I don’t know how you gals keep up with everything here in this thread! I feel like an amateur!

Anyone having family or friends over today? We are havin g the family over. Poor Meli has to work so she has to miss the party.

Our nephew is going into the Air Force in 2 weeks so it may be the last family party with him for a while. If you’re the praying type - pray for his safety. The world is so unsettled right now!
It isn't easy, Susie. You just do the best you can. Have a super fun day, boo the Meli has to work. Best of everything to your nephew as he goes into the Air Force.

I missed this. You need to post the picture again! Or PM me!!

@faerywings I nearly fell off my chair LOL over your different nail polish on each finger and different foundation all over your face!!! That is one way to make the decision on which of those will work for the wedding events.
And yes... it was well worth the effort to uncurl the photos... I am so happy with how the wedding album is coming together. Hope to work on DD#1's wedding photos today. Have to print out the title for it and some frames.

I KNEW you'd "never" believe that I wanted it done and now. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:
Of course! we are two of a kind. Damned it we will wait for someone else to help us once we get a bug in our brain :lol23:
Caitlyn got a titanium, engraved wedding band for Tom but also some silicone ones since he works with his hands and they are safer. I keep tossing the idea around about getting them- LMK if you order them and what you think.

I'm seriously considering getting a couple of them. Have to figure out what size. I will let you know. I'm intrigued. I have such a terrible allergy to any jewelry. I got a necklace recently with Chuck's name and "dates" engraved on it and it breaks my neck out. It's stainless steel, I got it on Etsy and the woman didn't think it would bother me. I need to go to Titanium. (My wedding rings are really thick and big, and has a high stone.) They fit, but that darned knuckle thing - I can wear them for a while, but not everyday, all day.

I can't even express how I felt last night. I did the best I could to describe it, but Adrienne and I both agreed it was in our TOP FEW most wonderful experiences. Roger pretty much summed it up; he said it just touched something deep inside him. I looked at him at one point and he was "somewhere else".

Kay @BrightEyes such wonderful news that you're feeling "normal" again. Go you!

Trudy @taxed4ever Will you survive this long weekend with Gary there??? :floorlaugh::giggle4: Just wait until he retires. That's a HUGE adjustment. o_O

I'll be back later. Ava wants to go to the Cherokee Artist Meet and she's picking me up in thirty minutes. Gotta get a move on!

Mostly I use the quote button as I read. Highlight and "quote" what I want to remember to reply to. I don't have the talent the others have of remembering without quote. LOL. We're not having family but we are babysitting the grands. Prayers for your nephew. May God keep him safe in this crazy world and crazier times. :heartpumppink:
Hard to believe it is September... but am intrigued by the challenges this month. So many of them have caught my attention... now to find time to work on them. :floorlaugh: :spinningchair::coffeescreen:
I haven't looked at them for the reason I dont have time to work on them. I dont want to be tempted when I'm so busy this week. So I have avoided looking. Which also means not goin to the gallery and that is super hard and I will cave soon. I dont want to miss all the amazing artwork. But I cant afford to be distracted :giggle4:

Although I should *not* have looked further- the forecast for September says hurricane threat in the Atlantic- mid-September. And guess where Caitlyn and Tom are honeymooning? A cruise in the Atlantic. The Atlantic is huge- its alllll good.
Not to worry - those cruise lines are experts at avoiding storms. They don't want to risk their billion-dollar ships. Passengers just need to be prepared to see different islands than they expected, or spend some extra sea days exploring cruise activities. Or eating ice cream.

Well, I promised I'd be back. Ava and I left about 12:30 and met Drake's mom back at the fairgrounds this afternoon. I wanted a T-shirt from the 72nd Cherokee PowWow. They were sold out, but we found out that they had some in town at the Cherokee Gift Shop. We stayed and shopped the different tents at the fairgrounds, and it rained torrentially while we were there. We ran from tent to tent, and managed to stay dry. I've been looking for a "wristlet purse" to carry the bare essentials in - my phone, credit card, some cash and my lipstick - and finally found one - native American style. LOVE it. Then when the rain stopped, we went over to the main tent and Deb (Drake's mom) knew a lot of the workers. They gave us the coolest water bottles that have the insignias from the 72nd Cherokee Ceremony. They were full of water, but are refillable - SO cool. Then we left and drove into town to the gift shop and found some T-shirts. I was happy - you know my T-shirt fetish. BTW: I put a video on FB for any of you who follow me. Actually, I put a few on there - I shared a couple of the videos from The Cherokee Nation.
