....Coffee...need coffee....haven't slept in 3 days *LOL*

I have put on a huge pot of coffee for everyone!!! We awoke to lots of snow all ready :) Wasn't supposed to start here until Noon - guess Mother nature didn't get the memo *LOL*

Have a fabulous day ladies....off to find our coffee machine!! Will come back later after caffeine works it's magic :)
 
Good Morning My lovely O's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to bed with it pouring snow and have awakened to it still pouring snow!!!!!!!!

WE ARE AT 16" right now.........I am not going anywhere for days!!!!!!!!!!

We are all safe and warm though!! For this I am very grateful!!!:D

Thanks for the coffee Kat.......I need it!!! I actually put on a huge pot myself........so plenty for everyone today!!!

Kat......if you need some more snow...you can have some of mine!!! :D


Well...my two guys are yelling for some breakfast!! I need to see what I can come up with this morning...Cameran says he doesn't care, just as long as he has bacon!!!

Linda, sorry to hear about all of that snow! Since we just had it, I know it's not much fun. Hopefully it was enough before Christmas that it doesn't mess up travel for anyone. (When you get that much snow, travel is redefined to "across the street".

Kat, hope that last night was uneventful! Hoping that Nick really turns the corner soon!
 
Am smelling the coffee....it's calling my name.....

LindaW....ohhhh bacon...yum!!! I want some too! Wow 16" - YIKES! Linda take a photo for us...so we can see what it looks like outside :) It's been a long time since we had a blizzard here to bring that kind of snow. I think I will keep the snow we are getting....we are only supposed to max at 10-12" if it hits us hard.

LindaS - Nick's night went very well. He only woke up once at about 3am...with a spasm coughing fit. So I had to get him up to do a neb treatment. hmmmm not a happy camper at that moment, but it worked like a charm and he went back to bed :) Still sleeping now :) Peacefully too! No hives - no labored breathing. I am so grateful right now I could dance....

Good morning ladies!

We've had a bit of snow here as well, but only a smattering. Of course the TV delivery people decide to make an early visit (7:30am with about a 15 minute warning) because of the weather, and since we didn't get to sleep until about 2-3am, we were none too thrilled.

And why did we stay up so blasted late? Well, because DH has the worst luck. He had that procedure earlier this week which reduced his pain and it kept away all week - until last night. He was going to a psych appointment and somebody rear-ended him, badly. The back and left side of his car, including his left rear tire, are going to all need replacing. So now he's in pain again and upset. So he was up, wondering what he did to deserve this, what he did wrong and everything else like that, getting down on himself. And I'm left picking up the emotional pieces - you don't deserve this, you did nothing wrong, bad things happen to good people, etc. So rough night. Wish I could join in on the coffee....

Sally - I hope you are enjoying having your Mr. Gorgeous home.

Chris - I have to wait on my mammo, but they are supposed to give me a call if there's an issue; otherwise I get a letter and everything's OK. But it was not fun - the fibro makes it more painful - the tech has fibro as well, so she suggested I get a digital mammo next time (she also said it would help with the fact that I have "dense" ta-tas).

Kat - Glad Nick is getting a little better. Hopefully he'll have a completely restful night soon....

Oh I am soo so sooooooooo happy to hear that Nick is improving. How scary for you!

Linda W- if it wasn't so darn snowy, I'd come to your house for b-fast!

Leslie- oh no :( I cannot even imagine how difficult that must be for your DH- physically and mentally. Please tell him he has a wacky Cheery-O who is thinking lots of good thoughts for him. And you too....

Okay my happiness was short lived :( Nick is refusing the antibiotic....there is a foot of snow on the ground and Ice.....the hospital is in the next state normally 20 minutes so taking him back to be admitted is not an option at this point. Why didn't they know yesterday what they do today - that most children refuse this med? They should have just admitted him and started the IV then. I am finally defeated....
 
Oh Kat!!!! I would call the dr...possibly you could mix this in something....

When they released Savannah from the hospital they gave her some really aweful anitbiotics and Sharon could not get it down her...she would throw it back up if she forced it....she called the dr and they let her mix it with a little of her formula...maybe the dr would let you mix it with something for him to drink....

If it gets to the worst....call the state police...they will help you get him to the hospital!!

LindaS....Thanks about the snow....we ended up with 18" before it stopped this morning but it has just started again....I am not sure if it's suppose to accumulate anymore or not...We shall see...and as for travel...well we have the one daughter (my step daughter) in TN...she is suppose to be coming Christmas night...but if it is delayed...well...we will just have deal...but I think by then it should all be okay!!

Kat...sweetie...I loved your dancer, but I know you aren't dancing now!! I just know it's all going to work out....Nick will get well before Christmas!! Oh thanks for the breakfast cooking smiley too!!!

Leslie......Oh my dear!!!!!!! (((((((HUGS)))))) for you and your DH!!! I am so sorry this has happened on top of all of the other problems he has!! We seem to say this a lot, but I know that he did not deserve this, but God doesn't give us more than we are suppose to handle...Just keep the faith, both of you!! and we are always here for you guys!!! I know this is rough on you too!!! Keep us updated on his condition!!!

Chris......Darn that snow!!!!!! It would have been great for you to come to breakfast!!!! I would love for any meal...or a whole bunch of them!!! You ever want to come to the mountains....I know a good place for you to stay ;)

Kelly........YOU CAN HAVE MINE!!!!!!!!!! I DON"T WANT IT!!!!!!!! the snow that it!! hehehehehe!!! I hope you don't get what we have...but I think our area is the hardest hit by this storm!!

Kat...if Nick won't take the med the doctor should be able to call in something else if there is something else that could work. You shouldn't have to be seen again for that. And if you can't get it call the state police or 911 for that matter. if you can't get him in they'll figure it out for you. or call your doctor's office and get them to come to you. good luck sweetie.
