Well...I am up....with coffee and thinking of sending DH out to get a biscuit from Bojangles!! YUM... or even better and too close to my house...KrispyKreme!!...yeah...a couple of dozen to share with you girls!!

Well....I managed to get the house cleaned yesterday....Cameran was a real trooper...he played and played all day while I cleaned....usually he doesn't let me do too much...that's okay, I love doing things with him....his mother got off work a little early and picked him up to go school supply shopping...I wasn't done with my work...so they went w/o me....I was only going because he wanted me to, but he said it was okay if I didn't go...because it might take longer at the store if I go too!! HE HATES SHOPPING!! for anything!!

He is so funny....I have to share this...yesterday morning...he wanted the TV on....and with me cleaning...I figured it would be on all day. He started out watching BEN 10 (totally a boy show...fighting aliens) and then we taped American Gladiators (that show where couples fight through obsticle courses against teh gladiators)..then wrestling....after that he wanted ICarly...his new favorite show!! (it's on disney and it's one of those tween shows) I laughed and asked him "how do we go from Ben 10 alien force, to american gladiators to wrestling to ICARLY??" He said "you know what would be so cool Nana?? if ICarly turned into an alien and wrestled".....OMG!! He cracks me up!!! I laughed til I had tears!!

Well...our weekend should be very quiet....no kids...I don't think...and we only have plans to go with friends to breakfast in the morning. We are going to the Peaks of Otter...that's a mountain about 45 minutes from here that people hike up with a wonderful resteraunt at the bottom..and a nature park. You can see the mountain from here...well a little ways down the road from here...it comes to a bent peak at the top.

Ok...I am getting more coffee and coming back to leave you girls some love!!

Andrea....YIKES!! a busy day....I know those WIC appts can be so tiring...Traci has WIC and she has to spend a bit of time there once per year I think....YAY for getting yourself enrolled in school!! YOu will do well I am sure!!

CLARA....woo hoo!!!! kid and DH free....Sweetie...drag out your fav music..glass of wine...a book...scrapping...whatever you want....MOVIES!! just don't worry about them and ENJOY yourself!!! and seriously...fav lunch grilled cheese and choc milk???? HAVE FUN!!

NEENEE....Awe...(((hugs))) for DD's boyfriend...how sad!! and YIKES about the nail and I would be crazy if construction was going on across the street from me!! I hate construction!!! Glad DD is getting used to the expander!!

It has just been so long!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to pop in and say hello whil; ei had a few minutes...(free time?? what is that???) My son is outside with my husband on the tractor mowing the lawn, so a few minutes of alone quiet time are all mine!!! UGH!!! savoring this moment!! We have been so busy, my husband has had some vaca time so weve been trying to get away here and there. My son is keeping us super busy!~!! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer,

What's wrong with grilled cheese and chocolate milk?? LOL!! I love it. I eat it with a fork so I get lots of middle pieces and it is sooooooo yummy. I could live on t hat if all the grease wouldn't make me sick after awhile and cause me to weigh 800 pounds. Love it!!

Hello ladies!!

Today is great. I am laying in bed watching Fool's Gold and playing on the computer. Life is good. Now, I can only miss my fam for so long, but 36 hours will be perfect. I will be getting both kiddos back on Monday and dh comes home tomorrow night.

Last night was a lot of fun. I knew I liked the Los Lonely Boys, but I didn't realize they were such amazing guitar players. It was awesome. I had a blast. It was a great birthday present, plus margaritas and dinner at the Spagetti Factory. Yummy!!

Well, I am off. Not sure for what quite yet, but it will be great I am sure. Have a great weekend everybody!!

LOL! I love a good buttery grilled cheese sandwich....but with choco milk? hmm ROFL, you aren't preggers are ya, that sounds like something someone would eat then like pickles and ice cream haha. I do love choco milk but only with something sweet. And why is it that all of the yummiest foods have to be so fattening...it should be the yucky stuff that would make us gain ;).

Good morning everyone! I am here, got back last night around dinner time, Ate some leftovers and watched a movie with Gary. Then collapsed. I am still trying to get moving/motivated, but the coffee isn't doing the trick just yet.

We did pretty good at the sale. My mom and I made over $200 (she gives her sale $$ to me, since it basically goes to the kids anyway LOL) and the kids made about $40 each, so they have some spending money for vacation.

The weather was perfect! kids, neighbors, parents and friend all made it a wonderful time.

Guess I should run- want to get in the shower and get some housework done, then scrap and work on the computer in the afternoon.
And then Gah!! I have to start getting ready for vacation! We are leaving either Tues afternoon or Wed morning, but either way- that isn't a lot of time!

I saw you were up most of the night...I was up before you went to bed...of course there is the three hour time difference....but I was laughing when I saw you on FB this morning!!!

That is sooooooooo not funny!! I would lose my mind if I were preggo. No! No! No! I like weird stuff like that. I think it is the saltyness of the sandwich with the sweet of the chocolate. I like to dip my french fries in my frosty at Wendy's too. Total yumminess...don't knock it before you try it. :)

I know...I couldn't believe I was up so late. I just couldn't get my page right. I hate it when that happens. It shouldn't have taken me that long but it took me hours, then I stayed up watching a weird Julia Stiles movies. That's what happens when no one is here to tell me to get to bed.

Today I am going to go and see Julie & Julia. I am excited to see it. I saw the previews and got pumped up to watch it after watching The Next Food Network Star. I love that show and am so glad my girl Melissa won. She's a stay at home mom that loves to cook and has a million great tips to make cooking easier. Awesome girl!!

Last night my sister called me in a panic. Apparently she rear ended somebody with Addie in the car. (They are both fine) I tell ya, this type of stuff only happens to her. Her foot somehow got caught under the brake pedal. She has a scratch and everything to prove it. She hit some older hippie guy in a VW bus. He had a hitch and that was what she hit. She stalled trying to get her foot out from under the break and hit him when she stalled. She immediately went into hysterics because she had Addie in the car. The guy who she hit was so sweet and told her to call his wife when she got home to help her calm down and gave her his friend's number to get her car fixed. He sounds like a real sweet guy. That was yesterday and today she is still in a panic about it. Addie's fine, she's fine and her car is fixable. She really beats herself up about this stuff. She was being wreckless or anything it was just something that happened, much easier to say for me since everyone if fine. It was just a little bump though, it wasn't like she totaled her car and everyone got out unscathed. That would be totally different. I'd be freaking out then.

Well, I am off...

Chris - I am glad you had a successful garage sale and made some money and hung out with friends and family. Sounds like a successful weekend to me.
 
Just stopping in to say hi to all of my O Friends. I haven't been feeling very chatty lately - things with work and home have been keeping me busy.

Hope you are all doing great and enjoying your weekends!! I got a pedi too so I am feeling nice an relaxed. :)

quick howdy from me... I just got home from my mom's today, took Will and Piper out for haircuts for that last get ready for school rush... now I'm trying to do some laundry and finish some design stuff so its a busy day! hope everyone had a great weekend!

Chris....I watch the news all the time....I probably shouldn't!!...but I saw this on the other day...I am just in total disgust of how her family can TOTALLY deny and try to blame others for her mistakes....First...EVERYONE has issues and has a breaking point...but if she was as messed up as they say...that family HAD to know there was a problem!!! Ok...enough ranting...it just hit home with me...children should be put above anything and everything...they are helpless and innocent and it is any adults repsonsibility to make sure they are SAFE!!!



Clara....I am so happy to hear that Addie and your sis are okay....your sis sounds like my Traci...she would have reacted exactly the same way and still been that way two days later!!! ((((HUGS)))) for you all!!! Have fun at your movie....and next time I see you on FB so late...I will chime in and tell you to "GET IN BED!!!!";)
 
Hey ladies. It's already Sunday evening...where did I lose my weekend?

Went shopping for school clothes again Friday night. We didn't need anything else really. But there were so many cute clothes and since Sydney is enjoying them now, I can't resist. ;-)

Saturday, Sydney had a private gymnastics lesson. Then later in the afternoon I got a call from Mrs. Chow. (For those who follow gymnastics at all, we are lucky enough to go to the gym owned by Shawn Johnson's Olympic coach.) She said that they think Sydney is ready to move up to TOPS. Usually, the youngest age they move girls to TOPS is age 6 and Syd's only 5 years 5 months. She's already the next to youngest in her TAG class. But, she's really rocking in class right now. So that's exciting.

Spent a couple of hours swimming yesterday afternoon and then by 6 year old niece came for a sleepover. We got Shaun's passport photo this afternoon and Sarah's getting hers tomorrow. Then we'll send off for passports and we'll be one step closer to Cozumel!! WOO HOO!!!

Clara, glad that Addie was ok. Your poor sister...I know that stressed her. And glad that you had a good night Friday night!

Chris, an extra $200 is nice. And I'm sure the kids will enjoy having a little extra spending money!

Sounds like the kids are really ready for school now Sandra. New shoes and haircuts...that equals ready in my book!
