HI ladies.....

I was up super early this morning...4 am to be exact....been laying on the couch watching TV....

I have been sick most of this week...felt better by Thursday....

I went to the DR yesterday to get back on some meds to help me "cope" with life.

The last couple of days have been the calmest I have had in a while now....and today I have the house to myself all day...I am going to get a pedicure (something for ME) and get my cleaning done...then I will see what time it is and try to SCRAP...I have missed my scrapping!!! I have made about 3 pages in a month...and most of you know me, I scrap almost EVERY day one to three pages!!!!

I hope you all have great weekends!!!!  to everyone!!

How I have missed you!!

I am sorry that you have been sick, but I am glad that you are feeling better. I hope that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. I can't wait to see you fill up your gallery with goodness!

xoxoxo!!!

Hi everyone!! I had Gary let the doggy outside around midnight, so she wouldn't wake me up at 5am. I got to sleep until 7.30. Ahhh! Looks to be a beautiful day today. We are off to MIL's for a family BBQ this afternoon. Hope to snap some pics. I have nothing new to scrap.
Like nana- i miss scrapping too.

Hope that everyone has a fabulous weekend!

WOw Nana - you scrap everyday? 1 - 3 pages!!! Impressive.

I was also up early - despite going to bed at midnight. I have a sore throat and have had for about 8 days now. It's funny I thought it was strep so I tried going to the dr on tuesday night but couldn't get in to see one. By the next day I was feeling so much better - my husband was joking that it was because I *went* to the dr. HAHA

afternoon- dance this morning, then shopping at kohls and grocery with mr. gorgeous. He helped pick out artwork for our newly painted bedroom! He had admired artwork by Christian Nesvabda when we visited an art gallery, but by the time we decided we could seriously consider buying a piece of his art, he had died in an accident and we were unable to. The piece we bought reminds us of the art we wanted as it has bright poppies, but is not an oil and was much cheaper between it's sale and my 30% off coupon.!

Good afternoon!

Not sure what I am doing for the moment. I want to get a manicure and go bra shopping (I have never in my life bought a decent bra) but I have to wait for my parents to get home since I have Ethan and he's going to a baseball game with my mom. I can't take him with me. I get to go to a game tomorrow with my dad. Should be fun. Tonight I'll get to some of my friends at church (so much fun to go to my home church and see my friends from here). One bad thing about coming back to WA is it reminds me how much I miss things here. Makes leaving hard. I am also missing my husband. I even had crazy dreams about it last night. Will be glad when he finally gets here. My mom is still stressing about silly wedding things that aren't her job to stress about. She's good at getting other people stressed about them so that she can be allowed to stress about them. It is kinda funny to watch. I continue to tell her to chill but that doesn't work much. It also bothers her when other people don't stress when she thinks they should be stressed about something. My dad and I just kinda watch and laugh.

Linda - Yay for coping medicine. I'll bet your health is directly related to your stress. I hope your meds help. I'm glad you have a little bit of calm for today.

Chris - yay for sleeping in. 7:30 is hardly sleeping in for me, but I know that is HUGE for you. Smart thinking about the dog. How ar you feeling w/o your meds? And Gary? I hope much better.

Blue Bell - Strep is the worst. I'm glad you are feeling better for whatever reason. Thanks for joining us in the Daily O's. I love new faces.

Trudy - Yay! Yay! Yay! for the grandkids visit. I'll bet you are over the moon about it. That should make shopping much more fun today.

Laurie - That art work is very pretty and looks great there. Too bad about that artist you guys like.

Jean - enjoy the game. Who are you watching? We are watching Mariners/Rangers this weekend.

Hugs to everyone else who stops in.

Hello ladies.

Chris...I can't believe the good news that I read in yesterday's post! How wonderful about the meds!!!!

Nana Linda...so good to see you back in here. I hope that things get back to normal for you.

Waving hi to everyone else!

We put mom in hospice Thursday. They say it may be a couple of days...or it may be a couple of weeks. I've stayed the past couple of nights. She has trouble breathing and then she gets scared so they call me. If I'm there she isn't so scared.
And Sydney went with me last night...it's a beautiful place. Praying for comfort now and that God will release her soon.

Did take time today to purchase iPod Touches for both kids. They had to read 100 books each to earn these and they did! Tonight going to my nephew's baseball game...in tourney play now so one loss sends them home. And praying that Mom can make it through the night tonight because I'm sooooo tired!

Linda - I have been thinking about you and will continue to pray. The last days are so hard with so many mixed emotions. I'll pray that you have to strength to get through and to be there for your family and for your family to be there for you. Hugs!!

morning all - mr gorgeous got the lights in the basement ceiling moved and put on a dimmer, and he ran the speaker wire so when we get speakers we have the wiring ready. The amish gentleman that we wanted to hire to do the mudding of the walls was working on building a house and was on the second floor, stepped back into the stair opening and fell 20'- lacerated his head, fractured his skull and vertebra and is now in a halo (screws into head and rests on shoulders to prevent head movement) so we will have to see if his older brother can do it. Just thankful he is healing. Today we are off to church, I have paperwork to do and then I am going to "work" with mr. gorgeous- well I will ride with him, sit in the car and play on my tablet while he works and then we are going out to dinner.

Good Morning my "O" ladies!! Off to a wedding shower today for my niece, it's been very :rain: here the whole weekend so I sure hope it clears up a bit for this event!!

LindaS - My heart breaks for you! Those last few days with your mother will be so hard for you, I went through this with my mother and I was so very thankful that I could be with her until the end! It is so bittersweet watching them slowly leave us, but the knowledge that there will be no more suffering lightens the heartache a bit. to you sweetie you are a very strong and loving daughter!!

Chris - Happy that you got to sleep in this weekend! Hope that you are feeling good without the meds!

Clara - Did you get your manicure? Yes go bra shopping it is so great to have a really good bra!! You should treat yourself to one for sure! Hope your mom stops stressing over the wedding!! Enjoy your time at home!

Laurie - I love your new painting for your bedroom! How awful about the Amish gentleman!! Poor man, hope that he heals well and can get his life back to normal! Have fun working on your tablet today!

Jean - How was your baseball game?

BlueBell - So glad that your sore throat is feeling better!

Our shopping trip ended up taking 4hrs! But we did manage to find some fun things for the grandkids! We bought some sticker books, bubbles for blowing outside, coloring books and crayons and a great water table to play with on the sundeck, hopefully that should keep them happy in between visits to the beach and swimming. We did manage to get groceries during that time too, so all set for another week and then the house will be full of all the people we love the most!! Can't wait!
Have a great day everyone

Today just trying to keep cool. Right now watching our baseball team on TV. Yesterday was the Fox Saturday baseball, a chance for those of us without cable to watch other teams. Genealogy bloggers have some group events and every Saturday night there is a fun thing to blog about. Last night we did a post on our 16 great-great grandparents with a pie chart of where they were born. It was fun and interesting.

Linda S, you are so strong! We all are here for you.

Hope all you busy ladies are having a good day.

Clara, love the flying avi!
