Happy Saturday O-Fam, how are all of you doing?

I hope that all of you are well! We *finally* have sunshine today, although it is very windy. The forecasters are saying how is is "chilly" with a High of 47*F-- All I can say is that yes, it *is* freezing... *but* compared to what we had a couple of weeks ago-- it is balmy!

I think I have a lot of the "winter dog poop" scooped, at least I hope I do. My mom was funny- I was out there scooping, when she pulled into my driveway yesterday. She was so happy to see me outside, even if it was only for a couple of minutes with a pooper-scooper in hand!

I am going to try to tidy my house up a bit today. I think that the spring cleaning fever is hitting a bit.

Enjoy!

Good Morning Chris and the rest of the O fam- hope you are having wonderful weekends. I am enjoying the sun- I need to go out and pick up branches. I made rolls for tomorrow- my contribution. Will have EAster dinner with son and his gf. I need to upload the last of my layouts for the birthday challenges- must make myself bill pay first.

Morning ladies a quick :plane: from me today, as we are off to the Lake to help out the In-Laws. Then a nice Ham Dinner with them! Looks like the sun is trying to make an appearance today! Hope you all enjoy a beautiful Saturday!!

Mmm mmmm! I am happily munching away on my Easter Pie. Sooo good!!!!
Taking a bit of a break too- I vacuumed the LR, and folded a load of laundry and chopped onions/carrots/celery for soup tonight.
I think that is more than I have done all week! Oh yeah, I also hard boiled eggs for the kids to dye tomorrow. I got them a Monster egg dying kit.

Laurie- enjoy being outside today. IKWYM about no energy on rainy days. Today is the most energy I have had in a long time!

Nancy- when we went out to lunch yesterday,. I didn't need a coat- I had a sweatshirt, but that was it! You have been rocking the b-day challenges. I wish I had more time and energy to leave love on all of them!

Trudy- I hope your stomach holds up ok-- was it last time at your MIL's that you got sick? Bring some Pepto Bismal for the car ride home ;)
Thank you for the hugs, you know I really appreciate them and can feel them out here on the East Coast! There is no recipe for her Easter pie-- Ricotta, ham, bologna, pepperoni, baked in a Pizza dough crust.

Yeah - the rolls I made turned out and I finished all the bday challenges- 9 layouts in less than 2 weeks- woo hoo

Happy Easter to those who celebrate that, happy Passover to those who celebrate that, and Happy Sunday to everyone who celebrates *that.* Did I cover everyone?
Oops! Nope. One more.

Happy Monday to the Down Under girls!

:tea:

Yesterday morning, I was feeling pretty decent. I was good, I tried to take breaks, but by 2 pm, I was toast! I was very glad that I had most of dinner prepped.
Now I am up and need to get a bit of things ready for when my parents come for b-fast. My mom is a doll, as you all know. But she insisted on bringing up a salmon, and fresh broccoli for me to cook tonight. #1. We don't celebrate Easter. We dye eggs b/c is it fun. That is all. (My atheist son had Seder with Leah last night and Easter here today-- more religion in one weekend than any of us had in forever LOL)
So now I have to cook salmon and all that tonight. I don't wanna cook. *stomps feet*
It will be fine. And i do like salmon and can't afford it on my budget. :p

You know how I said that if I had a personal maid I would want fresh sheets on my bed every night? I think a personal chef would be a better deal. :hungry:

It is 8am, better get the boiled eggs out of the fridge so they can come to room temp before the kids get up to dye them.

xoxoxo!

Laurie!! WTG on finishing the challenges! Awesome!!!
Enjoy your Easter dinner with your son.

I guess everyone else is busy cooking and visiting and off to Church.
Have a great day!

good morning - Happy Easter! The wind seems to have calmed today but yesterday's walk was a challenge. Then I started watching my Devils play the Rangers but when the score was 3 -0 in the first 10 min I said thanks but I will find something else to watch. The final score was 6-1 Rangers. Yikes! Today we are going up to my DILs parents. My DH is making dessert and I made a salad. Made my salad last night so I am just enjoying the morning. I will try to get a walk in before we go.

Hope you all have a great day!
