nope not out shopping- windy and cold here- I will be off to work in a bit- it will be as fun as I make it. Then off to dance at 8 tonight for practice for our solo routine. I so thoroughly enjoyed yesterday - 7 of us- then 3 left and those left sat around the table and chatted and ate dessert- then 2 left and I scanned some old photos into facebook- since most of my siblings on are on facebook I thought I could get faster old photo details! Brrr- it is cold and windy right now with a high just above freezing. Winter coat day.
 
Good morning ladies!! It's so freaking COLD here this morning!! The wind wind wind is blowing blowing blowing. WOW .. it's INSANE ...it's 26F but feels like 14F ... wind is blowing 16MPH .... with wind gusts of 28 MPH :faint: Good thing my littlest peanut doesn't have to try to walk anywhere today ... she would FOR sure blow away!!!

We have our FIRST Snow Squall Watch of the Season
Snowsqualls with whiteouts expected today and tonight. The lake effect snow machine is about to kick into high gear. The heaviest snowsqualls may dump locally 15 to 25 cm of snow in 12 hours by this evening. The snow squalls will begin to affect the Grey - Bruce region and areas east of Georgian Bay early this morning then may drift southward into Simcoe county and parts of Huron - Perth tonight. Driving conditions will deteriorate quickly as the flurries and snowsqualls arrive. Motorists should be prepared for sudden whiteout conditions from bursts of heavy snow and local blowing snow..And adjust travel plans accordingly.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Didn't someone warn me about that Wii???? I WAS SO SORE LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!! :hurt: Between that Wii and all the standing and cooking and cleaning up...I am HURTIN'!!!!!

So who is doing the BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING?? NOT NOT NOT ME!!! I might look for a few deals online...but NO WAY NO WAY am I going out in that mess....I let Sharon and Traci suck me last year and went to Toys R Us at Midnight last year....MISTAKE!!!!!!

Well, my table was smaller than expected....Traci and the kids did not get to come for dinner:Cry:....Jaiden is sick now....and Jesse is STILL not completely over it. So she decided to not bring the bug to the whole family. Also, my SIL (not that I am crying over this one) did not come.

So WHO WANTS TO COME FOR LEFTOVERS??? My refridgerator is STUFFED FULL!!! and I fixed a huge bag for Traci to come by and pick up, and sent home with my brother and Sharon too.....

Sharon helped me clean up the kitchen until Savannah just could not stand herself anymore...she was soooooooooooooo tired!!! So they left and I finally got that kitchen finished around 8:00 ..... I fell on the couch after that!!! WOOOOOT...love the holiday...love being with the family...love doing the cooking....BUT THAT "SO TIRED I COULD DIE" feeling afterwards is aweful!!!! but I think my sore muscles from that Wii made it much worse for me:Cry: and talk about having freaky dreams!!!! I dreamed I was in some kind of prison camp and was going to be burned to death...AAAAACCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKk WTH????? That means I was really really tired!!! Okay...I am off to have coffee!!! It's all ready and I NEED NEEEEEEEEEEEED NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED A HUGE CUP!!!
 
Good morning ladies! It's cold here in central Iowa as well. However, no snow...so I'm good!

Laurie, sorry that you have to work today. I have 4 days off and I soooo need it! I'm glad that you had such a good Thanksgiving holiday!

Krista, that snow and cold sounds awful! Stay bundled up!

ME, are you still at your folks? Are they getting awfully anxious to have another grandbaby?

Nana Linda, sorry that you didn't have all of your family with you. I know that's hard. But glad that they didn't spread the bug. And Wii plus cooking Thanksgiving dinner...I'm sure that you must be sore. (I kind of hobbled down the stairs myself this morning. :-( )
 
Happy day after turkey day. TGIF! TGFC!

I don't do any Black Friday shopping here either. I don't even like to go to stores on weekends. Much nicer to go during the week, when it is a bit calmer. Even better when I can shop online in my pj's! I am really behind on the shopping- I don't even have lists or ideas are anything so far. I used to be 90% done by now. This year has thrown me for a loop.
This year is going to be the first year in about 15 or so that my brother and I are not going C-mas shopping together. But I did ask him yesterday if some day we could meet for lunch instead. he said that he liked that idea.

we did pretty ok at Thanksgiving. Better than I expected. My parents were able to come to my MIL's since Chuck and Kathy went to her brother's house for dinner and then came to us for dessert. I could see that at times, they were "ok" and others just barely holding it together. but I was so proud of them for doing that.
Gary's grandma was also with us- she has Alzheimer's but "in the moment" she is great. She has great spirits, stays involved. And she is funny! So it turned out to be a nice time.

Laurie- sounds like you had a very nice time too! Have fun at work and with dance.

ME- hope that you didn't have to drive back home in snow too. We has some wet snow, but nothing was sticking. Thank goodness for that!

Krista- please keep the snow up by you! Last year I broke 2 snow shovels by the end of the year, we had so much snow and ice. I still haven't replaced them- I guess I should soon! Stay snuggled in as much as you can!

nana linda!!! *gentle hugs* You need to get a heating pad and go back to bed! I am so sorry that you didn't have your whole family with you, but the last you and YMG need is to get sick as well. lol @ your wii experience- I forgot about that part. we did the same thing here. And of course, when you ar eplaying against kids, you thing "cool! I can keep up!" yeah...not so much the next day hahahaha!

Chris....Oh I know it must have been a hard day for your brother and SIL...still praying for them. But good for them for putting themselves out there and trying to get back to life. Sounds like you had a pretty good day sweetie!! I am glad!!! OH YES the PJ shopping is the way to go!!! AND FOR GOODNESS SAKES...GO GET A SHOVEL GIRL!! YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE STUCK WITHOUT ONE!!! and yes...while my poor achy body lays here today....the little buggers can pick up and keep on going!! BBBAAAHHHHH!!!!

Happy Friday everyone, hope that those celebrating Thanksgiving had their fill of turkey and all the goodies that go with it! I am off to work in a couple of hours, but want to spend some time here and get my new AVI up, I can't wait to see everyone's Christmas avi's

Laurie - too bad that you have to work today, but so glad that your supper went well and you got in such a nice visit with those you love.

Krista - My goodness you sound like the local weatherman!! LOL Welcome to my world of snow and shovelling, it was snowing all day yesterday, but the temp. warmed up and now it is melting a bit so the roads are at least clear yay!!

Chris - Glad things went better than expected with your brother and SIL, my heart breaks for them, but good on them for being so brave and holding it together for all of you!! Oh BTW buy a shovel would ya, before they are all gone!! LOL.

Nana Linda - I hear ya on the Wii.... I could hardly move my arms after playing many, many tennis games, love the tennis its so fun, but oh my poor arms are not 20 yrs. old anymore. Ouch!! Hope the advil kicks in today for you. The best thing to do is to get back on the Wii and do it again. Love your new AVI Santa Linda!!!

Linda S - Lucky you no snow yet, I see you have decorated your AVI too.
 
Chris -- I've been praying for your brother & SIL! I can't believe that this has happened to them twice. Our family has been all the way to the supreme court because of that.

Quick flyby for me, I'm still super sick. I woke up at 3am to get an amazing deal on hosting, but the server kept timing out and I lost out on it... so I went with my second choice, but I'm actually happier with the second choice. I'm going to start the moving process today for all of our sites -- ughhhhhhh, it's going to be a nightmare!

I'm actually doing much better, but now Jeff's not feeling good. I think he might of gotten sick from the food he had at work.

I've been battling my NEW host all day. When I signed up, I thought I was signing up for their "double" plan, but somehow I got signed up for their basic plan... which wont do. I'm fine with paying the upgrade price, but I'm not fine with how long it's taking them. Plus, they want me to pay $12 more than I should be, because they reduced the price of the basic plan after I ordered it... and they're charging me the difference between the two plans at the new prices. I should only be paying $24, but they're charging me $36. I've been talking back and forth with them via an email like system, but after we finish watching Red October, I'm going to call in.
I'm SO TICKED!! I need to move to my new host TODAY because my time with my current host is up today!
