerywings Thank you ladies! It's hard to be self conscious when something changes, actually for the good or bad! When I lost a lot of weight a couple years ago I was very self conscious about that as well. I have been putting scar cream on it and trying to massage it to get the raised bits to go down.

@bcgal00 I hope you get a bidding war and that all the cleaning up is worth it and you get what you want for your place!

We have these 'Freedom convoys' going on here in Alberta right now that make me cringe and I got stuck behind one while going into the city to get Kaitlyn her birthday Starbucks (she's 14 today!). Some days I truly wonder why I live where I do, I do not think the same way as most of the people that live here - I'm not nearly redneck enough.

Good evening! Just a quick pop in to say we weathered the stormed without losing power. Hooray! It has, however, been bitterly cold - in the teens - yesterday and overnight, still in the twenties where it has been all day. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow, into the 40s. That will be a welcome change and help my power bill!

@tjscraps Did your doctor give you any information on wound care to help that tightness? If not, when I had my knees done the first time, I was told as soon as the stitches came out to start this little exercise: beginning with your two weakest fingers on your off hand, at least 3 times a day, pat the scar, starting out lightly then moving up to harder until it's almost painful, then stop. Increase the pressure daily until the scar is no longer painful. That enables you to do the second part more comfortably. During those three daily sessions, using medical grade cocoa butter (or AquaPhor or a similar product), rub your thumb over the surface of the cocoa butter until you have enough built up to spread over the entire scar. Then, using your thumb, gently massage it in first clockwise, then counterclockwise until the cocoa butter is rubbed in. It will still be oily, like lotion sometimes is, but will be absorbed. As with the patting, increase the pressure gently day by day. Make sure to keep it pretty gentle until the incision is well healed. This breaks up the keloids around the scar so the skin doesn't fasten itself to the deeper layers of your dermis and softens up the scrap, making it supple and flexible. When I had my thyroid surgery, I couldn't stand anything to touch the scar, it was like being electrocuted if anything touched that part of my neck. After three weeks, it was mostly done. Sadly some of the scar tissue didn't break away immediately and I've had some sticking since, but I'm now 40 years out and the scar can hardly be seen because of that therapy and there is no tightness to contend with. I also did this when I had knee replacement surgery in 2008 and 2011. You have to know what you're looking at to even see the scars. My boyfriend at the time was a physical therapy tech at the Air Force hospital at Lakenheath, England. Marty was the one that taught me this, just like they did all the patients in the PT clinic. It really works - and makes your hands nice and soft, too!

@bcgal00 Glad you're doing better, Rae. It's nice to see your sweet, smiling face!

Got to run.

Hey there, Happy Sunday!
Hope everyone is doing great. I am trying really hard to keep my head in the game. Yes, it is really cold (9*) but the sun is out today. I didn't sleep all that well last night but my mood is improving as I am making sure I sit in front of the therapy light every darn day. I spent another hour looking into therapists and I made an account at Talkspace and emailed a therapist who does sliding scale payments. I am still not sure what to do, the expense is going to be a *lot*- *shrugs*
I can't remember who shared this but if anyone remembers, can you let me know so I can search for it again... There was a therapist on YouTube giving little talks on how to do some self-help. I thought tI had bookmarked it but I can't find it now.

I puttered around the house, finished the scrap page I had been working on, and tried to stay warm. I think today is going to be more of the same with the addition of working my food shopping order. And dinner tonight. What should I make for dinner?? *eye roll*

Anyway, I hope everyone is relaxing as best they can.
Hugs!!

@LSlycord Congrats!!!! You got it, fingers are crossed that the job all falls into place for you tomorrow. It sounds very promising.
Wow. I am shocked. Shocked that you are keeping Decker. [Narrator voice: No, she was not actually shocked.] Andie is a good girl, she will keep the other 2 in line :D

@BrightEyes Do you ever feel like you are never going got get warm again?? I do! My mom said that all of the snow and ice is melted at her house but we are still covered up here, with the exception of the grass over the septic tank heh. Every day brings us closer to spring.
What great news about Leslie!!! I bet she is soooo happy to be back home too. Good healing thoughts to her.
Thanks for the info on your LO and kids. It's nice to be about to put names to faces.

@taxed4ever Yum, the soup sounds so good. I used to make a chicken and wild rice soup but Scott decided a while ago he doesn't like soup. At all. It was a PITA to make just for me and Gary. I bet your ILs enjoyed it. Did you have a nice visit with them? Is FIL any closer to giving up driving? (of course not!)
That is such a smart idea to convert the CD rack into ink storage.

@bcgal00 Hugs to you, you are right, it is good to get the feels out in your own time and space. I know you want to push through but I am happy that you are also taking the time to process and grieve.
Any more potential offers on the house? I hope that more groups come today and lots of offers come on Tuesday.
I'll pass the hugs along to Scott. TY!

@Cherylndesigns I knew you would understand my Amazon rant. I hate that we are psychologically chained to it. I'm proud of you for trying to get things elsewhere. Before Covid, I tried to shop local as much as I could, maybe this spring I can get back to that again. Hope you slept better last night (sorry if I am still "contaging" you LOL)

@mom2triplets04 That stinks that you couldn't;t go to your WW meeting, it has to feel good to get out and see people. Just not when it is in single digits!
Looking forward to seeing what you bought with your coupon!

@tjscraps I can tell you that you have no reason to be self-conscious over how you look (you truly do not!) but I also know that it doesn't always work that way *wink*
Happy birthday to Kaitlyn! (feels weird to type that with a K instead of a C LOL)

@Susan - s3js That is fab news that your power stayed on.
I was going to suggest that technique to Trina too but then I wasn't sure if it was still done. (I like to pretend I am a Dr on TV, also a lawyer, hairstylist, and so on bwahaha!) I am prone to keloids so I tried to stay on top of it.
Fun fact: Lyme bacteria likes to stick in scar tissue and when I would get a flare, every deep scar I have would hurt all over again.
Hope that today is warmer and sunny for you :)

love to all of you!!

Good morning. Where did yesterday go? I truly don't know. How does this happen? Picked up my ring, got some groceries...and that was it! Hmmm...not very productive sounding.

@faerywings I do think each day that we have Decker, it definitely becomes more likely that he is ours forever. Thanks for the encouragement on the scrapping. Glad that Cait is spending some time thinking about what to do with Cordelia. Such a hard decision always.

@bcgal00 thanks for the encouragement on the three dogs. Honestly, Hayden and Decker have similar energy levels so they do enjoy each other. They get too wound up right now but it gets better each day. I can see where having Jenn and all of the dogs together will be really good in the new move. Are you getting antsy about hearing your bids? Have you been looking at future homes in Kamloops? Very good idea about getting freezers cleaned out. And so happy that you are back to scrapping!

@Susan - s3js so glad that you made it through without a loss of power. Getting closer to being done with this awful winter...not awful for me but certainly awful for many of you.

@tjscraps the scars really do not seem nearly as bad as they seem to you. But I hope that it continues to show progress and the tightness eases up.

@Cherylndesigns I slept great last night but the two previous nights I was wide awake. That happened all of the time but recently has stopped. I hope that it isn't the thought of working that has caused it. LOL

@taxed4ever we really did enjoy the drive around the neighborhood. The homes are old and big and huge. Then a few blocks away not quite so big but still nice old homes. We still have so much to learn about Jacksonville and northeast Florida.

@BrightEyes I am so glad that you shared who was who in that family photo! I really had wondered when I looked at it. Your kids are all very good looking...even if it was a "few" years ago!

@mom2triplets04 sorry about missing the meeting. Sometimes losing 5 pounds is really the hardest thing to do. It seems like it's not that much so it's hard to get focused. Especially in the cold.

Ok...didn't make it to the gallery at all yesterday. Think I'll go spend a little time there before I tackle the "to do" list.

Good morning ladies... It is so darn foggy out there again today mmph!! I am so sick of all this foggy weather!! I can't even see the bottom of our hill!! Thank goodness it was a partially sunny day yesterday and we had a lovely drive to MIL and FIL's! A great visit with them and MIL got all teary eyed when she saw all the food that I brought to them. They planned on having the Tuna Casserole that night for dinner. Hopefully they enjoy the soup today. There was enough for a few days so it is good to know that MIL won't have to cook much this coming week! On the drive home we saw 5 very large elk on the side of the road, had to slow almost to a stop as you never know when they will decide to just step right out in front of the car!! They are majestic looking animals but not the brightest LOL. If you ever were in an accident with one it would not turn out well for you or your car. The elk however would probably get up and shake it off LOL. Today is house cleaning and making a few things for DH's morning breakfast. I want to get some valentine cards made for the grands today too. Hopefully they will arrive to them in time! Should probably throw in a few goodies with the cards too. Maybe I can find some sugar free chocolates at the local chocolatier. Maybe one for Grandma and Grandpa too??

@faerywings - Glad that you got to see some sunshine today, but sure wish the temps would warm up for you! Good that you are spending time with the light therapy! Hmmm I seem to think that perhaps it was @tanteva who posted those self help videos??? I could be wrong. Well I can say that FIL will not drive in the dark anymore and was complaining a lot about the cost of fuel, so perhaps will not make too many trips anywhere. They are pretty good about just staying put and usually only venture out when MIL needs her meds re-filled or the pick up some groceries. We hate to tell them that they have wine here that we have bottled for them as that means another trip, but this time we just took it up to them so that's one less trip too. Perhaps we should just plan on continuing to do that!

@bcgal00 - I am glad that you had some time to yourself to let the feelings out! Not good to hold all that inside! (((hugs))). You are so sweet to be putting things aside for me! Looking forward to talking with you and keeping my fingers crossed that the bidding war will be great for your sale!! However also keeping my fingers crossed that you don't have to go through a bidding war for your house in Kamloops!! So nice to see you scrapping again, you pages are always so beautiful!

@LSlycord - How fun to see the old huge houses! Nice that you are still discovering new things about the area that you live in! Bet you are glad to have your ring back on your finger! Yes somedays you wonder where the day went and what the heck you did with it LOL. I think you will all be so happy to have doggy #3 staying with you, sounds like they will all be great friends and bring lots of happiness to your family!

@Cherylndesigns - Yup dam Amazon they got us by the you know whats!! So infuriating, my son refused to have anything to do with them, but then caved in when he really needed something that he could not get anywhere else :( . Hope you had a better sleep last night!

@tjscraps - I know its hard to not be self conscious about your scar, but give it a bit more time and it will soon fade away! Really you are so pretty that none of us really notice it all. Its your beautiful eyes that stand out!

@Susan - s3js - Wow that is great advice for @tjscraps ! I am going to have to save that info for DH when he gets his knee replacement surgeries!

@mom2triplets04 - so glad that you got to use your coupon! Sad that you have to watch your spending, but totally understand that the money is a bit tighter these days for you! Sorry that you had to miss your WW meeting, those last few pounds are the hardest to get rid off aren't they!! I am still working on losing 10lbs, its melting off of my DH but I am stuck at only taking off a couple of pounds for the past few weeks  .

Well I have sat here in front of the computer long enough and better get busy with the house cleaning and the laundry! Have a great Sunday everyone!

@taxed4ever I've been struggling for 20 pounds for the past 18 years since I had the triplets. I've been on Weight watchers on and off since I had them. I did reach lifetime 2 times so I know I can get back down the 20 pounds. But since Covid the 10 pounds has creeped on again. I hate exercising so it's a challenge to get moving.

Well, I searched for bubbles and I had it in the Feb kit I just bought super cool. I just did the sketch challenge using Myla's bath photos.

Morning, all. Just got my 2nd cup of coffee and feeling wide awake. Jumped into getting a challenge LO scrapped early. I fell in love the Dreams collection by Natali so went looking for a photo to go with it. Couldn't believe when I found the one of the gal with night and stars on her face... and in the perfect color!

Glad you all like that I told who was who in the family LO. Have to tell the story about the photos. A friend of Leslie was wanting to become a photographer and asked that we pay for the film and developing as she would be using us as a trial run. Somehow in the different moves Bill and I made after that - the envelope with the photos disappeared. When I was working on Bill's career and memory albums after his death in 2018, I was pulling out boxes of photos and found the envelope with the photos. To say I was excited is an understatement... as they were the last family photos of all of us as a family. The friend did not do any touch-ups on the photos (remove glare on glasses and eyes, stray hair, etc) so I spent time doing that. So glad that now I have software and the skills to do the touch-up work that I didn't have back when the pictures were taken.

Doing a happy dance as the temp just climbed above freezing already. Looks like we will be having warmer weather (40's-low 50's) over the next several days. So glad as I was hoping for good weather on Tuesday when the RH chapter gets together.

@faerywings think that light therapy is helping you. Hope you can find some help to get you through this rough patch. You are a great cheerleader for us with encouraging words and personals for all of us. Thanks.

@LSlycord , like hearing you talk about Jacksonville and your trips around that area. We lived in Jax near NAS Jacksonville many years ago. (Hint: it was before they had any freeways... hahahaha) There is so much history around that area so you are smart to do those trips to learn about it.

@tjscraps I echo what everyone else is saying.... the scar isn't that noticeable and your eyes really standout. DH had skin cancer removed from his face and it healed up to where it was barely noticeable. Bet doing those massages will ease the tightness, too.

@taxed4ever Sorry you are dealing with foggy weather again. You are such a good Daughter-in-law to fix food for the in-laws and try to save them having to drive anywhere. WOW... moose by the road! Must have been quite a sight. And, no... wouldn't want to hit one with a car as it would probability do more damage to the car and driver than the moose.

@Cherylndesigns sure hope you get to feeling better soon. Glad that the weather is clearing up for you. Just getting out to walk around when the sun is out might make your mood better. I know it perked me up to go out to get the mail yesterday with the sun shining.

@bcgal00 I saw the lovely LOs you posted. Glad you were able to do a bit of scrapping. Sending good thoughts for when you get the bids on your house. And hope that you can find a good place in the new town.

@tanteva Are you working this coming week?? I know it can be tiring but bet you like having the extra money it brings in. Have you started a new crocheting project?? I keep thinking I should pull out the unfinished knitted sweater I started a few years ago. I only get the urge to knit during cold weather when I don't mind having it sitting on my lap... get to hot in the summer to do that.

I have been having good food for supper.. thank goodness for what I have tucked away in the freezer. Had enchiladas with guacamole plus apple crisp dessert last night and will have turkey, dressing and gravy tonight. Oh.. just remembered I have 1 slice of pumpkin pie in the freezer! VBG

Good morning ladies. We have to be out of the house this afternoon for realtor showings. Another 8 or more today are coming. So I think that'll put it up to 30+ people this past week. One family is getting an inspector to come tomorrow morning (so will have to be out again) but that is good b/c it means they are serious about buying and want to make sure the foundation, electrical, etc is ok. We don't expect any surprises with that. I really hope we get a bid on Tues that we want to accept and then will go to Kamloops for a few days on Wed or Thurs to look at 3 properties we are interested in and maybe a few more will get listed this wk too. Didn't find any vehicles I was interested in for the price. We have time to keep looking.

I had a hard time scrapping this wkend but I'm glad I did it. It is my "zen" time, it relaxed me, gets me out of my head. It half worked so that is good. I think each time I scrap it'll get easier.

I'd better go, have to tidy up and get the house ready again. Having a great day everyone.

@taxed4ever My spending was out of control. I am not working but I was spending $1,000 in scrapbooking alone monthly. Physical and digital product. My husband said no more! Now, I have like a $300 budget. paper, stickers, notebooks, ink pads, etc can add up.

Thanks for these tips, I will try that! I have been massaging it but kinda haphazardly, I need to do better with a routine.

Good evening, girls.

Been a busy day. Adrienne and Ava have been here most of the day and Roger just stopped in. They finally decided to go out to eat and they're bringing us back something. It's still ice underfoot - being out and about, but our snow is gone. Roger's been in Tulsa all day at his parents' house and had to go out to run errands for them. He said it's very slick over there and they got a lot more snow than we did. We really don't want to risk going out if we don't have to.

Chris @faerywings I HAD to laugh about our "Amazon rants". It's Feb 6th and I have NOT ordered one thing from there! Have I been tempted? Heck to the YEAH!! I'm planning on a one month hiatus- LOL. Jeffy won't miss my money, but it's a personal goal. I can order + pickup in the parking lot from Walmart - they have NO price minimum. I did that at Christmas time. I'm not a huge fan of the Wally Monopoly either, but choices are limited. We have a really cool local department store that has online ordering, too. Chuck has hit own Prime membership (unbeknownst to me he got one?????) and I told him he was NOT renewing his. He like to do his own thing - hence he got his own. I asked him WHY????? Oh well, it's gone as soon as it's renewal time

Trina @tjscraps you probably already know this and I'm too lazy to read all the posts. Vitamin E Oil - PURE 100& is awesome! I swear by that - how's your chin feeling today?

Rae @bcgal00 it's always good to see your face. I'm always thinking of you and sending cyber hugs.

I'll try to do better at personals tomorrow - it's so late now and I'm hopelessly behind. HUGS to ALL and have a great Sunday evening!

Kay @BrightEyes - my shoulder has really been acting up - I think it's this cold weather. Probably Old Arthur has found his way to the healing of the bones. UGH - I'm back in my halter again and wearing the pain patch. It was SO wonderful to feel good for those few days and I KNOW it was that I was pain free. It's so bad when we get so used to living with pain - I didn't realize why I felt so good until I analyzed it.
