I hope that everyone is all rested and relaxed and enjoying the weekend!
My day was a mix of busy housework and relaxing. My laundry is all caught up, yay! I crossed off a ton of small things on my To-Do list. They had been building up and I kept ignoring them. I only have a few left to do today. And then I have to add the regular list of jobs to it and it starts all over again  The steam cleaner didn't come yesterday. It should be here today, so that job will be for tomorrow, perhaps.

ILs sent me a few pics of the party and I want to scrap them, just need to figure out what kit to use. Here is the one that FIL got of all of us at the table:

I am happy -- Scott is going to be able to make it home on time for dinner, so it will be the four of us. It's been a long time between his job, then Covid, and the chaos of the last few days. Now I have to figure what in the heck to cook ;)

wishing everyone a fantastic day and weekend! ♥

Good morning ladies. I managed to get to the store yesterday and to the post office. Really accomplished a lot. Was going to pick up my insulin but there is a shortage of the kind that I take. They say it is back ordered until February 28. Are you kidding me? This country is on such a downward spiral. The pharmacist said that I could contact my doctor to see if they could switch me to something else. It was late in the afternoon so I didn't...but I guess that is on the agenda for Monday.

It's rainy and only going to hit 70 today so I don't know what is on the agenda. Might take a drive...guess we will see.

@LSlycord We all need a PJ day now and then. Sounds like you really enjoyed yours and the weather cooperated. Good for you for deciding to restart walking. Even if it's only through the grocery store, something is better than nothing.:)

@Nonni F That is what I working on, to be kind to myself. I would never, ever treat anyone the way I treat myself and it is a mystery why I do. hmph. I hope that you continue to get stuff saved off of the EHD, is it mostly scrap kits? Hope that the Session wasn't too awful.

@vickyday Thx-- I'll tell Sam that you sent hugs.
This winter has really been the strangest I can remember. The really good thing is that I am hopeful that my oil bill isn't going to go up again. I am on a budget plan and last May, oil prices were skyrocketing b/c of the War in Ukraine and they were predicting a very cold season. With the temps being much warmer, maybe my monthly bill will even go down.
Keep going with the decluttering! #cheer1
I am so impressed!!! Yay!

@taxed4ever That's fantastic (if gross LOL) that you got all that wax out of your ear. When will you start swimming again?
From everything I have heard about shingles, I would get the vaccine. I got mine last year and the second round was rough from side effects. But shingles sound utterly horrific.
I have TSP powder and for some reason, I feel like I tried that on the range hood. It's very possible that I *thought* about it but never actually followed through.

@bcgal00 you slept until 8.30? And the dogs let you? Amazing! Remi keeps you busy all day long, doesn't she?

Arline-- if you are going to get in trouble at the Town Meeting, best to do it *with* the police chief bwahaha!

@Cherylndesigns Conrrats ont the new truck! *throws change into the back seat for good luck*
I am going to have to hide that picture if Gary walks into my office area, he has wanted a big pickup forever.
So funny about Casey surprising you. I almost always clean for my one friend on Thursdays. After all of these years, I still check in to remind her that I am coming. And sometimes, she still forgets :D
LOL-- and yes, the trick for using the St Joseph statues is that you have to plant them upside down! A friend of mine said that if you pray to Mary for sunshine on your wedding day, she will grant it. The night before my wedding, she put her Mary outside (for some reason, she is supposed to be outside) and left a message for her. No idea if Mary had anything to do with it, but I woke up to rain that day but the sun was out by the afternoon ;)

Linda WTH???? A shortage of insulin??? What kind do you use? I know Gary has been able to get his in the past from Walmart without a prescription. It was the generic for Humulog, it doesn't work as quickly in his pump but it sure as heck is better than nothing!

@faerywings those pictures are great. I can't wait to see them scrapped. I'm so glad that you get a chance to have dinner with the four of you. Those times are precious. I agree about the insulin...I couldn't believe that they had it back ordered for over two weeks. And they just acted like that was ok!:rollingpin1: But let's face it, you can't fix stupid! I take Tresiba which is a long acting insulin. There are a couple of other brands. I thought I would check with a few other pharmacies as well...to see if I'm just lucky enough to find the really stupid people. Grrr...

@Nonni F glad to hear that you were able to get your products back and that you are having some luck with restoring some of your EHD.

@vickyday good job on removing the clutter. It isn't easy but it does make one's mind feel better I think. At least it did with me. I still have plenty of clutter...but I'm making progress. I definitely need to get rid of some clothes in my closet. Even if I got a job where I worked outside of the home (and I really don't see that unless I go with a part time job) I wouldn't wear lots of these clothes. But they are good and should be worn by someone.

@taxed4ever oh I hope that this ear wax thing will help with the swimming. And I'm going to chime in on the shingles. My mother had them. She later had breast cancer and lung cancer (which eventually killed her). She had a very high pain tolerance and she said that nothing was as bad as shingles. Climbing back down from my soap box.

@bcgal00 our dogs eat twice a day. Usually they have breakfast around 10 or 10:30. This morning, Andie just sat and whined until I got her breakfast at 8:30. Now she is beside me on the couch and quite content. She is such an easy going dog...but when she wants something, she wants it now! We had the most beautiful hawk in the trees behind our house yesterday. But once I opened the lanai door to go get some pictures, it disappeared.

@Cherylndesigns woohoo. With that truck, I think that you may be a true Oklahoman now! With where you live, I agree, it was a necessity! LOL about you forgetting it was cleaning day. I woke up and thought, what is today? And then I thought, with my life now, what does it matter!

Ok ladies, Brian thinks that we should drive down south a ways and have breakfast on the ocean...even if we do need to wear sweatshirts. So I'm going to get cleaned up and get out of here. I'll be back later.

Quick in and out. Shoulder is still sore but the Tylenol helps. At least the right wrist is better now - the brace helped alot. Figured out that I could use my reacher to pull a laundry basket from the MB into the utility room - and use it to load the washer/dryer. So I was able to get the laundry done. Still have 1 more load to do today. Sat down with the tax package yesterday afternoon and got it organized. Just waiting on 1 more 1099 then can send it off to my tax gal.
Will be starting the 'walk the wall' with my left hand today. Right now I can only lift the arm to midway between my waist and shoulder. Off to get my shower and shampoo the hair with only one arm...

Yeah, the fuel oil prices are ridiculous this year! We are paying double what we paid last year! I'm glad it has been warmer, too, this last week! The fuel oil guy comes every month to 6 weeks automatically and we had used a lot! And, as far as I'm concerned, the house still isn't that warm! Mark is hot and runs a fan on himself ALWAYS and I wear fuzzy jammies, long sleeves and a house coat and wrap in a blanket most of the time when I'm sitting, LOL!

Quick in and out. Going to finish loading the car with the bags I filled yesterday and take them for donation. I would have gotten so much more done yesterday but after I ate lunch my lovely IBS struck and I had to go to bed for awhile. Later in the evening I felt much better and started on the kitchen drawers. I couldn't do any more in the bedroom since Mark was in bed already, LOL!

It is 20° cooler here today! And the furnace is running again! It is supposed to rain today (they've been calling for that for several days now) but the sun is shining. It is partly cloudy. Mark is in the woods working on the cabin again. The wood he milled yesterday went along the eaves and facia (under the eaves?) so any heat used will not just drift out as it rises. Picture is below. I don't think I showed you Mark's hammock either.......he says it's comfy! ;)

I emptied the drawers in the kitchen and ran the silverware dividers through the dishwasher. That load is done, so time to get those out so I can load the silverware back into the drawers and off the counter.

Good morning ladies. Let Remi out when we woke at 8 and she was barking frantically at the side of the house, so had to call her in. I could hear a faint noise somewhere and then Jen came upstairs to tell us the flicker was on the metal vent on the roof of the house next door and that was the noise, which Remi was barking at. He stayed up there about 10 minutes and then finally flew away.

Today I'll take the dogs for a drive out to Chase to the park there. It's a nice drive and I might see some wildlife along the way, you never know what you'll see there. We started watching season 2 of Only Murders In The Building. Made homemade sloppy joes for dinner. I have a tenderloin for the crockpot tomorrow but today will be leftovers for me and a chicken pot pie for D. I'm such a lazy cook now.

@faerywings Love the pics. They should be fun to scrap with. Enjoy the family dinner tonight.

@LSlycord That is terrible about the insulin. I expect that here, we run of product constantly but not in the US where everything is more plentiful. We haven't been able to get cough drops for weeks now and finding Tylenol is really iffy for the last couple of months. Life is sure different now, its never recovered since covid. Hope you get it figured out. How cool to see the hawk in the yard.

@BrightEyes Sending healing thoughts. Be careful and continue to heal.

@vickyday The cabin is looking good, Mark is so talented. I would be in heaven out there, amongst the trees and birds.

Remi wants to go out to feed the birds. I am trying to stagger times a bit for our routines b/c she is so job oriented, wanting to do things exactly when and how she expects. She was not happy when the snow and ice melted so no more ice hockey. But she is now becoming used to chasing a squeaky toy around the yard, it took about 5 days though, she kept looking for ice and softly crying.

I'd better get outside now. HAGD everyone.

Morning everyone.... surprise I am here on a Saturday!! Just waiting for my Gary to have his shower and get ready to go. Of course lots of errands to run and groceries to buy. I was so disappointed yesterday when I opened my Photoshop and sat there staring at with not a clue what I was going do for a page. #angry2My mojo has left the building!! I really need to go through the gallery today and get some kind of inspiration! I did manage to get Heather's parcel off to her, :holysheep:the cost of mailing a parcel to Ontario is just outrageous!! I will have to do another one once I finish Hunter's painting too.

@faerywings - Great photos of your fun party! So nice that everyone dressed for their part! I love that you have that wall hanging of the Eiffel tower!! Yes I totally agree that Caitlyn and Tom should dress like that for the wedding!! Hope you have a good time with Scott being able to be home for dinner tonight! Nice to have the four of you at the table again!

@LSlycord - Yup the whole world is going to HELL in a hand basket!! I spent a few hours going to every single pharmacy in the surrounding area trying to find chewable children's Advil for Mason. Heather can't find it anywhere in Ontario, she even has her brother looking all over Ottawa for it and Jonah's sister in Saskatchewan looking for it too!! I was over the moon when I found one single bottle of it sitting on an otherwise empty shelf at the SuperStore. HOORAY!! So off in the mail that went. I am so sorry that you are unable to get your insulin, but at least it is ordered and you will most likely be able to get it at some point. It's so frustrating how things have gone so crazy since Covid hit us!! I hope that in the meantime you can find a substitute!

@BrightEyes - I wish I lived closer to you I would come over and help you with all of these chores that you now have to do with only one arm!! Take care of yourself and I truly hope that you are feeling better very soon!

@bcgal00 - My gosh those fur babies of yours do keep you busy! I hope you have a nice day for your trip to the park! Nothing wrong with being a lazy cook, I am that way too and we sure aren't going hungry because of it LOL.

@vickyday - The cabin is coming along nicely! Love that there is a hammock in it to have a rest in. Hope your tummy is feeling better today and I am cheering you on with the de-cluttering and cleaning!! WTG!! #cheer1 Ok better get going , DH is all showered and ready to hit the road. Have a great day everyone! Please send me some mojo this way!

Hello all. We had our Saturday outing today and just got home. Didn't do too much damage today - well, I didn't. Adrienne bought a pair of jeans and a sweater. I tried on some jeans, but they're so hard for me to find. They're always so long on me and then I have to take them to get them shortened. UGH. I tried on one pair that were shockingly not too long, but the waist was too tight. It's so depressing to try on jeans. I think I'll just stay with my Democracy with the stretch waist that doesn't look stretchy. I have a low waist and short legs. #angry2 Trying on jeans for me is just below trying on bathing suits.:whip4:

Chris @faerywings your party looks like it was a hoot and a holler!! How fun and what great pictures! Yes, definitely don't let Gary see that truck - he will want one! Yes, you're right - you had to bury Joseph upside down. Even better and I'm sure Mary brought you the sunshine. Those things are so funny, but hey, if we think it helps, why not? My Jewish ex SIL sold his house after he did it. I remember his mom telling he shouldn't do it. :thankyouspin:

The dogs all stayed here while we were gone and had a play date. Chuck doesn't mind them all running around. They don't like to leave Marley for very long - she's only 5 months old. Roger had tractor work to do and none of the kids were around.

Linda @LSlycord that sucks that you can't get the insulin you need! It's so scary and I'm not going to get on my soapbox, but there are so many shortages right now and Trudy @taxed4ever it seems like it's with a lot of the stuff we NEED for kids. People still can't get baby formula for Pete's sake. I'm hearing that OTC pain meds for kids are going to be even harder to get. It's very scary. I make sure I'm stocked on my Arthritis Strength Tylenol - Heaven help it if I can't get that.

It's 52 here right now - we didn't even wear coats today. I always have my leather gloves on, and I have a big scarf if I need it. I hate coats.

We went through Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but I just got a smoothie. I ate too much last time with a smoothie and a sandwich.

I'm going to sign off now and see what I need to do. It's always hard for me to settle down after I've been gone all day. LOL

Kay @BrightEyes hope you're starting to get some relief. Hugs to you.

XOXO

Good Evening, Everyone!
Oh, Linda I hope you still have some insulin on hand. How scary. Shure does seem like we are going backwards and not forward these days. Sadly.

@Cherylndesigns several weeks ago, my baby brother's daughter had a temp of 105 and there were three of us driving EVERYWHERE in search of Children's Tylenol (or any generitc there of. It's insane. ...and you don't want to hoard it if you find it and don't need it because someone else might need it.

@faerywings those photos of game night are great! Looks like a lot of fun. Most of what I lost was kits. There were some photos... but, thankfully, at least the ones of my sweet kitten I lost at 9 months old in September, I had sent copies to his breeder, so she was able to send me those. The other things, I can live without.

Spent most of the day uploading what I'd lost and continuing to pull of the drive what I can. It's time for wine.

I hope wherever you all are.. you are safe, you are warm and you are smling.

It is the first thing I think of when I roll out of bed. Maybe the second thing. This time of year, the first thing is how *@#$ cold my feet are

How was your Saturday?

Caitlyn, Gary, and I spent way too much time working on a puzzle. Hours seem to zip on by. The next thing we knew, it was almost 2 pm. Thankfully, I was able to get a few things crossed off the List and only a few more added on. I did some scrapping and some crocheting. All in all, a pretty good day.
Today is the same kind of day. Caitlyn and Tom are meeting with my sister-in-law this afternoon. She is a realtor and they asked her for some help in getting started with home buying. *gulps* Gary and I are darn grateful they have someone they can trust. My uncle did that for us when we bought this house. He would do his realtor schtick in the house, get in the car, and then tell us straight up whether to consider it or not.

Do any of you watch the Super Bowl? Gary is going to want to but I refuse to watch the NFL. :soapbox:

I would love to scrap and crochet some more today so if I can get my week ahead prepped-- and get a yoga session in- I think I'll have time to do that.

Sending hugs to everyone!

Morning, all. Fell asleep last night at 8 and woke up at 4. I did my "walking the wall" with the left arm a few of times yesterday. Managed to get it about a foot above my shoulder.... but still can't lift it that far without the wall to support it. Yes, the cortisone shot has helped alot - not having the sharp constant pain like I was before. But it is still aching if I do much with it. Being careful not to over-do with the right hand/arm... just doing what 'must be done'... loading the dishwasher, etc. Glad I stocked up on frozen meals so I don't have to cook right now. I am hoping that I can do a bit of scrapping by the end of the week... I really miss it. But it has taken me over 15 minutes to type this... so will have to wait and see. HAGD

@LSlycord I hope that you were able to find somewhere that has your insulin in stock.
If you have business clothes to donate, check to see if you have a local women's shelter that helps women dress for job interviews. I can't think of the name of the one up here ATM, but I am sure there are either local or national ones near you too. It is such a good thing they do for women who often leave (escape, in reality :( ) with literally only the clothes on their backs. </3
LOL-in at Andoe wanted her b-fast now. J is like that, she runs around the house with her bowl in her mouth. Sometimes she starts up at 6 am, and I will *not* feed her until after 7 am.
That stinks that you couldn't get any pics of the hawk- they are so impressive. I hope that it comes back again. The same thing happened to me the other morning. I had two foxes cavorting behind my house. By the time I opened the bathroom window and stuck my head out with my phone, they had gone too deep into the woods for me to see.

@BrightEyes I am glad that your wrist is doing better. Go nice and slow with that shoulder (I know you know that. It's a compulsion for me to have to say it :rotfl: ) Do you think you are going to need PT as well?

@vickyday My DD has the *most* exzpressive face. She makes me laugh all the time.
We keep the house at 65 for most of the day and 62 at night. Gary is usually the one who doesn't feel the cold like I do but even he grumbles that 65 is too cold. You sound like me, all dressed in layers and wrapped in blankets ;)
I am really impressed by your decluttering. I threw two more things in my donate bag yesterday, does that count? *G*
The cabin is so awesome, I bet Mark is loving it!
sending healing vibes to you and your tummy again. ♥

@bcgal00 Remi is so silly, she had to guard you from the bird :D did you get to see any good wildlife at the park yesterday? You don't sound like a lazy cook to me, not at all if there's food on the table. Some days I think all I do is reheat leftovers or boiled pasta. Only Murders was so dang cute.
You'll have to take an ice cube tray outside and dump the cubes on the ground for her to play with when there isn't any snow/ice LOL

@taxed4ever I went through that scrap drought a week or so ago. Did you do the Template challenge? Maybe that can get you started? I hate that feeling when you want to scrap but - pffffft. Nothing.
I feel so bad for all of the moms. It sucks when your babies are sick but to not be able to find meds for them? Ugh.
Hope you had a great day out and about with your Gary.

@Cherylndesigns 100% with on jeans, stretchy jeans are the only way to go. I love mine that I get from TJ MAXX- D's Jeans for $16.99. And they are made from recycled plastic bottles.
Jeans (for me) aren't as bad as bathing suits-- They are the worst for me. Especially under those awful dressing room lights. *gags*
I bet the dogs had a blast together

@Nonni F OMG! I would have been terrified trying to get fever meds. Scott had a fever once that high after he had DTP vax and I was out of my mind, and that was with being able to give him Tylenol and Advil. Your poor brother, SIL, and niece. So scary.
I am glad that you were able to get some of the kitten's pictures back. That would have been a double blow, to lose him again. Now that I have read your post, is that a photo of him?

Sending lots more hugs to you all!

Good morning. How can we have let things like children's Tylenol and formula and yes, insulin, get to a place where we have none for people that need it. :soapbox: I am now out of the insulin and I am being very careful about what I eat instead of just careful. I'll call the doctor's office tomorrow and see what we can get figured out.

Had a good day yesterday. Tried a new restaurant on the ocean...not expensive but good food. My kind of place. Then we spent some time looking around Palm Coast...trying to figure out whether or not we would like living there. Most of the homes we looked at are less than 15 minutes from the ocean No HOA and some of the homes have decent lots.

We will watch the Super Bowl tonight. When we lived in Kansas City in the '90's, we had Chiefs season tickets. Both Brian and I are Chiefs fans from way back....so yes, we will be watching the game. No snacks to speak of, no drinking...just totally engaged in the game. Will probably turn it off during the halftime show. Shaun and I will probably watch it in the family room and Brian will probably watch it in the bedroom...that way, if it is making him nervous, he can turn it off for awhile. :giggle4:

The weather can't seem to make up its mind whether to rain or be sunny. But 60's today so I guess I can live with that. Will hit the 80's later this week. This really is my favorite time of year in Florida.

@faerywings it sounds like yesterday was a really good day. And yes, having a realtor that you know and trust makes a huge difference. I'm sure that we would never have moved as frequently as we did had Brian not been a realtor. Great idea about the women's shelter. We do have one that takes donations. That's the one that I used when we first got here (pre-Pandemic) but now we just drop things nearby. Going to go look it up right after I leave here.

@BrightEyes I am so glad to hear that the shoulder is getting better. Good to stay focused on not overdoing the right side now.

@vickyday I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time with your stomach. I do love that cabin in the woods and I think that the hammock looks like the perfect place to lie and read a book! With a nice cool breeze blowing through.

@bcgal00 glad that the snow and ice have melted for you...but sorry for Remi. I'm sure that she will get used to it. Yes, the hawk was such a nice treat. Last year we had a mama and baby back there and we got to watch the mama teaching the baby to fly. It was really fun. And since our dogs are big, I don't have to worry about any birds sweeping down on them.

@taxed4ever hope that the scrap drought ends quickly.

@Cherylndesigns I love what a good time you have with your family. I hate jeans. I put them on and they fit nice and snug and within an hour they have loosened up until they are falling off of me. Every single pair that I have does that. I finally bought an elastic belt that goes from one side around the back to the other. It keeps them from falling down. Totally irritating though.

@Nonni F love your cat photo! And fevers always scared my mom and she transferred that fear to me. I would have been going crazy!

@faerywings yes, that is a picture of him. Andiamo Oliver. AKA the Jelly Bean. He had the sweetest expression, but that is one of my favorite photos of him. I use it often for "this is my shocked face"

@BrightEyes I'm sure the process is frustrating but be kind to yourself. It takes time. Always more time than we want it to.

Hope you feel better today @vickyday .

As for mojo.. Oh, how I hate when that creative vibe disappears. I like the idea of the challenges to get me moving, but when a drought hits there isn't enough rain to pull me out of it.

@LSlycord OUT OF INSULIN! How, how did this become a thing?:oops:

I ate salad yesterday and my tummy is feeling better today, thanks!......So far! I just ate an egg mcmuffin......so we shall see how that settles, lol! Yes, Mark has done a wonderful job on the cabin! I'm glad he put up the hammock so he can take a break every once in a while! ;)

Quick in and out as we are heading to church soon.
It is a cold, rainy day here today. I'm surprised I didn't wake up with more of a headache than I did. Took some tylenol and it is basically gone, thank You Lord!
We are going to pick up the widow who buried her husband this past Wednesday. I will be inviting her to join Ilene and Carolyn and I on game days and for going to the widows' meetings an hour away. She may not be ready yet, but I want her to know the option is available for her to join us. She is such a sweet lady. Ilene knows her as they used to attend the same church years and years ago. So that is a good connection.
My stomach is better today. I ate salad only yesterday, so I didn't put much on it! I have eaten an egg mcmuffin this morning, so we shall see how that settles!
I think I will try to do some scrapping later today.....or knitting.....not sure yet. Mark will be watching football at some point.
OK, gotta run! Got to put my face on before we leave. I only use a little foundation, blush and lipstick. Never have been one for using a lot of makeup. I don't even use mascara any more. It makes my eyes itch and I end up looking like a racoon because I forget I have it on and rub my eyes, LOL!
HAGD! #kiss

Good morning ladies. I've been out already to feed the birds. They were waiting for me, they flocked to the feeder as soon as I stepped away from it. Sad situation yesterday, I tried but felt sick to my stomach doing it, so D had to come out and pull out a small bird that was stuck in the nesting box hole, dead. So he cleaned it all up and two birds have already claimed it. I know its common for this to happen but it still makes me so sad. But I try to look at it as us helping them clean up and they can use the little house again. A flicker was on the house next door yesterday so maybe it spotted our suet feeders and will eventually make its way over here. I heard it calling, off in the distance this morning.

We finished Only Murders In The Building last night (season 2) and can't wait for season 3. I'll put a pork loin in the crockpot later for dinner and will make BLT salads to go with it (with potatoes for D). I'll pop out for groceries but other than will stay home today. Yesterday when we got back from taking the dogs to play in the grasslands, everything and everyone was full of mud. All clothing went into the wash and we all had showers. Remi had 2 LOL. I washed her down first and then it was Taz's turn but Remi hopped back in with him so they stood side by side, having a shower together.

I want to spend the day scrapping, reading and puttering.

@faerywings How exciting that T&C are starting the process of getting info about home buying. That's great that they have a trusted person to get info from. I'm not watching the SB today and surprisingly, neither is D. I guess its different when you don't have your buddies around to watch with, so he won't bother.

@BrightEyes Sending healing thoughts your way. I remember the wall exercise from when I had to do it yrs ago with my torn rotator cuff and tendon tears. But it sure felt good when it healed. I always have to be a bit careful not to overreach and watch how I lift and pull things but it did heal pretty well. I wish the same for you.

@LSlycord Hope you get your insulin soon. That is not a good situation. Enjoy the game today.

@Nonni F What a funny photo of your cat LOL

@vickyday Glad you feel better today.

I need more coffee and the dogs are waiting for me to go upstairs to get dressed, then sit down at my computer up there and they will have a nap. They sure love a routine LOL.

HAGD everyone.

Good afternoon. It just hit 12:00 PM. I almost made it. :giggle4::giggle4:

Chris @faerywings no Super Bowl for me either. I can't stand it! Chuck will probably watch a little bit of it in his office, I don't know if we're going to Adrienne's yet or not. Roger's not real excited about it either. I didn't even know who was playing - that's how much I care about it. Adrienne didn't even know where it was being played - I at least did hear that. She and I hate football on TV. I suffered through a few of Braden's HS games, but it was tough for me. I can't stand the game. That's all you hear right now - I can't believe how many gazillions of dollars are spent on that thing! People pay thousands of dollars to get good seats plus have to pay airfare to get there - I guess it's all the hype that I can't stand! I'm with you on the NFL, too. I don't know if this is totally true, I didn't fact-check it but I *heard* that about as much money is spent on Super Bowl party food as on Thanksgiving. :rollingpin1:Stepping down now. :soapbox:

Linda @LSlycord so horrible that you're out of insulin!!! You NEED that!!! Babies need formula and everything else! TP will probably go AWOL again. Now, people can't afford to buy eggs. That restaurant sounds lovely - nice but not pricey. How far is that from where you live now? NO HOA!!! Sounds Heavenly to me - real paradise with no HOA! I had to lol over your comment that we were "real Oklahomans" now with our truck. Most people out here have them, that's for sure. We have some pretty rough terrain around here especially when you get off the beaten path. Yes, we do have lots of fun here. All of the kids have been gone this weekend and it's been quieter than usual. Braden went to the U of A to a Super Bowl party - he's already made a few contacts there and hopes to get into a good fraternity. He was excited that he got invited to a party. The girls drove to Little Rock AK to watch one of their friends in a Jiujitsu competition. Alyssa's bf went with them. Those girls are so independent - They've been sending us lots of pictures and texting Adrienne and me the whole time. They do stay in touch, which is fun.

Vicky @vickyday I meant to tell you how amazing the cabin is looking! That will be so cozy and fun when he gets it done. I can't eat much salad - it doesn't agree with me either. Glad your headache is gone.

Noni @Nonni F LOVE the kitty picture - what a gorgeous cat! We have an orange tabby, male cat named Sam. He's a character and I call him the king - he's the boss when all of the dogs are running around here. All he has to do it reach that paw out and they back off. He also loves to tease them. We get so tickled watching him with all the dogs.

Kay @BrightEyes sorry you're still not able to get much reach, but that will come. I'm just now getting all of the strength back in my right shoulder. I do wall push - ups too and started with easy ones but am up to doing the full body weight now, with my feet placed pretty far from the wall, on my toes. It's coming back. My goal is to be able to do my planks again. My ortho told me there was no reason I couldn't do them again, WHEN I was ready. I'm getting close.

Hugs to everybody - have a good Sunday.

XOXO
