Okay....Up at 6 am on Saturday morning....WHY CAN'T I SLEEP IN???

I seriously have no idea what I am doing today yet.....I thought I had a plan...but I guess I don't now!!

So what are the plans this weekend ladies????

I need to get some more coffee....:tea: anyone want to join me?

coffee - bill pay- done- dance lesson- wait for the phone guy (land line- still don't know why we have it) going to a wine tasting and dance function tonight- tomorrow will be real life weekend- laundry paper-work and week prep- hopefully more hot tub time spread in there as well! Oh I think I forgot to put in exercise too!

How about everyone else!
 
Good morning ladies!! The :tea: is hot, pull up a chair and grab a cup!!

I'm off to work this morning, working 8am - 2ish and then back again at 5. I'm excited though because I have tomorrow off!! :) WOOT!!!

Plans for the weekend .... while I'm at work today, Peter and the girls are going to work on cleaning up the house ... cause it's in BAD shape, and then tonight we are going to have a fire with the girls. Tomorrow, we are planning on taking the girls to the beach for the day and then soccer practice tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to the day at the beach, I love watching the girls play and it normally gives me a chance to just sit and read!! :) Uh oh that means I have to get a new book!! :)

Ladies ... the gallery is full of greatness already this morning .... it amazes me everyday what happens in the gallery while I sleep!! :)
 
Good morning ladies! Couldn't sleep here either. Had the alarm set for 6:30...need to get to soccer. But I woke up at 4:30. ugh...

So I left some love in the gallery...and I did some posting in the forums...and I scrapped a layout. Now, I'm off to get a cup of coffee and begin the craziness.

Linda, hope that you find something fun to do with your day.

Laurie, your weekend sounds great. I think that I may do a little bit of hot tubbing myself tonight.

Krista, hope the work goes fast and the beach is lovely!
 
Ladies -- I look AHHH-MAZING this morning! My hair is still in the messy ponytail I went to bed in (too hot to leave my hair as I should)... I'm wearing one of the hub's old t-shirts & his Call of Duty boxers. There's day-old eye liner plastered around my eyes, and boogers building a homestead in my nose.

Even the hubs admitted that I looked like a train wreck this morning!!! I got zero sleep because I have a hard time breathing with all the fires in our air. So, I'm doing laundry right now & gonna clean up for the Girl's Night party tonight!
 
afternoon- weeding and working on my tan- I've got a little hitch in my giddyup (yes i did say that) I get them occasionally and a good long walk or good nights sleep or time in the tub puts everything back in place. Certainly the extra pounds from vaca that need to come off yesterday couldn't be causing this. Then off to time with dancing friends for dinner, wine tasting and dancing! Ah- loving today!

Linda S- hope your day is going well and up early doesn't sneak up to get you later

Meg- hope the fires end soon and stay away- although I did see a layout in the descriptive morning look!
 
Today is ethan's birthday so we spent all day doing birthday stuff. It was a good day. I drug Andrea and her family away from her studies to come play with us this evening. It was a lot of fun. We thought about getting a pic for you guys but decided that a posed picture after pool time would be a bad idea. So no pics yet. But today was a good day.

We get our house net week. Super excited. Anyway, off to play with Ethan and addie. I'll chat soon.

Work was HORRIBLE today :( LOL!! It was a "slow-ish" day so that makes it a LONG day. BOOO!! But it's over .... 48 hours off now!! WOOT!! :) We had a fire with the girls tonight ;) It's always a chore that's for sure ... they spend most of their time fighting over the fire sticks (for marshmallows), and Keisha was WOUND up tighter than a top tonight, so there wasn't alot of serenity while watching the fire. She was being a goofball that's for sure ;) But she's a happy goof ball so we will take it ;)

I just finished scrappin' two pages CT work ... not viewable until September 1st ;) But OHHHH MYYYY the kit is super yummy by my love TaylorMade Designs ... watch for her guest spot at MScraps in September!! :) You will want this kit :)

Might do some more scrappin' now ... a wee gallery run or three :) heheheh :)
 
Good Morning.........

Finally got to sleep in a tad...7:30....That's GOOD for me!!

My day ended up being very FULL!! Mom called and asked if I would go with her to take her car to be checked. The guy who works on our cars lives way out in the country....he has his own garage at his house that he works on the weekends and nights.....then took her to the grocery store...dropped her off and met Sharon and Cameran for lunch and we decided to head over to Toys R Us so I could pick out something for Savannah for her upcoming FIRST birthday!! WOOHOO!!! So that is done now....But what an ordeal....trying to pick out something to suit a one year old is hard, because you want to get something educational, but something that will hold their interest....I have to laugh at myself, because I found out that they have come back out with WEEBLES!!!! I love weebles.....they made them alot bigger and they look like the Higgleytown Heroes!! HAHAHA!!! couldn't resist!! Bought the musical Weeble Treehouse for her (she really loves anything musical)....and a couple of other things (Sharon fussing the whole time "MOM...one thing is enough!!!".....told her she could not stop me...so back off! AHAHAHAHA!! Actually I was thinking of myself as well...because she needs something new here too)

After I got home I went through the birthday pics of Jaiden and posted them on Facebook and that was ALL the computer time I did yesterday....went back out for dinner and to Walmart to get groceries....I cleaned out a couple of the cabinets and put groceries away....and I hit the couch!!! C-man was with us and he curled up beside me while we watched movies and we both fell asleep around 10....

TODAY........................CLEAN THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hopefully some scrapping...but doubtful...too much to do here!!!
 
tomato sauce cooking to can a few quarts- church, breakfast on the deck-on to laundry bill pay and weeding Oh yeah and work work. the wine and dancing last night were fun- got to see people we hadn't seen in a month- great fun!
 
Making Jelly and then a new recipe for supper in the Crock Pot, the rest of the day will be spent with yard work and relaxing with my hubby! Life is good!! Nana Linda I hope you get some scrapping time in there somewhere!

Krista, hope the beach was fun. I would really like to have a fire ring in our backyard.

Nana Linda, love the toy shopping. I've always wanted the fun toys that were educational!

Clara, sounds like Ethan had a good birthday. That's hard right after you move so I'm glad it turned out well!
 
It's been a nice weekend...can't believe how fast they go. We had our first two soccer games this weekend. Sydney scored 2 goals in hers...the team scored 9 and the other team scored 14...but of course, we only know this because Daddy kept score in his head. At this age, there is no keeping score. Then Shaun played defense for his game. And his team won.

Last night, I went to my 35 year high school reunion. We had 75 in our graduating class and 5 are deceased...2 just this summer. There were about 15 of us that showed up. Very informal but kind of fun.

Today we went swimming at my folks and now Daddy is practicing soccer with them for a little while. Crazy schedule begins this week.
 
The beach was incredible today. I have never seen the water so clear and blue. It was a bit chilly in the water but once you were in for a bit it was gorgeous. We met some friends at the beach so it was truly a wonderful afternoon. I have tons of pictures to go through when I get home. Lol yes I'm posting from my iPhone I'm at soccer practice just hanging out and enjoying some much needed quiet time. The girls are all at home with Danielle just hanging out. The soccer season here is slowly winding down only another couple of weeks left. Then it's back to soccer school for the fall and winter. We are actually hoping to get danielle onto an indoor team for the winter as well.
 
Sounds like a lovely day Krista! The pool was cold today as well...until you were in for awhile. We are supposed to have a hot week so I think that we will get to enjoy one more week and will close it up on Labor Day.

Now, since it's so quiet here, I'm going to go spend a few minutes in the hot tub. And try to get myself prepared for the week ahead. :-)
