your Christmas cards? I hate to just throw them out, but I don't need a scrapbook of the several dozen cards we get each year. Some that have pictures I cut out and add to our family photo pile. But anyone have any other good ideas?

You can use them to make tags or gift cards for next years gifts, or if you have children, you can make them into origami boxes for next year, I did that with Sunday school once and the kids loved it. I have a sleigh full that I have put out in the past.

Oh...origami boxes...that's a cool idea! I'd go with tags, but apparently I have tag-itis and forget every year that I have tags. When I cleaned up this year, I had like four things of tags! =)

Sara....you could donate them too...a lot of Sunday School classes use them to let the young kids cut out and make their own cards with them...also...believe it or not...you can use a sticker to cover the names on the ones you can and envelope them up for next year to send to troops...I know a few people who do this...and you just sign a first name and then the places that call for cards to send to troops, you will have a whole box of them to send!! Some think it's lame (Clara's word..haha) to reuse...but those guys just want some mail from home and love them no matter what!!!

Hope those suggestions help!! :D

Sara - there is actually a name for my disease??? I am not alone in this tag problem I have?? *LOL* Not only did I forget that I had tags this year...I went out and bought more on clearance so I would have them for next year. Yet each year I never use them *sigh* We need to start a club...*LOL* "Tag Rememberance Group" or the TRG to be cute :)

I ended up giving mine to my older daughter (who is almost 3) to "write letters" on. She loves to write lists and letters; she liked that it was real stationery, not computer paper, and I liked that it wasn't from my pretty, and very expensive, stash.

Ha ha Kat!! My mom would have called it Tag Alzheimer's. She often said she had this disease in various forms. For example, she had Cream of Tartar Alzheimer's. And she would always say, "What do you use Cream of Tartar for? Like two recipes! But I keep buying it!" I was so tempted to buy tags on clearance, but I was good and said NO!

These are good ideas ladies! Ben loves to scribble too. I knew I would get some help here!! =)
