Covid at work

There are currently 4 colleagues infected with Covid.
Our colleagues are shocked, although we take many measures, we do not know whether people have been infected at work or outside.
For the time being, we are working even further, we have been wearing face masks from day 1, constantly washing hands, plexiglass everywhere, one-way traffic in the corridors, dressing rooms spread out, canteen we all sit alone at a table. In short, enough measures, fortunately our colleagues are not very sick, there is 1 pregnant woman.

O no, that is shocking. What kind of work do you do?
I have also been workiI ng from the beginning. No one did get sick with us. We don't wear face masks. We do keep distance, wash hands etc. and we sit further apart. Lots of my collegues work at home, but for me that wasn't really an option.
I hope you wil stay safe, and your sick collegueas will recover soon. Fingers crossed it wont spread any further.

I work in a packaging company, we package medicines, I am a worker not a servant.
Most servants work from home.

I work at a bailiffs office. Most of us work from home. But my husband had to work at home, and my daughter follows online courses from the university. We don't have an extra spare room, and both are in the living room. I spent a lot of my time on the phone, which wouldn't be nice for them. So I choose to go to the office.

That is shocking news, Vera! Is your area still seeing many cases overall? Is the government allowing people more freedom to move about than before? I hope you stay safe!

so scary Vera ... have you all been tested meanwhile? and should you continue working? your husband is a risk patient after all ... in that case you should not stay at home until you are sure that it is safe at work ...

Oh no, Vera, that is scary. I agree with Marijke, be very careful for your husband's sake too. I know you are, but still! It sounds like your company is taking all of the right measures yet obviously nothing is 100%.
You too Jeanette, be safe!

Stay safe Vera,
Can you get tested? Here you can get tested if you have symptoms.

I went to talk to the director, but he says (and I believe him too) that a lot of safety measures are taken.
And yes I am afraid, and so is my husband. But you're at risk everywhere, and honestly I think you're more at risk outdoors because you don't know if everyone is following the rules.
From next week we will also be tested for fever before we enter the company, but I will call the doctor and the MS clinic where my husband is followed anyway.
Now I'm going to see if I get tested. There are now 2 people who have been tested, but we do not know the result. The government sets rules, and it says that we can continue to work.
I would find it safer if the company closed 2wk (we are no longer far from the big leave, I think another 4wk and then we will close anyway.) But if we come back there is still a chance that someone newly infected.

I am so sorry, Vera! I hope you and your husband continue to stay negative from the virus. I hope your work mates improve quickly and have only mild cases. Keep us posted.

Oh it's scary. Take care of you and your family.
If possible make a test as soon as you can.
I am still working at home for the moment and I 'm in no hurry to get back to the office.
The children are still at home too.
