Happy Weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I was so happy to see the end of this week!!! Yesterday I was on my last thread!!!!

Poor Traci...wanted to have a night out last night and asked me to keep the kids....I was practically yelling no before she could finish the sentence!!!! I could not handle dealing with children for one more minute!!!

I intend to have a quiet weekend....I was hoping it would be nice today so I could send Mike off..but it's not....maybe tomorrow...he can't hunt tomorrow, but he can go down to his leased land to play if he will...OH I HOPE HE WILL...HAHAHA!! Nana needs some ALONE TIME!!!! But seriously, I will take the alone time with him....I have a new movie from netflix to watch tonight or tomorrow...and I intend on mixing up a couple of drinks and making a tray of finger foods...we are having a date at home tonight!!!! He doesn't know it yet...think he will agree? :mrgreen:

Oh...and of course there will be some scrapping in there too!!!

And......as much as I hate it....housework has to be a part of this weekend as well :Cry:


You know what I just thought of...CRAP....I have invited Sharon and Geoff to come over for dinner tonight!!!! OOOPS.. :pound: I just ruined my own plan!!!! They are coming so Geoff can size up the bathroom to get started soon on the remodel.....so I offered to cook....WHAT WAS I THINKING?????? Okay...revised plan....call Sharon and make it early..about 4....eat at 5...gone by 6......then the other plan falls into to place very nicely....I just have to make sure they don't "forget" any kids as they leave!!!!!! :mrgreen: Well...actually...my little man will not have any of that...if he gets over here, he will not want to leave. ...hhmmmm we shall see!!

Okay...It's almost 8...I have been up since 5...I have showered...had two cups of coffee and emptied the dishwasher....if I am good...all my housework will be done by 10 or 11....so I am going!!

Laurie....I hope your conference goes well!!! I need to get on the treadmill too...been off for YEARS!! :pound: I really am going to start riding my bike (stationary) as I need to lose 30 pounds that I have put on the last two years!!!!! I am sick of it!! Hope you get LOADS of scrapping done!

Suzy....Oh I need to hop off to your gallery and see these too fab pages!!! YAY on being in Meg's CT!!! I wish I had time to be with her too...I have so much on my plate (scrapping and real life) I just can't do anything else!!!!!

Meg....well it's not hot here either and we have had some SUPER DUPER thunderstorms the last few days!!! The kind that shake you right out of the bed!!!!!!!! UNREAL!!! It's like the middle of summer but not hot!! Unreal about the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your trip to the coast sounds awesome!!!!

good morning and happy Saturday! its cold here, but the sun is shining. i got to sleep late (7 am... I know, I'm a rebel...). I have to get rolling in a few. Got a houseful of kids coming right after lunch.

nana-- check all of your closets and under your bed... no kids left behind! Enjoy your date night!!!
 
good morning here for a second gonna be heading out the door soon....got a birthday party in omaha today....JOY....1.5 hour drive....YIPPIE.....im going in early tho so i dont have to just go to the party and turn around and come home....i gotta stop off at my cousins house (which is actually still my house so at least i get to log these hours/mileage down for tax purposes haha) gotta pick up some monies from her (rent stuff) then i'll probably go over to my moms haven't seen her in a while....ohh then i do need to stop off sometime at the store to pick up a birthay present LOL...that would be helpful! ugh...then i go to the party....and come home....joy joy....probably clean when i get home....then dh comes home tomorrow afternoon!
 
Morning everyone... I was MIA yesterday, a full day of work, then went to A&W to pick up a quick dinner. Not healthy I know, but sometimes you just need quick. Today is busy with shopping for groceries and getting gift wrap to wrap up a present for FIL's birthday tomorrow. Heading to the In-Laws with the rest of the family to celebrate his 77th birthday tomorrow. On to Future shop as hubby wants to look for a giftie for my birthday coming up soon. :dance: Then housework, hopefully some yard work and sometime or other I have to squeeze some CT work in there too. Oh I miss the days of being able to sit here for hours and just scrap!!

Nana Linda - Don't give in, you need your time without kiddies in the house for a couple of days!! Gary and I often have date night at home with a good movie, a couple of drinks and some kind of a snack, we love it!!

Chris - Hope your afternoon is full of great ideas for the fundraising! Hope you have a good turn out! Hope you managed some CT time yesterday, I am so far behind!!

Kristy - Sounds like your weekend is full! Hope you get everything done, and don't forget to get that birthday present LOL. Drive carefully and have a great time!

Super quick check in for me... my heart flutters are calmer, not as strong, but still happening. Boo. So no exercise today too :(

I need to hurry up and finish some stuff to get to my team that I promised to have done yesterday, opps! I got distracted by a few awesome things.
 
ugh home....was a long...but FUN! day!! kids had a blast and they are all tired!! im ready for bed myself LOL AND it was like 87 degrees today!! UGH I WAS BURNING UP!!! im so glad i left one window open in the house before i left cause OMG i wouldve been SOOOO hot in here
 
checking in- got to have dinner with my brother and his wife- got to see Pittsburgh in the daylight- amazing architecture here. not looking forward to the 4-5 hour drive home, but am looking forward to seeing my husband.
 
The sun is out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's suppose to be super nice today...Mike and I are headed out in a bit to enjoy the day....

Linda - you are so lucky to have the sun!! It's :rain: here again today, but I don't have to cook tonight so I'm happy!! Off to the In laws for birthday dinner. Hope you have a great day and enjoy the nice weather!!

My heart is mostly back to normal!!!! Turns out I was low on iron because I stopped having special K for several days... go figure! So, right after I post this I'm going to go work on my & clara's secret project and try to get as much done before Jeff wakes up in three hours!

I just posted in the designer's area at DST a call for a charity collab for support services for law enforcement officers :) My friend Manda is partnering with me on it, because she's also from a LEO family... so we've picked an organization that gives support to LEO families in a ton of different ways -- marriage counseling, camps & activities for kids, support groups for LEO spouses, scholarships, help when an officer is fallen, etc. I'm really excited to be getting this charity collab started, since Law Enforcement Week is coming up!!!
 
Hey girlies...sorry I've been soooo MIA...

My mom has a friend who has a condo about 3.5 hours down south from us and we spent the weekend down by the beach...yep, a little sand in between the toes (got a picture for you...), a little sunburn, a lot of snacky eating...it was heaven!! And I had 7 hours with my 16yo trapped in the car with me and we solved all the world's problems, talked all about teeny bopper issues (which was really issues momma has with teeny boppers!! LOL!!) etc, ... it was wonderful!! :)

so that's what's been happening in my world...Sorry I've been MIA this past week.
