Hi ladies...

Feeling a bit better today...but still a little foggy!! Dr said I definately had an allergic reaction to the sudafed....so no more for me!!....

I need to catch up on the dailys before I leave some personals...so I will come back later today for that...

but for me....I am headed out in a bit to meet Traci...I want to get Jesse a pair of shoes...he starts preschool on Monday...YAY!!! such a big boy!! two days a week. The rest of the day I am going to try to see if my head will let me scrap some today...just not sure....I am having a hard time typing now...Chris...I really see what you mean about your head being in a fog....

Well...I am off...I hope you girls have a great day!!! It's sunny and beautiful here...high around 75...a perfect day!!!:p

(((HUGS)))

Good morning my lovely Os!!!! Hope the morning/evening is as nice as you all are :). I have got to get up off my hiney and go to the grocery this morning, as soon as I put little Davy back in her cage with some food :). Then when I get back I have to vacuum, ugh.

DH and I ended up not going to a movie, he went and got his eyes checked and his vision is still 20/20!! The doc said he is just suffering from eye fatigue.

So, tonight I'm going out with my friends to see some other friends who have a band play...it will be fun except that it is at a place that allows smoking. The city is smoke-free but not the county and this place is just outside city limits LOL, so they take advantage and the ventilation doesn't keep up...you can't even cut the stuff with a knife. I'd hate to see my poor lungs when I come out of there. I know afterwards my throat is raw the next day. Alas, it doesn't stop me from going ;).

Ok, that's enough about me....for now LOL...y'all know how I loooove talking about me...hehehehe.

Oh, wait, that didn't last long....has anyone seen "The Other Boleyn Girl" yet? I caught it the other night on one of the movie channels, I was impressed, it was very good. Then "10 Things I Hate About You" came on and I couldn't help myself, I have seen it probably ten times but I had to watch it again LOL...I was up until 1am watching movies!

Ok, enough already...my DD is waiting for me...I told her I was getting ready to leave for the grocery....she and DH get so tired of me doing this....I'm sure none of you do this....sit back down at the puter for "just a minute" and make everyone wait on you??? LOL

(((hugs))) everyone and enjoy your Saturday!!!

((((((LINDA)))))) Feel better honey and don't do too much!!!!! While you are getting better it should all about YOU You YOU!!!!!! Just tell the family Dawn and the rest of the Os said so ;).

Hi my lovlie-Os!
I am here just for a quick shout out.

Hanging in by a thread. More issues with Scott and the school wants to do a full work up/Child Study thingy. That is what the mtg is going to be about. They want to send him to a neuro/psychologist etc.Totally freaking. Not sure what I think either- am I just in denial that there is a bigger problem? Is it just the Lyme stuff? Is he just pushing boundaries?
On top of that there have been a few small points not adding up from what the Guidance Counselor is saying to what I have observed. I am not saying she is lying, but I am concerned.

Today starts Cait's birthday weekend. *eye roll*
Not good.... I think I am ready.... but I really just want to stick my head in the sand, or under the covers....

ahhh crud- I didn't mean to get all off tangent, I just wanted to say hi.

Hope everyone feels better, has a wonderful relaxing weekend, gets their finances in order, and know I love them!

Good morning ladies!

Linda W...glad that you found at what caused it at least. But not good having your head in a fog!

Chris...I hope that the weekend goes smoothly. Tell Cait happy birthday from her O aunties!

Dawn, that sounds like so much fun to get to go and listen to the band. I must admit, the smoke doesn't sound like much fun!

Sydney definitely has a stomach bug. But no fever so I think that it's just a bug. Both she and mommy had nasty stomachs last night. I seem to have bounced back and she felt better this morning but she is asleep again. We've snuggled and read books and I think now she just needs to get that little body energized again. Hopefully Shaun and Brian resist the bug!

I'm going to try to get some scrapping done today. I'm behind on everything. Story of my life!

awww, ((((Chris)))) I can't even imagine! Well, ok, I kinda can having gone through heavy stuff with Amanda. But not the school stuff...and def not the lyme stuff! Only IMHO of course but I would imagine that Scott's lyme issues really make it so much harder for him to cope with school/peer pressures. There he is at that really tough age anyway, and I know I don't know what he is like day to day but from what it sounds like he doesn't appear ill from the outside all the time even when he feels like crap inside so perhaps his friends and teachers don't understand about the lyme? That must make it harder on him...probably tears him up inside, having to go on with his day when he would rather just lie in bed with the head under the covers right along with you perhaps rather than face people that don't understand. Is there any kind of homebound program his school offers? Or maybe you could drive him back and forth to Sally's everyday LOL, sorry not trying to make light of your situation, just trying to make you smile :).

Hang in there sweetie and know we are all praying for you and thinking of you!!

Linda-Hope little Sydney feels better soon! Glad you are over the worst of it, hope the men have tougher bellies :). Have a great day!!

So, made it back from the grocery $166 poorer + $35 for gas ugh! This has been one expensive wk counting the trip. We really shouldn't have gone but you only live once, right?! I kind of hate to go out tonight...hmm...should I not...probably not...probably will though hahaha.

Ok, off to vac...or scrap LOL.

Good morning. I am rocking a headache this morning. I'm hoping it will go away soon. I am currently listening to Addie bang stuff around in her room. She totally woke up on the wrong side of the bed so I put her back in her room and now she's screaming. Fun times.

Today should be a good day though. My sister is taking the kids for the night, church and then a birthday party. Tomorrow should be good too, although we have a kids birthday party at a kids playplace so I may leave there with a new headache. Hopefully this one goes away by then so that the party is fun. SO that's my weekend. DH is at the REI garage sale. He wants to buy all sorts of stuff but the budget is reeling him in a bit. Yay for budgeting.

LindaW - Sorry you are in such a fog. I hate those days. I've been having them lately too. I hope you feel better soon and are able to get some scrapping done.

LindaS - I definately hope you feel better today and that nobody else gets sick. There is nothing quite like having the entire house sick at one time. I hope you guys quarantined yourself in the house and everyone is completely healthy by tomorrow.

Chris - That really sticks about Scott and school. I hope that everything gets worked out. My mom had many issues with me and school and had several meetings. The teachers, counselors and principal just don't get it. I remember my mom being so mad when the principal told her that maybe I just need to have some disappointment...this was after 2 years of being sick. That didn't go over very well and they definately got a piece of my mom's mind at that. Fortunately everything got all worked out though. It just took a little bit. My parents weren't sure it would happen but I did graduate and then was able to join the military. I hope it all comes together for you. If you ever need some encouragement or advice about the anger and frustration of sick kids in high school let me know. Big hugs!!

Dawn - Have fun with your scrapping, since I am sure it will win over the vaccuming. LOL!! I am not looking forward to grocery shopping either. Ugh!!

dawn, I am soooo scrapping instead of laundry here!! LOL!!! I know what you mean about grocery and gas bills...although lately our gas bill has been very low for our trucks!! it's cause Mr Gorgeous works from home! nice!!! you enjoy yourself tonight and have a great YOU TIME!!!

clara, ohhh you enjoy your fun weekend!!! i know you'll pop in and keep us posted. I have to say it was soo quiet here when you were at DMB!! :) hugs!!

LindaS, HUGS to you and SYD!!!! ohhh I'm sorry your cutie pie is sick...and yes, we are praying angels around Brian and Shaun!!! no more sickness in the Os!! :) (enjoy your scrapping and remember, no stress here, babe!! :) )

CHRIS!!!! Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs!! you know you can always drive Scott over here everyday...may not help your financial situation any with those gas prices!! heeheeheehee!! I love ya, and want you to know that you (and Scott) will get through this with FLYING Colors!! yay!!! Hugs, babe!!!!

ohhh LINDAw, your babies are growing up!!! wow!!! I can't imagine what it will be like with grandchildren...omgosh, let me get through this school year first!! LOL!!! heheee!! enjoy your shopping and scrapping today!! I LOVE SATURDAYS!!! :)

so the concert last night was a hit...I have these incredible pics that Megan took that I am sooo stoked about!! So I hope to play with those today and get them uploaded on FB...and maybe do a LO or two.

Cora finally had her bday party last night and this morning...it was major LOW budget!! I grabbed some scrapbook kits that a friend had given me and some "spa" items and packed them all in a basket and decorated the table with jars with jellybeans in them with fun pennants with the girlies' initials glitterized and all on them!! Soo cute!! My mom came over yesterday to help me make them...fun, fun, fun! (all stuff from my stash!! and left overs from my stamping workshop!!) Then today we went to Jamba Juice ($29!!! a lot, but again, they are worth it and that was for 6 of us, 5 teenies and me!) and Hobby Lobby, where they bought tshirts to paint and some puff fabric paint to write their names! ($22)...that was it!! can you believe a 15 yr old bday party for $51??? pretty cool, I think!! :)

So, this afternoon Quent has a football game; it should be pretty tough. the boys on the opposing team are really really big and were close to undefeated last year...*sigh* but it'll be fun just to get good pics. We will be on a great field for picture taking, so I'm looking forward to that!

Well, I'm off to make Lil and me lunch!! I hope to be on later scrapping!!! and editing pics and just having a lot of fun...let me see if I can post at least one pic of last night's concert! I did post my fave one on my FB acct!! :)

love you girlies!!

okay...so here's a quick shot of band last night...this is the one song that I play the tambourine on!! (isn't that fun??? me on the tambo???) sorry you can't see our drummer...

happy saturday, everyone!!! :)

Hi girls, happy weekend. I am vegging out on the sofa while DH watches college football.

We had such a fun day - the weather was just about perfect here. We took Christian to the barber for a haircut, lunched at Fuddrucker's, and then went apple picking. What fun that was. Now, we have 15 lbs of apples - anyone know any good apple recipes?? LOL.

LindaW - Hope you're feeling better and that you had a good time with Traci.

Chris - hugs, my friend. I am sorry that you are going through a rough time right now with Scott at school.

Dawn - I love that 10 Things I Hate About You movie - I would be watching it right along with you! I did see the Other Boleyn Girl too, but I definitely liked the book better.

Linda - Hoping you and Syd are feeling better and you got to scrap!

Sally - awesome photo from the concert! So glad that Cora had a fun bday party - now that's my kind of party budget! What a rockin mama, you are!

Clara - hope the headache passed and you enjoyed your evening!

Love to you all!

Hello my sweeties girls-- it is Sunday and I am on Party Day Round 2.
Still not feeling so hot- I realized yesterday that I must be herxing. Feeling flu-ish, stomach upset, dizzy etc-- yup, its a herx. Not the weekend I need to be having one, but better that I have one, than not.

Linda W-- Sudafed is EVIL!! Hope that you are feeling better- lots of fluids to flush your system.

Linda S hope that you and Syd are feeling lots better!

Dawn- Did you like the Other Boleyn Girl? Would Gary watch it with me you think? Loved the book, am now reading the Boleyn Inheritance. How was the band? Since I quit smoking, I have a hard time being around a lot of smokers. Thankfully NJ is all smoke free. Not that I go to clubs any more, but if I ever do head out of my cave... its good to know I can breathe ;)

Clara- hope your day with Addie got better and that your head is good too.

Sally- I might have had ya beat on the party- I had 7 kids including cait- bought the movie for $9 on amazon, 1 box of popcorn $1.39, some water bottles/juice boxes and soda, a few boxes of "movie candy" and about $4 in Dollar store junk for the goodie bags. The cake was the most expensive- she really wanted an ice cream cake - but I found one on sale and with a coupon for $14
Glad that the girls had so much fun- give Cora a belated b-day hug!
Loved the pics of you guys on stage!!! Next year-- I will get to hear you sing again-- in person!!!

ME- apples! yum!! applesauce, apple crisp, apple cake, baked apples... apples and brie in a whole wheat wrap for lunch...
Hope the rest of your weekend is amazing!

Too everyone else who comes in-- lots of hugs!

Better get myself going- I have 17 people coming for brunch in 2 1/2 hours....

*whispers to self-- its only family, its only family, no stress....*

Syd is back to normal this morning...full of energy and making up for lost time from yesterday.

Chris, have fun with the brunch. And 17 people is a bunch...but again...only family...no stress. Which reminds me, if you ever invite all of us O's over, we are only family and no stress! :-)

ME, sounds like a wonderful fall afternoon! We need to add some apple picking here as well. We used to have a wonderful orchard about 10 minutes from our house. Great kids activities! I used to take my nieces and nephew. But it closed the year before we brought Sydney home. So my kids have never picked apples. I need to change that this year!

And Chris, the wrap with brie and apples sounds wonderful. I need to add that to my fall lunches.

Sally, I so wish that I could have been at that concert. I know it would have ministered to my soul!

Hugs ladies. Enjoy your Sunday.

Chris-I hope you get to feeling better!! Sounds like a fun b-day for Cait :). I think Gary would like The Other Boleyn Girl, it's not too slow and the story is awesome. I'm sure your get together will go fine!!!

Have a great day :).

Mary Ellen-yummy Apples!! I'm not much on recipes since I rarely cook anymore LOL...but I can sure eat an apple....I like them with cheese and crackers hahaha. Sounds like you guys had a fun day! Hope you have a fun Sunday, too :).

Sally-wooo hooo look at you rockin'!!!! I'd have loved to have been there. I love inspirational music :). Cora's party sounds like it was a big hit! how was Q's football game? Have a great Sunday!!

Today my son is coming to visit, that sounds so weird to me, so I'm making lunch...chicken and dressing. Since I cook sooooo much (NOT) I'm out of everything, I thought I had gotten everything yesterday at the store but have already had to send Amanda and now DH back for ingredients LOL. Something so simple is turning into a headache hahaha. This is why I don't cook, I just simply don't enjoy it, I'd rather grab a bowl of cereal or cheese and crackers. I am trying to change my attitude though now that Johnie has moved out because hopefully one day he will have a family and I will want to have get togethers....and what do people usually do at those?! EAT. Somehow I don't think they'd appreciate it as much if we went out...hmmm...of course I could just get DH to grill...

Ok, now why am I stressing over something that hasn't even happened yet?! LOL

Anyway, I ended up staying home last night. Davy had a yucky tummy, bunny diarrhea, it's better now as far as I can tell, but I was worried last night. I just couldn't leave her.
I watched a movie on Sci-Fi that was pretty good "Open Graves", and actually went to bed fairly early 10:30. Gotta get back in the working groove for tomorrow, ugh. I have enjoyed my time off and staying up late scrapping and watching tv LOL.

Well, I'm starting to think DH got lost!!! He's throwing lunch later and later ;). darn it. Uh oh here he comes....time to go cook, ugh.

(((hugs))) and happy Sunday to everyone!!

Well, I guess everyone's enjoying Sunday with their fams! DS didn't stay long, just ate and worked on his car with dad then left again. I watched a movie with DH until he fell asleep then I came in here to scrap....I developed a yucky migraine this morning while I was cooking, yuck. Probably all the anticipation of the work week coming up as I hadn't had a headache the whole time I was off hahaha.

Ok, I'm off to scrap some more!
