I really have to make this as fast as possible. I told myself I had until 8 am to drink coffee, read the news, and catch up on FB/emails/Oscraps. And now it is after 8 and here I am.
So. Yesterday was a long day and I don't get much of anything accomplished. I got a couple of small things that I needed for the gifts that I am making, but I still need to go through everything on Monday and place an order on Amazon for everything else.
My mom did really well- she finished off a few more things on her list so that was good. But darn, by 2 pm, I was toast! I could not wait to get back home and put my PJs on.

Today, I am cleaning the house and getting everything as ready as I can for tomorrow. I still need to work out the pricing for it all. I have to go to the food pantry and drop some books back to the library.
Still no scrapping time. :(

Sending lots of hugs your way~~~~~

Felis - I know exactly what you mean about procrastinating. That is why I am still typing here instead of cleaning the bathroom.
Cuddling your puppy and talking a nap sounds like heaven, not a tragedy :)
Your cats are very lucky to have you!

Nancy- great job with the aqua therapy! Sounds much nicer to be in a warm pool. Your veggie calzones must have been yummy.

Trudy- what is up with appliances breaking like that?

The top sounds very pretty and I am sure you are going to look amazing.

Rae- it was the same temps here and it is way too cold to be out jogging, it hurts my lungs just to be out there. Hope you have enough free time to finish your book.

Jean- good luck getting everything done for the estate that you needed too.

Angela- Good luck getting everything ready for Joy's trip and I hope that your friend's husband gets out of ICU soon.

xoxo

Morning ladies... Well its :rain: here today, at least it isn't :smow: so far anyway! I really don't want it to snow tonight when we have to drive home from the Christmas Party! We will have to go over hill 60 where it can be very treacherous if it starts to snow and then there are the elk that we have to watch out for too! :fear: Today will be the usual getting groceries and other errands to run. Should not be too busy though and hopefully I will get a chance to be here at the 12 Days fun today! I actually got a page done for the 12 Days Scraplift Challenge, such a fun challenge!!

Chris - Good luck in getting your pricing all finished off today! Ugh I hear ya on the cleaning, I procrastinate that job too!! There are far too many other things that I would like to be doing! Like wasting time on Pinterest or finishing off decorating the house. I am sure that your event planned for tomorrow will be very successful! I wish I could be there to pick up some of your amazing goodies!!

Rae - It is hard to put down a good book and get to work! I am sure you wish you could have just kept reading all day! Yes a bit too chilly to go out jogging for sure! Looks like you could get a bit of snow on the Mainland today, please keep it there, I don't want it!! Hope that you have a nice weekend! Will you visit with B this weekend?

Jean - Hope you love your new vacuum cleaner! Not much notice for you to get things ready for the estate of the cousin, so hope you manage to complete your job in time!

Angela - Too cute about the Joy page! Yes it will be an easy challenge to complete for you!

Ok my Gary is wanting some breakfast, so off I go to cook something warm and filling for his stomach! I will eat later, not hungry right now. I hope you all have an amazing day!

good day - yesterday was good and the aqua therapy is going well. I was sore yesterday but a good sore as it worked the muscles. There were more people so met them so that too was interesting. I must say that at the end of all the exercising you get to just hang in the 6ft deep part and that is really relaxing and I think it is good as it stretches the back. I was really tired all evening. It is cold today. Just going to spend the day scrapping and watching hockey.

Chris I am sure that tomorrow will be awesome. Glad you were able to help your mom so much. I have no shopping done but at least I do know what I am getting it just requires getting it. I bet Cait must be so excited for the rats to come.

Trudy the color of the blouse sounds so lovely. Have fun at the party! Hope you do not get snow. We are very lucky the big storm is going to stay south of us. And you are so correct that the aqua therapy is wonderful. I am shocked. My son and I caught up together the Outlander episodes. I had already seen them but he likes me to watch so I can fill in the blanks. Now I cant wait for Sunday!

Rae how nice that though you are so busy you will be able to get some down time over the holidays! I know what you mean about not being able to put down a good book.

Angela I bet Joy is so excited. And you should scrap that page.

Jean how fun to have a new vacuum. Hope the estate work does not take too long.

Have a great day all!

Having a rough day today... so no personal notes.

In memory of my sweet hubby, I am fixing his 2nd favorite meal for dinner ... turkey stew with noodles. His 1st was Turkey, dressing and gravy. I also had waffles with fresh blueberries and whipped cream for breakfast. Hope to be in better spirits tomorrow.

12 hours. In 12 hours I will be in my pajamas, on my sofa, sipping a glass of wine. That is it. I got this!!

But right now, I am beat! The house is looking good and almost everything is ready to go for this morning. I have to make up the prices for some of the new things that I made this year and put some ribbons on a few small things. I was only able to finish crocheting one additional scrubbie last night. I put in an extra stitch in one of the rounds and it looks a bit off... but get this-- I didn't rip it all out, I accepted it as it is. *pats self on the back*
Gary made an adorable dowel Christmas tree to hang the ornaments from yesterday. That man can take literally anything and everything and make it into something. I don't know how he does it.

The other thing that I am looking forward too is...
the babies are coming today!!!!
SO excited!! I Wil get to hold these little ones tomorrow- I will most likely be asleep when Caitlyn gets back home tonight but I am going to wake her up bright and early tomorrow so I can see thm.

Not much else happening over here. Wish me luck and sanity today. I have to be honest and admit that the most exhausting part of today is having to be "on" for 4 hours. I am just not that good with people anymore. It is kind of sad that I have lost that part of me. But what can you do?

Have a fab day everyone.
Hugs!!

Trudy- sorry to hear that it rained, but yes, rain is much better than snow. I hope that you had a really fun time last night. Did you get any pictures of you and your Gary?

Nancy- so happy to hear that the AT is helping your knee and your back. So it is an actual class, not a one on one PT session. that is really cool.
Oh yeah, to say that Cait is excited to get the rats is an understatement.

 Hi Jean!!!

Kay- sending you HUGE hugs of love and support to you and lights a candle in memory of your husband.

Felis-- that is how I am :cofbath: vs how it should be too :fireplace:

Morning ladies... slept in until 7am :bliss: however did not go to bed until almost 11:30 LOL the drive home was very nice, no rain, no elk, no deer and hardly any traffic. We had a very nice time at the Christmas Party and there was a great slideshow running of all of the hikes that we have done over the past year. Lots of good food and dancing too! DH drank a lot of coffee as he was my designated driver and so he ended up staying up a bit later than me poor guy! Today we will finish decorating for Christmas and we will be bottling a red wine this morning. Other than that I hope to be here at the O!

Chris - I hope that all goes well with your faerywings party! I bet you sell a lot of goodies!! How nice that you will get to cuddle with your new babies when they arrive I bet that Caitlyn is very excited to be getting them also! Did you post photos of the dowel tree that your Gary made on Facebook? I will have to check it out. I did take a selfie of my Gary and I before we left to the Christmas Party, perhaps I will do a page today with it. Hope you get to relax and enjoy your glass of wine after your busy day!

Nancy - Can't wait to see Outlander tonight! Did you see the Bruins play last night!! We were happy to see that they won against the leafs! Sounds like the game got a bit rough! We were unable to watch as we were at the Party, but kept track of the score with my TSN app on my phone. DH is downstairs right now watching the highlights of the game.

Jean - :hello: back at you! I bet you are a very busy lady these days with your estate work. Hope you got everything done!

Kay - Sending you gentle hugs and hope that today is a better day for you!

Felis - Ugh on the boring errands and hope that you got them all completed so you can sit in front of the fire and have a nice glass of wine!! Love that smiley!!

Ok off to make French Toast for DH's breakfast, I will eat something later on this morning. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

good morning - well my son and I just finished watching the new episode of Outlander. We have the Devils vs the Ducks tonight at 8pm so we needed to watch the episode early. Hoping my Devils play well. Going to prepare lasagna for dinner. Yesterday my son called and I went with him to help him pick out a new camera for his wife. First he came over to check on my Escape. It has a bizarre electrical problem but my son said it should not be too bad to fix. I love my own mechanic. We got a great price on the new camera and now we can give her all of our old lens so she will be all set. My DH and I have gone Sony.

Chris have fun at the Open House. I wish we lived closer. But this summer we are going to meet up. Your stuff looks so cool. Your DH is amazing with his ability to create such cool things. Cant wait to hear about the new babies.

Trudy that is awesome you had such a good time. I love that they had a slide show of all the hikes. Did you contribute to the slide show? Have fun today bottling your wine.

Jean waving hi!

Kay I hope the day is filled with lovely memories that help the day pass more in happiness than in sadness. Love that you made a favorite dinner.

Felis errands are boring - hope they are finished early

Have a great day all!

Thanks for the good wishes. Thought today would be better - but I am still feeling the same. Maybe tomorrow.

While I was getting ready to make the dumplings for the turkey and dumpling stew... I discovered that a couple of opened boxes of baking mix were out of date. That lead me to checking other things in the pantry for expired dates. Well... let's just say that it took 4 trips to the garbage bin to carry all the sacks of the ones that were out of date!!! Guess I haven't been checking since before Bill got sick last year! Now the shelves are looking pretty bare.
At least I now have 4 containers of turkey stew - 1 in the fridge and 3 in the freezer. Had some for supper last night... it tasted so good. Need to make an apple crisp today as I have several apples that need to use ASAP. Been buying lots of fresh fruit as they have been on sale... blueberries, pears, oranges, Clementines, and grapes. If nothing else sounds good, I will eat fruit.

Hoping you all are staying safe and warm this weekend.

Well, I finished and sent off my (hopefully) final report before 4:00 this afternoon. If BIL thinks it's OK he'll pass it along to the attorney. Sure hope I'm through with that! I didn't do anything else and got pretty cross-eyed in the process. Tomorrow I need to get back to where I was and get Christmas stuff going. And catch up the fun here at the O!

Chris, I'm sure the open house was lovely and your products much appreciated. Enjoy the morning snuggles with the "babies."

Kay, sorry you're feeling down. But cleaning the cupboards might have been a bit therapeutic. All the fruit sounds wonderful.

Felis, maybe you got the boring errands done and got to enjoy some comfort time, hope so.

Trudy, the party must have been fun and the slide show would make a lovely reminder. You've shared such beautiful photos from them. We saw part of the Bruins game and were impressed with how well they were doing. I don't understand though why the Leafs have a BLUE leaf not red.

Nancy, how great that the therapy isn't bad and probably doing some real good. Good luck to the Devils.

Hi to everyone I've missed.
