Good Morning!
WOW! Am I the FIRST in here today?!
Quick in and out. Heading to COSTCO with Ilene in a little bit. But first we will do lunch at Olive Garden.
I just remembered that I need to make an appt. to get my Jared to clean my engagement ring this month, which is by COSTCO. Just means another trip for a chance to fill the freezer!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Plenty of sunshine here.....and heat and humidity!

Good morning all! Thanks for doing the opening @vickyday. One more day of building living room furniture for Sydney. I'm sure glad we got it when she was home. I've got pictures that will go into a layout soon.

I hope that @faerywings didn't run into any of the flooding that was (is) occurring.

Didn't see any birds this morning. But I had to be at work early for a meeting. And trying to make up some time because I have an eye doctor appointment this afternoon.

@Cherylndesigns just think...the end of the month and you won't need to keep track of Tampa temps because your whole family will be nearby. I looked at our temp at 1:30 yesterday. It's only 89 but the heat index is 116. The humidity is 71% and the UV Index is 11 which is extreme. I am so over this weather...but I figure I've got a good 6 weeks of it consistently miserable. Oh well, I'll appreciate it in the winter.

@tanteva oh my goodness...that BP had gone really high. So very glad to hear that you figured it out. I'm sure that you felt awful.

@bcgal00 I wish we lived close by too. How was book club? What's the next book?

Good morning my lOvlies,
It sure is quiet in here .......................HELLO - I can hear my echo. :rotfl:Vicky @vickyday, have fun at Olive Garden and Costco. For some reason, I thought you were going yesterday. Enjoy filling your freezer.

Linda @LSlycord Yes, my whole family will soon be out here, and I can't wait. Sorry it's so hot and miserable there - I DO remember, that's a heat you never get used to. It's the heat index and humidity that always got to me. The worst thing was having to go about your daily business outdoors in that heat. But, like you, we suffered through it for the awesome winters. Like I said in the weather post you started, in my next life, I'll be a Snowbird. Haha They're a PITB when you live there all year, but i would still be one. I will also own two homes - one somewhere with mild summers (Michigan is gorgeous in the summertime) and a home in S FL. :rotfl:

I can't believe it's Thursday already. I spent awhile up at the pool yesterday, then Alyssa came home with me and we had a great visit. She doesn't get to do that too often because she's so busy. It was nice to get some one-on-one time with her. We had a great big watermelon and she cut that up and cut the whole thing into bite sized pieces. She loves to cook and prep and even got the bug more because she works in a restaurant and loves to watch the meal prep. I sat at the bar and talked to her while she chopped. We have a beautiful big bowl of bite sized watermelon pieces in the fridge now. Yum Then Braden joned us - anyway, it was a lot of fun. We all had pizza later on. We have a local place that makes the best pizza.

I'd better get busy and sign off here. Hugs to everyone and HAGD.

Morning, all... Slept in again until 9:30AM. That seems to be my wake-up time lately. It was 102F yesterday afternoon here at my house so I was staying in. More of the same for the next week so will try to do errands in the mornings. Thank heavens for ceiling fans. The AC (set at 80) has been running as late as 11PM so the fans help keep the bedroom cool enough to sleep.

Just finished posting the LOs I did for Karen Schulz. Really enjoying her My Story series. And I need to look at this month's challenges.

I am will all of you wondering if Chris @faerywings is back home... hope they didn't get caught in the flooding.

@tanteva So sorry to hear about your high BP... but glad you realized what was going on and are now the right dosage.

@Cherylndesigns Oh, that watermelon sounds delicious. I may have to buy one soon... you got my mouth drooling! Glad you had a good visit with Alyssa.

@LSlycord I remember the high temps and high humidity when we lived in both Florida and Corpus Christi. Glad to be in a drier climate. Can't wait to see the photo of the new modular furniture.... and glad that Sydney is putting it together for you.

@vickyday Glad the freezer is ready to be filled! Enjoy your lunch out.

Time for me to get something to eat...HAGD

HHHHIIIIIIIIII! I'm here!
Just for a second to say hello- I was supposed to be back yesterday after lunch but my dad had a really, really bad vertigo episode and we couldn't leave him so we stayed one more night. I got back just in time to clean for my friend and then I had to pay bills.
Everyone is good, I'll catch up later or tomorrow :grouphugyay:

Hi Kay @BrightEyes good to see you in here, girl. You slept until 9:30????? And the world was still spinning???? That's REALY late for you. You must have needed it. Doesn't watermelon sound great? I'll bet you go and get you some - ours was seedless even better. I had such a good quality time with Alyssa! We don't get to do that very often.
