Good Morning ladies!!!

I woke up at 4 this morning and could not go back to sleep...probably because I could not stop thinking about needing to go to the grocery store!! LOL!! So I am leaving here in just a few minutes....

I have made coffee and muffins for everyone!!.......please enjoy!!

Is everyone ready to be very thankful for all of the blessings in their lives??? and Sally and Clara....we know you girlies are!! I am very thankful for you two telling us everyday how thankful you are!! I JUST LOVE YOU ALL!!! and I am thankful for you all!! I used to think that people were crazy to get on the internet and share about themselves to total strangers....but I have fast changed my mind after meeting all of you here!!!!

Well I am off to the grocery store and I will definately check in when I return....

(((HUGS))) to everyone!!!:p

you are one crazy lady! Off to the grocery store already? Altho- I would think that you would be even crazier if you went later. I wouldn't go shopping today if you paid for all of my groceries!

I am so so sooooo soooo sooooooooooooo thankful for all of you too! You have been by my side over the last months and years.... I can see that things are going to start turning for the better now. And I can't imagine I weould have ever been able to get here w/o all of my O-fam!

And you are all so right- just in time for Thanksgiving- I feel like a weight has been lifted and I can breathe!!!!
Today we are off to Scott's Lyme dr. If I could just figure out how to best help him, (and get that official approval from Disability) I would be happy as a pig in poopy. :)

I don't have enough brain power at the moment to write personals. That Mack truck came to my house last night. Even though I slept good for the first time in months- I feel like it is going to take a few months to catch up.

I promise to be back in a bit!

Good morning ladies!

Chris, such good news! So, so glad that things are looking up! Great news yesterday! And you'll get things figured out with Scott, I just know it!

Linda W, I should be at the grocery store with you. I have today off of work but I have a 9 am workout, lunch at school with Syd at 10:50 and lunch with Shaun at 11:50. Then they have early out at 2. Don't know that I'll get much done!

Might go to the store after I get them ready for school...let Brian take them. That way I can finish shopping before my workout.

I'll be back. Need to slip in frequent posts to get my post count up! I've been a slacker the last two days.

Good Morning Ladies...

Today is a Grandparents Day at Nick's School I have spent the last two days baking for two classes and am thoroughly exhausted :) I can't wait to see it today though...should be a blast.

Thankful...just seems like it's not a big enough word to cover how grateful I am for my "O" family :) So I will just say I love ya all!!!

LindaW - Wooot woot!! Way to go - get to that store early! Smart!!

LindaS - ((hugs)) I am sooo inspired by your workouts!! All ready to DH after thanksgiving craziness is over - I am setting a goal!!

Chris - (((HUGS)))) I just read about your visit yesterday!!!! WOOOT WOOOOOT!!!! Sooooooo happy for you! That is fabulous news!!!

There is so much to catch up on from yesterday - I will stop back later today and do my personals :)

Have a fab day ladies!

Chris....I know there are many things to deal with, but this situation with Scott is going to work out just like the other stuff!!! I am glad you got some good sleep last night!!

LindaS...Woot!! Your day off is busier than working!!! Have a blast today!!! I hope you got to the grocery store before your work out!!

I went to the grocery store and was back home in just under and hour! WOOOT!!!!!!!!! The only people in there were the vendors stocking the shelves....they made it easy....every aisle someone would ask me what I was looking for and then just get it for me!!! and there was nobody in line when I checked out....I may go to the grocery store like this more often!!!

Kat...we must have hit the button at the same time!!!

Have fun at the school today!! sounds like you have been working your "buns" off the last two days!!!! I bet it will be fabulous!!!:p

Hahahahaha we did!!!

I am sure it will be super cute!! We have to be there at 12:15pm (It's now 10:45am est) then the Grandparents arrive at 1pm :) It's lasts until 2:15pm.

After that I get to come home and bake again *LOL* I need to make the dessert for our Thanksgiving Dinner. Was going to make apple pie....but I think I just might make a Jewish apple cake since I am in baking shell shock.

Finally popping in today - it's been crazy with the kids home today. So far I've cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more. I also baked my very first carrot cake from scratch. It's for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow at which time we'll be celebrating my dad's birthday as well and that's his favorite cake. I'm just happy we're not having pumpkin pie (yuck!). :)

I still need to clean out the van and get all of our things packed so we can leave in the morning. Then it's off to my parents' for our first meal and to drop off the dog, then a 4-hour drive to MIL's for our second meal. Friday we're helping unload a moving truck and moving MIL into her new place before driving back home. I'm exhausted just thinking about the next 48 hours. Did I mention it's going to be 37 degrees and raining where we'll be unloading the moving truck and there's no power or water turned on yet? :(

Oh Jaime...it sounds like you have a crazy weekend ahead.

Kat, Grandparents' Day sounds fun. I know that your folks are going to love it. (You will too.)

Linda, that sounds like my kind of grocery shopping. I got there between lunch and picking up kids so it was a little busier...but not bad compared to weekends when I usually go.

Had a great time with the kids at school. Before I left, Shaun even grabbed me for a big hug. In front of everyone. Where he initiated it. Made for a very happy mommy!

Now I'm going to do a quick gallery run and then back to the kitchen!

Hello!! It's late for me today, but I'm here to say Happy almost Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving. I've decided it is one of my favorite holidays. No stress about gifts, just good old quality time with the family and yummy food. How can you not love it?? I am taking Friday off of work too. It should be great.

Tonight we are supposed to hang out with the neighbors to celebrate a 50th birthday party but I guess it has been downgraded to just cake. Kinda lame, but what do you do. The husband of the lady turning 50 doesn't want to spend any money and my neighbor doesn't have any since she's raising her grandkids. So, what do you do? I'll show up for cake. It actually works out better for me because then I have more time to get things ready for tomorrow. Whoohoo!!

So...some love for ya...

Chris - where's that Mack truck? I'll slash its tires for you. I'm glad you got some sleep. It sucks when you sleep that well when you haven't in a long time though because you sleep too hard and so your body is sore when you wake up. I am glad things are starting to fall into place and I have faith that things with Scott will also. How are things going with the tutor? Enjoy rolling in your poop when the disability clears.

LindaW - 6:00AM?? You are crazy, but very impressive. I wish I had your motivation. There is nothing that would get me out of bed at 4:00AM. When I was at basic training the fire alarm went off one time and it was not the first time it had happened and somebody was trying to get me to get out of bed and I told them that if there was really a fire I was ready to die in it. I do not wake up well and i sleep hard. YOu haven't told us about your camera. Oh, and we are grateful for you. I can't believe you haven't always been here at the O. Crazy.

LindaS - sounds like you had fun at the school with the kids. I hope you are able to get everything done today. Good luck with that. That is so cool about Shaun. Random love from the kids when they do it is the best.

Kat - Awwwww...grandparents day. That brings back such wonderful memories. I totally forgot about it. We used to loan out our grandparents so that our friends could participate too. Oh man I miss mine. they were the bestest. I hope my kids get to do all that cool grandparents day stuff. My grandparents that I grew up with were actually my great-grandparents (they were very young for grandparents having had all their kids by the time my grandma was 19). I hope they all had a great time.

Jaime - I hope your days off got you the rest you needed before the craziness that is about to happen. I hope you get some down time before going back to work.

To everyone else...HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

If you are not from the US that is okay...Thanksgiving is just a day to be thankful and give thanks, we just get the day off to do it.

LOL Clara, I love your description of Thanksgiving Day. Perfect! And I am sure glad that they give us the day off so I can really concentrate on being thankful. ;-)

AAAHHHH!!! Jaime...CRAZY BUSY weekend!! I hope you get to enjoy some of it!!! But you do get to come home to a clean house!! YAY!!! I LOVE THAT!!!

LindaS...Awe...give Shaun a high five from Nana LindaW for hugging Mom in front of everyone!!! That was sweet!!!

Clara...I am with LindaS....your description of Thanksgiving is awesome!!! I was just like you when I was YOUNGER about the sleep thing...you had to blow the house up to get me up!! But I had been stressing about the grocery store for two days!!! So it was heavy on my mind...woke me up and I just had to go!!! As for my camera...I have not had time to play yet!! Those babies have been keeping me BUSY!! and I was too exhausted last night to fool with it...another sign of getting old!! LOL!! But I promise by Sunday, you will have some reviews from me!!

Hey everybody! I'm exhausted! Miss Genevieve wouldn't sleep till almost 2 last night, so I went to sleep right before Linda W woke up! Yikes! Spent all day getting things ready for our group Thanksgiving tomorrow. I made Greenbean casserole for 30! Also, two loaves of whole wheat Challah bread and some delicious bon bon cookies. Atha helped, you'll see her chocolate face in a layout very soon.

I'm tired but happy. Enjoying a glass of vanilla vodka and pomegranite 7-up. Yummy! I'm sure it will put me right out, though, having slept only a little bit last night.

As I was lying in bed waiting for Gen to sleep last night, I was thinking about being thankful, and I impulse texted my son to thank him for always believing in me. We've been through so much as mother and son, and I'm just so grateful for my boy! Can't wait to see him at Christmas.

God is good! Thanks everybody for being my Ofam! Have fabulous turkey days, my American friends, and everybody else, just know I'm thankful for ya!

xoxoxox

Andrea....I hope you get more sleep tonight!!! and if not...call me...LOL...I will be up early I am sure of it!!! Sounds like a great get together tomorrow and I hope you enjoy!!! Can't wait to see that Choco Face Layout!!!! and fabulous that you just texted your son and thanked him!!! WARMS MY HEART!!!!:D
