Wow....typing that date...Aug is now half way done!!

I have seen where some of you have been talking about school has started back already...Our kiddos around here go back on the 24th...and that's when my little Cameran has his first day...Kindergarten....I must tell you Moms....It is heartbreaking, I know when your babies go to Kindergarten...and just so you know...it is when your little grandbabies go too...but geeeeezzz....MY GRANDBABY is going to school now...sounds like I am getting old!!

Well...plans for us this weekend....Jaiden's B-day party is today...Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed...she loves Mickey and Minnie!! I got the cake (I have a lady who had made my cakes for 15 years and they are so good) and she gets a little one just for her to dig into!! Tomorrow...we have several things on the agenda...just a busy day! That's about it for me!

I will come back after I fix some breakfast for some personals...:D

By the way...I was in the gallery a little bit last night...WOW I saw some pretty amazing pages!!! and so many new kits...I want them all!!!!
 
good morning... I'm exhausted... was up WAY too late... didn't get to bed until 2 a.m. and then the kids decided to get up at 7 UGH! I've got a lot of things going on, but I don't want to share yet as its not quite complete, but by the end of the weekend, I should be good to tell you! so that's the stuff I'm working on today... Gabe's in Indianapolis this weekend so it's just me and the kiddos... I have to do some laundry and housecleaning... the cleaning house has fallen by the wayside a bit since I started work... i just don't have the energy... but I HAVE to do some this weekend no matter what...

Okay... i gotta grab a bite to eat, I'm starving... have a happy Saturday everyone!

LindaS...so how was the appt?? Wow that's a long way to drive for an appt...around here you have to go far to good drs...no one here in this town is worthy!! It stinks!! I saw you are with us on Merkee's team...YAY!!!

Sara....too funny the block on the net is turned off!!...looks like you didn't get to take too much advantage though!

LindaP...If I were mowing as much as you do...it would be a mess!! It's good you have such a good MIL to spend time with!!

Clara...ooo...sounds like a great night with DH!! YAY for you two!! and I know it's sad to leave your group that you love, but when you feel called to bigger and better things...sometimes you have to give up some things...but you should feel proud!! You are doing a great thing!!

Hi Sally...sounds like you had a fabulous birthday and will continue on the weekend!!

Andrea....Yay for the new kitty...ITA with Clara...you are taking a healthy approach and getting on with things and that's wonderful!!

Hi all! The "gremlins", as Linda calls them, started back yesterday. So that's why I was too busy to play much. I still have a lot to do. But we had 100 kids move out of our building so things were much calmer, the schedule is really nice....we're not going to say that too out loud though, lest people think we are not busy enough. =)

Dawn - I too hope you are feeling better!
Linda S. - Hope your trip to Iowa City was good. That's where a chunk of Matt's family lives. I'm jealous of your trip. Matt decided we'd focus on going on a trip next year for our ten year anniversary.
Linda P. - They tightened up our filter last year pretty good, but then they installed a "teacher" wireless network, so it got a little better. I was still blocked from Facebook and the O though. =)
Clara - That filter set up is weird. DH said they must install it on the computer rather than the network. That seems like so much more work from the tech aspect. One of my friends quoted Marilyn Monroe the other day saying, "Sometimes good things fall apart so that better things can fall into place." That might be a way to look at your small group change. Hard, but good.
Miss Sally - Love you doll. Glad you had such a nice day.
Andrea - Hope you enjoy the ball of fluff. Sometimes it's nice to just have the comforting warm loving animal near you. I hope it helps in a small way. (Although I'm not sure I agree with Clara that cats are the best. hee hee...i'm really not a cat person.)

It's gray and rainy here, but I'm enjoying it. Good for cleaning and scrapping and not any pressure to go "play" somewhere. I just want to kick back and relax. =) Have a good day all!

Good morning Lovely-Os! It is beautiful here and not too hot although I can't really tell since I am one big hot flash LOL.

Andrea-Awesome about Gravy, cute name too! I love my cats and my rabbit...and my dog LOL. Cats are definitely the least work. I hope she will help fill the void while your DH is deployed.

Sara-too funny about the filter! We have an airtight one at work, the only things we can access are things we ask to have access to that have to do with our jobs...somehow I don't think the O would qualify LOL. Hmm...perhaps you could tell your employer you need the O to teach about digi-scrappin'?! haha! I hope your first few days of school aren't too hectic!

Sally-I hope you had a fantabulous b-day! You are eons behind me in age...well 2 yrs anyway LOL.

Clara-I haven't seen the Soloist yet, how was it? I'm trying to decide if I wanna go see the Timetraveler's Wife today with DD...not sure I am in the mood for sappy, sweet....we'll see. Maybe we'll go see GI Joe instead LOL. I am jealous of you getting to check the forums at work, that would be awesome but I doubt I'd get any work done, LOL.

Sandra-what are you up to, girl?! You can't leave a curious soul like me hanging...I'm gonna drive myself batty guessing hahaha! I hope you get a little rest in this weekend.

Good morning everyone. Happy Saturday. It is just me and the kiddos today. Dh has to work this weekend. He got called in last night and didn't come home. he had hoped to so either things didn't go easily or he got another study to do. It was kinda funny last night because he got a call and was calling the radio-pharmeceutical company to get his doses when his pager went off again. he thought the study was getting cancelled since the pages were so close together but it was another study. So he was gone for the night. Tonight hopefully he'll be off because he wants' us to go to a birthday party for his coworker. Fingers crossed it will work out.

No big plans this weekend though. I'd better hop off of here and make the kiddos some breakfast. I'll check back in later.

Good morning ladies!! Hope your weekend is going well!!

The b-day party was good...Jaiden was a little cranky from all those teeth she is cutting...but once her mommy put her in her little chair and gave her a piece of pizza to chew on...she was happy. I have some great shots..I will post on FB later....we had cake, and the lady always makes a small round one for the 1 yo bday parties...and YEAH..she knew exactly what she was suppose to do with it! So cute!! We did it at a park...one I had not been to before...it was soooo nice there...we had reserved the covered shelter...and there was a creek running right beside the shelter. It was scorching hot out and humid..but it was actually not that bad right where we were at. Except in Sharon's eyes...she was in a cranky mood...she is SOOO ready to have this baby!! Poor Geoff (her DH)...right now I don't think he can BREATHE right to suit her!!

Well..today we have a few errands and then we are riding to the country for a bit and then on the way back stopping off at some friends house for a little while....

COFFEE IS READY....come on and have a cup!!

I've been invited to be a designer at ScrapWow! As you know back last year 3Scrapateers almost closed but then it ended up being an ownership change. Nick Romer, who owns RAKScraps and 3Scrapateers, also has ScrapWow... this is not a traditional store site... you can check out the explanation HERE... there are no designer calls for this site... it's invitation only so I'm truly honored to be asked to join and be a part of it along with Amy Teets, Dianne Rigdon, Jan Hosford, DeDe Smith, Clara Wallace, Designs by Shelle, Di Hickman, and Julie Mead...

So that's my big news.... I've been re-working previews and setting up my store, although I don't have any products actually added yet... that's my goal for today - get product in the store... I'm sooo excited about it... only thing that dampens my spirit is the part where I have to clean house and stop working on getting my shop filled LOL!

That is so awesome Sandra. I used to be a scrapwow member but I let it lapse when I started doing some CT stuff. Congratulations. that is so awesome for you.

I didn't make it to the country today...I had a little problem pop up I had to attend to...so I sent DH on without me....

just as well...Ashalee put up her newest work (a collab with Nina http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=22943).

So I wanted to get some pages done for her...although Nina's girls already had been BUSY!! Woo Check out that gallery!!!

So some quiet time for me now...YAY....gonna go leave a little love and then I am going to read!!...I am about half way through "My Sister's Keeper"
