Ugh.... these 4 am wakeups are the PITS! I end up dragging my butt most of the day.

Thank you all for the good thoughts on Little Livvie. She did great! She will be by herself in the medical cage probably until tonight/tomorrow am, and then Caitlyn will put Cordelia in there with her. Because rats are such social creatures, it is more stressful for them to be alone, especially if they are bonded with other rats. Dill is such a mellow girl and isn't an overgroomer of the others that it shouldn't be an issue of overactivity or pulling stitches.
The vet is so awesome with Caitlyn too. He only charged her $75 - the cost of the anesthesia. She made a coupon code last month in her Etsy shop and all of the sales that used the code went to her surgery. She thought it was going to pay for part of it, but it covered the entire thing.
Her shop is doing really well. A few months ago, she made "worms on strings" (Remember Squirmills back in the day?), and then she got this idea of making them 3 feet long with big googly eyes. They are made with brightly colored curly fabric (worms with perms). She sold 5 out of 6 in less than six hours. She is thrilled!

I am almost done with my little squid, I just have to crochet his fins on the top of his head. He is freaking adorable! I also found a pattern of a 2020 snowflake ornament and the snowflake points are a repeated curse word. I asked Gary to print them up for me to add to the gift baskets. They are really funny. I will paint them sparkly silver and gold and add some shimmery ribbon for the hanger. My family is going to laugh their butts off. I decided to not give one to my brother and SIL- they might not be as amused as they would have to show it to my nephew. But I made them the Snoopy ones instead so that is much more appropriate. LOL
I *finally* started my Art Doll page and I am in love with her. I need to finish that today and get that in the Gallery.

Cait and I are going to run over to the FP this morning and I hope that they have Matzoh. I need that for a cookie recipe and I don't have any. *fingers and toes crossed* When I get back it is going to be working on more Christmas gift making. Instead of a Faery, I am gonna be an Elf today!

Have a very happy day!! xoxoxo

Trudy- ITA the Gallery is just brimming with goodness and beauty! I also agree that I haven't had enough time to spend in there.
Were you able to get everything that you needed at Staples? How did the calendars come out? Awww, thank you for the sweet words about Caitlyn. I didn't have much to do with it, she is inherently a good person.
She got a 60/60 on one of her Policy Papers, and the Professor commented that if she ever decided to leave Social Work as a profession that law/policy would be a good place for her to be. He enjoys hearing her passion for it. (I wonder where she gets that from?)

Betty Jo- I am sending you gentle hugs and feel better vibes. No worries about the challenge as we aren't eligible for the prizes anyway. I will have to go check your doll out ASAP!
How sad and worrying that you haven't heard from your friend or her sister. Could this be a case of no news is good news? I know that might be unlikely but I would like to hope that.

Rae- Is your back feeling better? Take care of it while you are out today, that last thing you need is to reinjure it. Enjoy the trip and I hope you get some amazing photos.
Yes, as long as I am going to make a scented mess, best that it is coffee scented!

Kay- Let me know what you think of the new NR when you are done. I haven't been to my library since March, I have been using Hoopla for borrowing books instead. Must feel good to have a real solid book in your hands.
Hope that it warms up today. Gary told me that we are supposed to drop into the teens in the next few days too. Not liking that!
No road closure at all. It was another traffic accident that took out a phone pole. The same stretch of road that I got detoured on over the summer for the same darn reason. SMH!

Cheryl- I think the same about Caitlyn, she has a way with animals. How old is Ava again? I was telling Cat about her, they have to be close in age, IIRC?
I am happy for Fred! Sad, but happy too. It had to be bittersweet to see him go but the best place for him is with his herd/fellow deer.
:jaw:
Look at that kitchen and granite and floor and OMG!!!!! IT is really happening!!!!! (Can ya tell I am excited!!??!!)
I swear if someday I am able to teleport, I am coming to visit!

Oh Jean, your art is just incredible! You are so darn talented! I hope that you are able to sell those pieces. (BTW- I pm'd you yesterday and I am only seeing the Market website today- and wow, you are so inspiring and talented)

Felis- We haven't put on any Christmas music yet, it had to make your house feel so much more cheerful and in the holiday spirit. Middleton is going to be so excited - you do get your pets gifts?
I was cleaning up some paper shopping bags that I was using to cover my table while I was painting and Jaida remember that it what we used to wrap gifts for our Christmas in July theme and they also got gifts that night. She was looking at me-- like "Is that a gift for ME??" LOL Poor girl...
I don't think I have heard Miley's version of Santa Baby, I will have to keep my ears open. Did you finish your LO yet?
A mushy, muddy yard is not a good thing with a puppy... :(

Nancy- Doing a deep clean feels good in those few minutes when you are done and before it gets trashed again. haha!!!! I bet you are happy that you already have your tree since it looks like a disgusting weather day. Have a fab time decorating with this family today!
I cannot believe that we are having more daily cases than we did in the spring. It is scary. Keep being safe!

Better get going, I have to get my day rolling! Hugs!

Morning ladies... Another foggy morning and we are heading out to Costco this morning Ughhh I am not looking forward to it! They have pretty good Covid rules and hopefully it will be a quick trip! I would much rather be staying at home! So I am not going to be here too much today, but hopefully I will be able to pop in later on this afternoon. Oh and the morning started off just great with the dishwasher going on the fritz again :rollpin: Sorry no personals today ladies, but wanted to say Hi and hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

Quick in and out for me, too. Was gathering up photos, etc that our mom had that I am sending to my sister. Her son will be here today to pick them up as he will going to her house in TX for Christmas. He lives in Las Alamos and will be here in town today. Have been promising them to her for over a year but Covid put a stop to our visiting. Any way... to make a long story short, I got caught up in looking at old photos, albums, etc. Ran across some OLD photos from my childhood - which sent me looking to see if I had them on the computer or disks. Found a couple of CDs with some of them on it... plus more that I had forgotten about. They were labeled Family Photos 1 and 3... but couldn't find #2 - guess it got lost in one of our moves. What a blast from the past it has been to see them again. There were some of my baby pictures and of my older sister and I when we were toddlers. Also pulled out the album I made for our parents 40th anniversary and realized that I had NOT copied it. It has some of the only photos from mom/dad's early years... plus a full family history that I didn't know was stored in there. Sister will have to wait until I get it all copied onto DVD's before I send it on to her. Guess I have my next big project on my 'to do' list! And will add copying photos from Mom's and grandmother's older photo albums that I ran across that I haven't looked at in several years.

Gotta get dressed before my nephew shows up. Will try to get back in here later after he leaves. Have a good day.

Good morning my lovely O's.

Chris, Ava is 20, going on ageless. She's always been well beyond her years. She's fearless especially with animals. She just has this "spirit" about her. The best thing is she loves hanging out with her old grandma and always makes me feel young and beautiful! What more could a grandma ask for?

Could you give me the link or name of Cait's Etsy shop? I'd love to see the cute things she makes. Ava sells baby and children's clothes although she's taken a short break during our move. Her shop is Little Vintage Elephant and she operates mostly on Instagram. She uses Shopify but is thinking about going to Etsy.

I'm glad little Livvie got along so well, bless her tiny heart and how sweet of the vet to only charge $75. There are still some good folks around, around there? I mean, how much can it cost to perform surgery on a tiny little critter?

Oh, and I'd love to see your little squid. I'll bet it's adorable.

Trudy, darn that dishwasher! Why do things always go out this time of year?

Kay, seeing those pictures must bring back a flood of memories. Bless your heart for getting them ready!

Hugs to all and have a great Saturday!

Had the genealogical committee meeting this morning (Zoom), so that was a fun way to start the day. I'm accumulating things I need to get done, but one needs others to come through with their parts, so we'll see.

Chris, I'm eager to see your squid. It sounds so sweet. I'd also love to see the rude 2020 snowflakes. Glad Livvie is doing well and the vet came through big time. It does sound like Cait and Ava have a lot in common. Hope you aren't letting the holiday time stress build too much.

Trudy, good luck with your excursions and busy time. Your weekends always seem that way. Did you get the packages mailed?

Kay, what an amazing time you've had with the old photos and the family history. Glad you'll get to copy things and also share.

Cheryl, glad you're getting progress on the house! So exciting. And Fred will probably be around. We live in the city but we have deer. We haven't been seeing them so much lately but we do see tracks and one came through our yard in the snow.

Felis, delightful having you here and seeing you in the gallery too. That is one big puppy! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Nancy, hope you're having a great time with the family. There have been some great sounding walks with Luther.

Great weekend wishes to all.

Happy Saturday all, or what’s left of it. We’re in the fifties today, but damp and overcast, so makes it feel much cooler. Double socks and I still can’t keep my feet warm.

We had to cancel the planned video trip scheduled for tomorrow. My DIL (Jen) took some donations to our local food bank Wednesday, her mother is the assistant manager there. The very next day the manager was diagnosed with Covid, so Jen’s mother is having to be tested, and possibly Jen as well. So, since we’d be in a car for several hours to our destination tomorrow, we’ve just called off the trip, since I fall into the “at-risk” category. Also, yesterday, Jen got word that her cousin in New Jersey has just been hospitalized with Covid.

Chris, glad to hear your Little Livvie is okay. Sounds like Caitlyn is very creative, like her mom. And yes, Chris, I do hope no news is good news concerning my friend, but in her frail declining state of health, I can’t help but be concerned.

Oh, Cheryl, your new kitchen is gorgeous! What a wonderful Christmas gift!! I’m so happy for you that your new home will soon be complete. Also, my oldest granddaughter turned twenty this year. I’ve been around her more than the other grands so we enjoy each other’s company.

Trudy, sorry about your dishwasher. Can you believe I only use mine for storage? Of course, there is only one of me, and I enjoy washing dishes. I know, I’m a nut!! But, it saves me money too. I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow and I dread it. I go to the least busy one in our small town, early Sunday mornings, and there are few people there, so it works out.

Kay, your walk down memory lane through the photos sounds awesome. I so love to go back through the old ones that I have when my sisters, brothers, and I were little. My brother has the bulk of my mom’s old photos, and we haven’t been able to get together since Covid. So, I’ve got a lot of photos to choose from once I can visit him again.

Jean, I just love your avatar. It’s so true of me right now. It’s like I can’t have snacks in the house. With all the Covid stuff going on I want to eat to push it out of mind. I’m trying to scrap instead! It’s fun, but it’s not chocolate, that’s for sure.

I read this on Facebook and it made me giggle. “When you do squats, are your knees supposed to sound like a goat chewing on an aluminum can stuffed with celery?” Makes me think someone has been listening in from an adjoining apartment when I exercise!! LOL

I have a question about posting here on the forum. I can never get the paragraph spacing right. It's always way to wide between paragraphs, so I end up having to edit once posted. What's the secret?

Hello ladies, we have few power outages today, which is strange because the rain was very light, actually it was drizzle. I had to change my plans and I'm not good organised person even without it, so it was semi-successful day for my tasks. And we had to watch lots of TV at the evening as it was final and half-final for two of the TV shows we follow.

Nancy, I love the feeling after deep cleaning, it's like you have power in this concrete moment, to control the world! Have fun on your family meeting!

Chris, so relief to hear that Livvie is feeling well! You're one busy Faery! Share pictures of what you think your family wouldn't spy from here!!!
I do make gifts to my kiddos, but I'm never wrapped them. We pack gifts very rarely as paper going on waste, whereas our gift bag collection is with multi time use. But watching how much this dog love destruction I think it will be excellent idea for him! Oh, Jaida is so cute, deserve extra snack!
I'm a little bit naive, so I look on "Santa, baby" as a song for lady that just have luxury list of wishes. As one of these spoiled rich girls from "Sex and the City" or "Riverdale" which wears on daily basis shoes more expensive than my family car. But before 2 years feminists saw in it girl that sing to her sugar daddy, and "hurry down the chimney" is sexual metaphor on english, but I wasn't familiar. So Miley update it in very cool way, adding "I can buy my own damn stuffs", "a girls' best friend is equal pay" and my favorite "don't send me pictures of your 'you know what', lol there really are some jerks on IG with inappropriate behavior. However I still like the original more, and the parts I choose are so much for 2020, it started rough, but at final I'm happy with my LO.

Trudy, good luck with today's tasks! It sounds like Santa will bring new dishwasher for someone LOL.

Kae, this throwback time must be bittersweet, hope your new project makes you excited not nostalgic!

Cheryl, haha, actually to perform surgery on a tiny little critter is much more complicated which logically make it more risky and from there more expensive.

Jean, love how this guinea pig in your avi is eaten the whole tree! Makes me smile every time. It could be a little stressful now, when tasks are crossed at the same time, but it also mean that in one moment you'll be able to finish more things at once.

Betty Jo, sorry that you should cancel your trip and hope that everyone will be fine and with negative results! I just don't know about the paragraphs, maybe depends what browser you use.

Brr, is it chilly! Even with my window sealed a bit, I am getting a breeze from the wind. At least the sun is out so it doesn't look quite as cold as it is.
I am in a very good mood today. Don't ask me why, I have no freaking clue! But dang, I will take it. :p
I woke up around 4 am again, but I was able to drift back for a little while. That has to help. I feel like I got a bunch of things accomplished yesterday even though I didn't. Big score at the FP- Matzoh crackers! Whew. It was a win-win- the woman there said that they end up with so many boxes of them so she gave me two. I have to take some pics of my projects today, the squid is done. I have no idea why the fins on his head came out lopsided because I *swear* that I didn't mess it up with counting since it was only 9 stitches each. I thought about ripping them out and starting fresh but that didn't last long. LOL
I also found a pattern for "coffee cozies" and I am going to add them to the gift baskets since they will have the coffee scrubs. I decided to do a 2020 Survival Basket "theme" for them. I am going to throw in little packs of tissues and some TP, plus something cozy - the scarf, the softies, etc- and top it off with the rude ornaments. Caitlyn suggested I buy some airline bottles of alcohol which would be hysterical but that means I would have to go into a liquor store and at this point, I am not going anywhere unless I have to.
I finished my art doll and I am pretty darn proud of her. I wish I could think of a name, she really deserves a name. I supposed all in all I did get a lot done.

I also have to say how much I adore all of you! I wish I could give all of you a big hug in person. Instead here is a ginormous virtual one. ::grouphug

Trudy- how was Costco? Not too crowded, I hope.
jeez- your dishwasher is on the fritz again? 2020 is the year of Appliances Taking Revenge.

Kay- what a fantastic find of all of those photos. Maybe you will find CD#2 at some point. Your sister is going to enjoy seeing them, hope that she is feeling better and stronger every day. I really can't wait to see baby pics of you!

Cheryl- Both of my kids are old souls too- but Scott is the true old soul in the family. My mom said the exact same thing to me yesterday about her three grands. She said that each one of them gives her different things (Cait's gift is her sass LOL) but at the same time, they all give her the same thing-- being loved.
Her Etsy shop is Rat Queen Creations
IIRC, Leah uses Shopify... maybe not... I know whatever she use(d), Caitlyn preferred Etsy, it was a lot easier for her to list and manage. Good luck to Ava if she switches.
The rat vet is such a good person. She found him when she adopted the three girls 2 years ago. The rescue required them to be checked out by a vet and gave her a voucher to a bunch of vets. The rescue is based in MA so he was the only one in the area so she figured she would use the voucher and go from there. The vet we have used for our cats and dogs since 1995, has a small animal vet but she didn't have tons of experience with rats, mostly bunnies/hamsters. As soon as we met him, she was sold on him for the girls. He loves rats and doesn't get to work on them often so he typically charges only for meds and his time is free. We already plan on dropping off a basket of cookies and dog treats for the holidays, we did that last year too and Caitlyn made some hammocks for his rats. It is a great feeling when you are surrounded by good people.

Jean- it seems like that genealogy group is getting the hang of the Zoom meetings very well. If I can clear off a flat area somewhere in my house I will try to take some pics of the stuff I am working on. Holiday stress is manageable ATM-- in a very large part to you

Betty Jo- enjoy your sort of warm weather. I always sound old when I talk about the chill getting into my bones but darn if it isn't the truth! Here is to cozy socks for everyone! :cheer2:
I am so sorry to hear about Jen's cousin and my fingers and toes are crossed for her mom to be ok. It is really hard to watch a of this happening everywhere and not be able to do anything but stay as isolated as you can. Hugs to you and I hope you hear from your friend's family soon.
I use Firefox for my regular browser but the formatting never works on this site so I use Chrome here. Don't ask me why that happens, I have no idea. What browser do you use?

Felis- Sorry that the power was going out on you. That is frustrating on a good day but when it messes up your plans, that makes it even worse. I am the same way with my lack of organization and it takes very little to throw me off.
I used gift bags for almost everything other than the gifts that Santa brings. (Yes at 24 and 22 my kids still want "Santa Presents.") And the dogs *love* to unwrap gifts. Middleton would have fun!
You Santa Baby LO was so great, loved the kitties in it. :)

Rae- can't wait 6to see your photos and LOs!

hugs!

Morning, gals. Looks like my wake-up time has finally shifted to a more normal 6AM instead of 4AM. Still dark outside and no bright moonlight shining on the window now so that might be part of why I am sleeping in abit.

Had a delightful visit with my nephew yesterday... wearing masks, etc. Showed him Mom and Dad's 40 anniversary album and told him why sis isn't getting it yet. He was thrilled to hear some of the stories behind the photos... how they met, who proposed to whom, etc. As he said - it made him see them in such a different light than how he had always thought of them. So glad I was able to pass on some of those memories and stories to him. Really need to write them down and give them to my kids and the other nieces and nephews. I called my sister [his mom] after he left to let her know that he had picked up the photos and what a great visit we had enjoyed. She is to see her doctor this coming week to see if she can stop using her oxygen at night [from having Covid].

I finally got my MBedroom cleaned up... put the books away that were stacked here and there. Moved some out to the shelves in the garage and put others in bookcases. That lead to dusting, etc. Which lead to dusting, etc in the rest of the house before he arrived.

Chris, the new Nora Roberts Awakening is just as good as her other series. It is one with fairies, witches, dragons and a battle between good and evil. I finished reading last evening and can't wait until she releases the next books in the series. Was a good way to end a wonderful day.

I saw Cait with her 'worms' ... so cute and delightful. No wonder they sold out so quickly. Hey... glad you got the Matzoh crackers! Your gift baskets sound so neat... great idea. Know that the recipients will love them.

Cheryl, need to look at the photos soon. I know you are getting excited that it is all finally coming together. Really enjoy reading about the progress on this big family adventure that is a dream come true for you all.

Trudy... ugh about the dishwasher problems. Seems like when one appliance goes.. others do the same. Thought my dishwasher was going bad about a year ago then it started working again and has been okay. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. Hope you had a easy/quick/not too busy time at Costco.

Betty Jo, double those socks up and hope that helps with the cold feet. I am back to wearing my warm fuzzy socks to bed at night to keep mine warm. I also wear heavy socks and my warm slippers during the day. Glad you are having some warmer weather.

Forgot to turn up the heat so need to get that done then take my shower once it is warmer. Then will be time to sort the laundry and see how far I get on it today. Hope you all have a great week.

Hi my dears!
Today we celebrate St. Nicholas day. That's mean that for dinner have to be fish. Traditionally it must be carp :fish:, but my family is not big fan of it, so will choose another fish. :fish2:
Tradition of my family is also that on this day we put the Christmas decoration on. This year was hard for my family (and for many other, I know), we can't still get in completely festive mood, so we decided to decorate on stages and to postpone the christmas tree for now. I believe that everything around Christmas have to happen because you feels it, not to looks on it as an another task.

Rae, I'm happy to hear that you had nice day!

Chris, I'm happy to hear you're in such a good mood! Baskets sounds as a lots of fun, I'm sure they will be the hit this Christmas! lol LOL you told us everything about Cait's rats vet, except his age, I want to know what is the true interest behind his goodness as she is very attractive girl?!

Kay, it's a great idea to write down all these memories and shared them with others! I hate how often I have questions about my grandma (dad's mom) and he just don't know.

Good morning, lovely O's.

Chris, thanks for the link and here's a link to Ava's Little Vintage Elephant Store on Instagram. She's on hiatus right now , on Shopify too, but is going to start up again. She loves babies and children so she chose to sell items for them.

That's so sweet that Cait adopted the rats and that the vet loves them.

Felis, I had to smile about you telling me that working on those tiny rats was more expensive. I never thought about it like that, but that makes sense. I can't imagine working on something that tiny. How cute they must be.

Kay, what a lovely day you must have had, sharing those photos and the wonderful back stories. It would be wonderful for you to things down for your kids and everybody else. We have a pretty good sense of what our family was all about, but now Ava is getting really interested in genealogy and I've really had to go back and wrack my brain for some of the things she asks. We get on Ancestry together and she asks me questions. Some of the info she had isn't right, so she's glad to get the correct info. We've actually found a site we like better - "Family Search" - it's run by the Mormon Church and they're amazing. I've found out more there than on Ancestry. I had a great aunt who lived to be 103 and she was our go-to person for my mom's side of the family.

Jean, that's wonderful that you're so involved with genealogy. Is it mainly your family? My husband has become more interested since he retired and has time now. He's uncovered some interesting things about his family. His paternal family came over on a boat, from The Netherlands and went through Ellis Island. He's found the official photograph upon their arrival and pictures of the ship they came over on.

Felis, I loved reading about the song "Santa Baby". I just used it on one of my layouts. My favorite version is Eartha Kitt's song. She's the original. Listen to it if you get a minute. I'm very old school - I like the originals.

I'm going to go see what I need to do today. I'm fighting a cold or something and don't feel very well, so I need to drink lots of fluids today. I will not give in to it and lay down! I must keep moving!:yuck::crutch:

Football Sunday again and Browns are looking good so far. It is gray outside with some of the snow still here.

Chris, lovely that you slept more and feel good. Nice to score double the matzo. Some of us could just eat them. You're doing well with the crocheting and super gift baskets. This year seems to be perfect for them. Does Cait have a holiday break from school and the internship?

Kay, your nephew was so lucky to get the stories from you. Wish you could have taped them but for sure write some down while you're thinking of it. Hope your sister is enough better to lose the oxygen. Keep warm!

Felis, thanks for the reminder of St. Nicholas Day. It doesn't figure much in US celebration. Carp isn't a favored fish here usually so can easily imagine your family wants another. Doing Christmas decorating in parts might make it brighten many days. Sorry you had power going out but hope it's OK now. The different Santa Baby versions are interesting. Haven't heard any of them recently.

Cheryl, hope you don't come down with anything and feel better soon. Don't get me started on genealogy as I can go on and on. I do my family and DH's both ancestors and descendants of some lines. I also help friends and do research for projects at the historical society. Ancestry and FamilySearch are both wonderful, have much of the same data but also much other and other ways to help. But FamilySearch is free. I use both constantly. If you have a library with online access to Ancestry Library Edition, it is available at home through the end of the year (usually only in the library).

Hugs!

good late afternoon - well the day with the kids went so well. Putting Luther in doggie day care was the way to go because after we picked him up all the kids did was scream and Luther bark. Sat started early with me cooking while my DH looked for the ornaments and box of Santas. He quickly found the box of Santas but could not find the ornaments. He looked in one crawl space in the attic only to find it had at one time been invaded by squirrels. So I went up and in 30 seconds I saw the box. Yes it had a fake potted plant on top but I knew right away. I don't think my DH was too happy. I just cared it was found. He then found he needed to go to the store because he forgot an essential ingredient. He ended up having to go twice poor guy. And when he finished cooking the kitchen looked like a disaster. Not only that but he blew a fuse and in doing that he knocked out a fuse which of course knocked out the TV, router, and apple TV box and cable box in the kitchen. I have rigged a work around but damn. Now this am his Keurig does not work. The kids were happy to jump on the bean bag chair and then we decorated. It is really nice to have a tree and all my Santas up. The my oldest arrived while the kids were doing cookie decorating while waiting for dinner. It was so fun to have my boys and their significants and the kids added magic to the holiday. With 2020 as it has been having this day has erased a lot of the worst. After everyone left and it was quiet again my DH went to the TV room to watch TV he could not get it to work. I had to go out and fix it. It was one of those unplug and restart situations but LOL makes me happy that I can solve these problems. I think he gets tired of waiting and just starts pushing buttons and then nothing works. Today is freezing. Went for a short walk as the wind was howling - at least though the sun is shining. Saw a pair of geese and a pair of mallards. I got one of my presents to myself - a pair of shoes. They are awesome and I love them.

Chris so glad you woke up so happy! I love all the gifts you are making for your baskets. Love the dirty ornaments. I hope you take photos. Awesome that Livvie is doing so well after her surgery. That was smart thinking by Cait to use the money from her shop for surgery. I went to her shop. Lots of cute things! She is talented. That was an fantastic compliment from her professor.

Trudy wow that dishwasher is acting like this is 2020. Hope it is an easy solve. One thing this pandemic has taught us is how to shop fast so betting the trip to Costco was in and out.

Kay that was so nice to read that you explained so much to your nephew about his history. That is the one thing I wished I had done is ask more about my family history. We have the bare bones but would love to know more of the back stories. You should definitely write them down. My aunt gave me a few family heirlooms and she wrote their stories and put them inside. So not only do I have the stories but they are in her hand writing. Glad the book was so good. I love serial books but hate when I get to the end or when waiting for the next book to be released.

Cheryl that is something about your Ava and her connection with animals. Hope you don't come down with something.

Rae I saw the post on FB about your birding trip. Wow an eagle. That is so exciting. Rest that back.

Jean congrats and the Browns. You and your DH must be so happy! My son's FIL loves to research our family and he called me a while ago to let me know what he found. It was pretty cool. I am glad he is doing it. I love knowing. Saw your art work beautiful.

Betty Jo my Aunt was a Betty. It is a name not heard that much anymore. I am nearing having to wear double socks. Keep warm.

Felis we do not do St. Nicholas day in my family. Enjoy being with family and your fish dinner. I am going to have to listen to Santa Baby Miley Cyrus version and she her lyrics. I like that you are doing decorating over time. Sure spread the happiness out. Hope the power stays on.

Have a great day!
