Morning ladies... it is a quiet morning as DH is still snoring in bed, very unusual for him to sleep in this late, but I guess he needed it! When he does get up and we have our brunch, we will be bottling a very nice red wine and listen to some great music while doing so. I will get the housework done and the rest of the laundry done also :laundry:. I hope to be able to perhaps work on a layout today, there are so many gorgeous new color play to drool over and work with! My DH will be off of work all next week, so I am sure we will be busy getting some yard work and fixing a few things around the house while he is home. We are also going over to Vancouver to a ELO concert on Wednesday and looking forward to getting away for a night. Staying at the Pan Pacific Hotel and enjoying the gorgeous view from our hotel room. Perhaps a nice brunch somewhere and then back on the Hullo Ferry with a stop at Costco in Naniamo on the way back home. So tomorrow I might run out for a bit and do a bit of shopping for a new outfit to wear to the concert. Ok DH is stirring so I will be getting something for us to eat right away. I am starving this morning!! I need another coffee too! I hope you all have a fun day! :waving3:

Good morning!

First day of the Minnesota State Fair set a new attendance record by 5,000 people, there were 179,000 people there. That's exactly 178, 996 more people than I want to be around.
WAAAAAAYYYYYY Too many people!!!! We skipped the fair here for that reason. It opened Friday and I am happy staying home.
@AK_Tracy awwwww-- you call your baby "pig??"
*whispers to Pig* Don't listen to your mom, you are perfect the way you are.
:giggle4:
Yes we call her pig. She's an adorable bundle of extra cushion. She loves being a pig.

Off to feed the piggies. Hoping headache goes away. Didn't sleep well. HAGD

That was the first thing that popped into my mind.:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::rotfl::giggle4:
That doghouse sounds like the Taj Mahal of doghouses.
It's pretty fancy. Roger is going to shingle the roof today when he gets home. He never does anything half way. Ava is puttubg epoxy on the floor today and she said the fumes were terrible - still no AC. She told me to stay away. She has one more coat to put on. I told her she needed a hazmat suit on.

Hey all,

Happy Sunday. I slept great last night. Night before, I think I got 3 hours of sleep. My darned RLS gave me fits all night. Ava's been getting me this Magnesium spray from a local herbalist, and I ordered some from Amazon as a backup. It doesn't work nearly as well. She's going to try to get me some more asap. They started up again last night, but I was so exhausted from not sleeping the night before that I fell asleep anyway. It's a terrible "condition". I've been doing a lot of research and there's quite a bit of new research that's being done. I've started taking some specific supplements in hopes that it will help.

Anyhoo, the only plans I have today now are to go pick up my grocery order at Walmart. I have until 5 to pick it up. They'll start bugging me about 4.

Gotta cut this off now. I'll try to do personals later. Hugs to all. XOXO

This is the one my mom loves from RoweCasa. They also sell it as a lotion or gel. I dont know if its as good as the one you get locally but this was way better of the ones my family had tried. I hope if helps. I take magnesium citrate in pill form every night for my leg cramps.

Thanks for that, Tracy. I might add that to my "tries". I just ordered a probiotic and K2/D3 which were also recommended. I've always taken D3, but the article I read said to add K2.

Started Apples Never Fall last night and we both are enjoying it. The PVR still has a few series to catch up on before the new season starts next month when the PVR will start filling up again.
Hubs and I watched that! It took him a couple episodes to get into it, but we changed our minds on "who dunit a dozen times" I didn't realize there it a second season. Annette Bening & Sam Neill were so good.

Drat! My brain is more than a little sticky, I think it is locked up. :thud:
I had thought of something important I needed to do and by the time I found a piece of paper to write it down, I have no clue at all what it was.

Hmmmmph! :/

Oh, I have to get into Weis before the end of the month to submit my time sheet.
That wasn't what I needed to do but I did think of it as I was rummaging around in my brain, looking for loose threads.

You did good!
I hope that Asher is doing better. Accidents in the house were one of the things that pushed us over when we made the decision for Harley. It broke my heart horribly to see that. BFF and I were talking about that the other day-- how that is one of the hardest decisions to make and we wish we knew when the time was right.
B&BB has the best sales, Caitlyn got a boxload of stuff the other day for around $20. Glad they are replacing the broken items.

@BoatLady I bet your bed is going to feel *amazing* when you get home.

@BrightEyes Good job getting the vax appt done. It's funny/odd/disorienting to think back to 2021 and remember how hard it was to get an appt for the vaxes. I remember logging into CVS a million times a day to see if any slots had opened up, I was on FB groups that would share when they did. Crazy times. :nod1:
That's a process for sure about the curled photos but the end result will be worth it.

@bcgal00 Lots more settled tummy thoughts for Remi and sleepy thoughts for you~~~~
That's hard trying to keep her and Taz from playing with each other. W and J wanted to do the "run around the stairs" a million times when J was not gated in the LR and they were annoyed when I made them stop.
(But how do you keep a straight face when Taz gives you the stink eye? I would be struggling to not LMBO. He is so adorable!)

So glad to hear that! Will you be able to go back to work tomorrow?
LOL at the vet appt-- poor boy is a chonker :D Jaida is a little chunky and we have to be careful due to her 2 bionic knees. Gary has gotten better about not feeding her human food at least. Jaida steals Whisky's dish and carries it to her spot to finish it off-- as if we aren't going to notice 2 bowls in the one area LOL

That has to be really helpful to those who are in it. :hug3:

@AK_Tracy awwwww-- you call your baby "pig??"
*whispers to Pig* Don't listen to your mom, you are perfect the way you are.
:giggle4:

Thank you and thank you! ♥

You girls are too funny! I cannot wait to see the pics!
Yeah, I am with Terri-- are they going to be able to nudge the thermostat? *G*

The links are awesome! Thank you! Caitlyn won't eat zucchini but she can pick it out. Or I can make it with roasted eggplant.
The tacos might work with jackfruit instead of the chicken for Cait and Tom and Gary and I can eat them as written.
TFS!

:rotfl:
I'm wondering if I made mimosas in the plastic-capped style OJ bottle, as long as they are super pressurized, that might work. I could pour the mimosas into paper coffee cups with lids...

hahahaha!!! I know what ya mean...

Love and hugs!
Asher is now confined to his kennel anytime we are not here and during the night.
I was glad we didn't have to put Taffy down! But it was sad to find her dead, too!
I've never purchased anything from BB&B. I need to try it sometime. I always go to Bath & Body Works.

Hiiii! *waves at everyone*
My brain is still acting a little sticky. I couldn't remember where the exclamation point was located on my keyboard for a second. Which is bonkers because I don't think I can type a post *without* using an excessive amount of !!!

How is everyone's weekend so far? Yesterday was jam-packed here but all (mostly) in good ways. It's never a good thing to go to the FP but I was super excited to get dog food and plant-based meat so I'll put that in the Mostly Good Column. I also found Bride and Groom Champagne glasses on one of the Free Tables. The ribbons were a little messy but I'm sure Cait can fix them up. She didn't want to spend money on a set so free was perfect!

I cannot say enough times how much I love Sam and Jen. (It kills me that Scott dated Jen in HS for a year and he and Sam have been living together for a year and they are all best friends.:lol23: ) Jen and I always got along great when they were in HS and it still cracks me up that she still always calls me mom or momma.
Those girls are going to keep my girl steady the entire wedding day. They had notebooks and questions and took photos of every last inch of space of the venue. We got back and recreated the table setting so we could see how they would look with her table runners and bud vases. I had to use a bedsheet as the tablecloth and used TV trays to build out the table to the right length but it worked. I know they worked on getting the favors put together after I went to bed so there isn't much left to do that will be super time-consuming. They also put together the arch that will be used as the altar and tried different ways of draping the fabric and flowers. Also taking photos every step of the way.

Gary has been working on getting the upstairs cleaned as best he can. The media room (his office area) was a disaster but he has been going nonstop to get it nice when Tom's family comes here for the rehearsal. He wants to make sure it looks perfect when they see where Tom is now living.

Yay, we are getting there!

Today I think I am going to work in the backyard since that is where we will set up the "altar" for the rehearsal. I started the grocery order and I think I need to do something with my nails too. That will be *after* I do yard work LD

Have a fab day!
You have good reason for your brain to be sticky! You will need a vacation after your daughter's wedding!

Just saying :wavinghello:

I've been busy all day with Adrienne and am getting ready to go to Ava's for the rest of the evening. We're painting the inside of the dog house (the Hyatt Regency of dog houses) and we're going to paint paw prints on one wall. It's really big, has windows and even AC. Ava and Drake have 3 big dogs and they need to get them out of the house - so Roger commandeered building this giant "dog house". It's in the final stages of being finished. Drake is having friends over to play cards, so Ava and I will be out in the doghouse. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Hopefully, I'll have pics to post after this evening. I know Ava has been documenting the progress.

Just didn't want you to think I'd disappeared off the face of the earth.

XOXO
HA! I know the real reason for the huge dog house with AC! ;). He can't fool us! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Whew what a day. Its been a week. Whiney moment. I think I burned a spoon or two and I can't find them. Starting tomorrow a spoon down and I need that spoon as its Costco run day. August birthday pile up, two homemade cakes, dinner, TOOO many people this past week and I am social out. Work didn't help, jamming in PT and trying to be here for my family. Someone lend me a spoon or ten! This next week has no down time either. I am trying super hard to mentally prepare for it, but I already feel behind and wore out. Its almost 9 and I think bed is next. Who cares is there's no clean undies or dishes. I sure dont. :giggle4:
