I have been seeing lots of new faces here for our parTEA and I remember being new on forums and feeling a bit intimidated and out-numbered by the old-timers. Since I am now one of the "old-timers," I don't want any to ever be intimidated by me. I know, I can be scary, all 4'11" of me hahaha!!

So back to the Daily Ooo's-- Each day, someone starts the Daily Oooo's thread and it is just a place to meet up and say hi. You can share what scrap projects you have going on, or you can talk or vent about your day. Our goal of it is to make a place that feels like you are sitting in a friend's kitchen, sharing a cup of tea, coffee (wine? pick your poison!).

Some of us like to do "personals" where we will comment back on the previous days chatter. However, that is absolutely NOT required. This is a no-pressure, no-stress zone. We really love hearing from all of you.

And don't feel the need to keep up every day either! I'm on Spring Break right now and have had lots of time to keep up and post. But when school gets busy, I tend to be a little more sporadic. It really is just a nice place to stop and say hi!

That's right this is the best place to be every morning and we don't bite honest!! Well not hard anyway :becky: Its just a great place to grab a coffee and come and have a visit with all of us.

I'm happy to see a lot of familiar faces here and Chris.....sure is nice to see you again! You are absolutely right about feeling intimidated as a newbie and not knowing if you should join in on convos or not. When I joined yrs ago I didn't really connect, didn't fully embrace the digi and didn't feel like I knew anyone and so never joined in on conversations. Over the last couple of yrs I've been scrapping up a storm, meeting tons of new digi friends and have realized that jumping right in and connecting with everyone is the way to go!

I don't often comment but usually read at least some. Compared to most of you my life is so dull. And there is no way I can keep up with all the personals - but I really do care. Everyone is always so nice when I do post.

I hop into the dailies about every 6-8 weeks depending on my work schedule. I play when I'm in the OR at work.

Love the Daily Ooos. I read them for a long time and then recently decided to just jump on in and was welcomed sooo warmly. Don't worry about posting tons or even every day. Just share when you can.
