GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's going to be 91 degrees today!! Can you believe it?? I can't!!

I am sorry I have not been around much the last week...just so many things going on...and will probably be a little MIA for the rest of the week with Cameran on Spring break and DH home on Vacay too!! But I am checking in once or twice a day to see what's going on.

This is our YARD WORK week....usually it's in May, but Mike did his vacations a bit different this time...and won't be off again until June...so we need to get things done this week...we are working on our sidewalk today...yesterday was mulch and dug up some bushes and replanted in different places....and before the week is over I will have some annuals planted all over...getting some color going!!:D

good morning- I am off to the supermarket in a couple of minutes- then working from home. My MIL needs her website done by Saturday- agh!

We are having gorgeous weather here too.
Not that hot- but upper 70's! Sweet!
 
morning ladies!

had physio this morning. she says I'm progressing quite nicely although I'll probably have to do sort of kegals forever :( and the 'skin' will probably always be the way it is. Man, I'm too young for this :( Anyway... she said a few times now that I'm coming along nicely and things should be 'back to normal' fairly quickly. although I'm still with no jumping jacks & contact at TKD at least I can still go!
 
Evening everyone- sunny and 81 here- just got home from work, the wind is picking up, but I am going to go mow lawn and enjoy the sun going down!
 
hey ladies. This is try #3 to post today. I just keep getting side tracked. tonight is date night with Ethan. Yesterday was "a strangle your child before work" day so I thought a date night would be good for us both. :) We're going to see the Miley Cyrus movie that is out because he just LOVES her and I promised him we'd see the movie. Of course when I mentioned it to DH he started going on and on about how he wanted to take Ethan to see the dragon movie. But I won. So, after work I'll get him and then we'll get some food and then off to see the movie. I am so glad it isn't a 3d movie. the prices of the IMAX 3-d movies is ridiculous. No matinee or military rates apply and it is ridiculous to pay almost $15 a person to see a stupid movie...yet we paid that for Alice and Wonderland anyway.

So, we're still trying to get everything figured out for our move. The big stressor now is the house. We're going to rent it out but we'll be losing money each month on it, which doesn't thrill me. The negative of using a VA loan is that you put nothing down so the mortgage is higher than you can get for rent. Maybe we'll be able to refinance or something so it costs less. Who knows. We need to figure out something since we can't sell it. Lots of work to do.

Anyway, I just wanted to hop in and say hi!! I'll chat again soon.
 
hey girlies...popping in really late tonight...

Cora actually got sunburned today planting flowers at my mom's for her service hours!! Sunburned!! can you believe??? The girls were so excited that it was hot...they jumped in the pool!! (it was 76 degrees!! yikes!! brrrrrrrrrr!!!) and of course, they warmed up in the hot tub...nice!!!

This week is a short one for us. Quentin's Regional meet that he qualified for two weekends ago is this Friday in New Orleans. So we are sending him with his coach and then we go early in the morning Friday...crazy, crazy...it's supposed to be around a 6 hour drive. But as we've spoken about before, for Texas drivers, 6 hours is really nothing...Hopefully my girlies think the same way!! teeheeee!!

We are staying over night in New Orleans on Friday night so we can go to Cafe du Monde for Saturday beignets and coffee!! sooo fun!! It'll be a weekend full of pics, just like last weekend!! (check out my blog for last weekend pics!!)

OHhhh and I have to scream out loud cause I did something tonight that I've never done in 40 years of life...I FRIED food myself!!! LOL!!! ahahahhaahhahah!! I know it doesn't sound healthy, BUT it was soooo amazing!!! I made the Pioneer Woman's Chicken Fried Steak and gravy!! gravy!! wow!! I was sooo impressed with myself...and Mr Gorgeous...he told the band tonight that he was IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN!!! :) yes, girlies, it's true, the way to a man's heart really is through his stomach!!
