This mama's heart is happy. I love having the "kids" home again. I am so relieved that Cait is back with her rats too. You all know how concerned I was about that. Cait would have had a very hard time if they died or even suffered while she was away. Good thing I was able to spoil them a bit (a lot!).
Yesterday, I went up to feed them. They are eating their regular nuggets but some baby food meat and veggies as a supplement. Clover is losing regular weight as the tumor "steals" much of the nutrients. I have two little capfuls of turkey and sweet potatoes on the floor of the cage and for some ridiculous reason, Muffin had to climb on top of Clover to get to the one on the opposite side. She was literally standing on top of Clove's head, *after* she stepped into the dish of sweet potatoes. I was LMBO and had to take a series of pictures to send to Caitlyn.
When the kids got home, J and W were practically bouncing up on them, tails going a mile a minute. Even Ray was happy. When Pook went upstairs, her girls came running to the front of the cage to see her. I think the pets were happier to see them than I was. LOL
I have good news from my parents. My dad has not had any more vertigo incidents since his accident and he bought a car. It is a used CRV, very similar to the ones he has been driving all along and he had no problems driving it home. Aside from the fact that the dealership was close to where DT is on vacation and all of the roads were closed and detoured. It took them forever to get back home. But he did it and I think this is going to make things a lot easier on both my mom and dad. Whew!
It is going to rain all day here so I think I am going to do some housework and maybe either scrap or do some work on organizing my stash. I cannot find anything between my computer and the Shop here. I spend more time looking for things than actually scrapping.
The four of us watched Harry Potter 4 last night and I think we might watch #5 tonight.
Have a fab day and hugs to all of you!
