ye gads!!!! It is sooooo humid here in NJ, I feel like a wet sponge!:faint:

Do I want to do housework in this? Not a chance LOL
I guess I have to do a little bit, but thankfully I have a quiet weekend, so I can do a little bit today and a little bit tomorrow.

We were supposed to have a garage sale again, but the weather seems to be not cooperating. Which is fine by me since the past few weeks were brutal. *fingers crossed for a calmer one coming up*

What good plans do all of you have? Any fun scrapping?

Have a great one, and I'll be back soon!

hi, O-zies! the weekend has arrived. cold and gray and gloomy where i am, but hey. it beats 95 degrees!! Chris, it's 57 degrees here at the mo and really comfortable, so you can probably look forward to THAT. yesterday the humidity was driving me NUTS, so that must be what you have now. take heart! it gets better.

i feel like i'm actually getting stuff done, and it's only 10:49! did my roundandround walk, got my Anna forum post done and made a page. WOOT!! i think there's some housework in my immediate future, too. and laundry. and getting a card together for Hubby for our 35th anniversary next week. :hug:that seems so totally weird. imagine being with someone almost twice as long as you lived with your mom and dad. that always amazes me. i guess these are the milestones you look at as you attain Great Age! :help:

hope everyone enjoys their weekend. wine may be the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything.:partywine

Oooooooooooooooooo we have a nice cooler day too here in Alberta... I'm so happy, I got up and cleaned like madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The extreme heat just wears me out, even though we enjoy heading to the water every day.. a cooler day is in order too. And we have to butcher the rest of our chickens today so Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy for cooler days!

sticky here too and i'm glad there's now a stiff breeze blowing , got all my washing dried outside so tomorrow it's back to the ironingboard. Or shall I try and escape into the bay with my kayak? What if I take Jo, that's a good excuse.
I've been cleaning caravans and washing and writing and cooking and knitting and ... time to switch off and read my book instead.

Wow- this conference at I am at- all about Balance Vision Rhythm- I can now bounce two racquet balls and then keep them bouncing with only one hand- I can do other cool ball tricks too! Now to teach them to others- to help with visual tracking, attending and balance.

Gooooood Evening ladies!!!!!!!!!!

I usually have this lady make them..they are cute and such a wonderful cake..but she is expensive and I just can't do it anymore...so I went in search of a princess cake...WOOOOOT!! I found one!! but I didn't have everything (pan wise) to make it...but like any good Nana...I improvised...and I was pretty happy with the results.. not quite the same..but she will love it!! Most of you have seen on FB...but here it is again....:becky:

Phylis...LMAO at the living with someone longer than you lived with your parents...Bad thing is....they make you want to go baack and live with your parents at times!!! :hurt: Congrats on the 35 years sweetie

Jen..............okay...picture of chickens running around with no heads!!!!!!!! I saw the tubing photo on fb....you looked cool to me!! :becky:

Ellen...Take me in the kayak...I have never been in one....it would be fun....JUST DON'T TIP IT OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay....off to go pick the kiddos up from Mom's....

Hi Laurie!!!!! posting at the same time!!! Sounds like you are learning new stuff at the conference AWESOME!!!

what an amazing cake, I've never seen one like it.
You're a pro Linda, and the kids are so lucky to have you. I think there's too much wind today to climb in the kayak but when we go we'll take the double , you cannot tip that one up. It's a Pouch.

up, need to get ready for the day, we will be leaving the hotel and heading out to learn more amazing ball skills, learn more about using them with people 5-105! Then, home to see my husband- will be so happy, except for work tomorrow.

Good morning and Happy Sunday!

I really was planning on heading back over here. But then my friend called to ask if cait and I wanted to head down to Denville and do some bisque painting too (GMTA Nana!). I really wasn't planning on going any where, but Cait and my mom were trying to work how to get together to do some back to school clothes shopping. (When Cait and I shop together it is very unpleasant, so when my mom offers to take her I jump all over it!)
Guess what town my mom lives in? 5 minutes away from the Bisque shop. I took that as a sign to head down, Cait painted a Hippie-Frog that will be her Christmas gift for Scott, I scammed some dinner with my mom and left my daughter very happy to be shopping without me. I mean, with her Grandma. LOL

Win-Win......

The bad part is that all of the work I wanted to do yesterday is waiting for me today, so meh to that.....
The good news is that I slept relatively decently last night. I did have some weird dreams about trick our treating in 4 feet of snow and having dogs lining up for treats with us..... But sleep is sleep and I feel somewhat human.

Off to get a cup of coffee, can I out any for you?
:tea:

be back in 1 minutes.....

I am back!

yay coffee!! All hail coffee! :hail:

Phyllis- no cold and gloomy here, it actually looks to be a gorgeous day. I really want to get out and do some yard work. But I bet you'll take cold and dreary over that heat and humidity.
Congrats on the upcoming anniversary! 35 is *very impressive! :first:
It always amazed me how long Gary and I have been together and not killed each other. hahahah!! (its been very close on occasion but I am not strong enough to dig a grave :) )

Hi jen, soooo nice to see you in the Oooos! Glad that weather is cooling off for you too. And please, don't lie to me, chicken comes from the supermarket, wrapped in plastic, nowhere else. Got it??
JK!!!:D (Actually I get a bit squeamish when I think of food-meat coming from animals. I;d make a great vegetarian if I liked more veggies. LOL)

Ellen, I think Jo would love and escape! Have fun!

Laurie- can you teach me that too? I am a klutz!!! Drive safe home!

Nana, give your Jaid-a-Bug a kiss from me!!!!! Your cake is fan-TASTIC!!!!!!! You rock!!

Well, I guess I should be on my way if I am ever going to get anything accomplished, even though I think accomplishments are *highly* over-rated....

::grouphug

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHRIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hurt: your dreams are always entertaining for the rest of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What did you paint?? I want to paint today, but someone has to take pictures!! :becky: maybe I can do both...Sounds like you and Cait both are happy....:pound: SUPER YAY FOR AWESOME GRANDMA'S!!!!! (nana's )

Ellen....I like the sound of that double!!! I am just a taddish afraid of the water!!

Laurie....are these skills for people with physical disablities??? I don't know why, but I thought you worked with kids with the mental/emotional/behavior disiablities.
