Just watching the news. Looks terrible. They say 6 million are without elektricity. I wonder what it would have been like if Sandy still had been a hurricane and not "just a storm". Hope every O's are fine.

hope everything's good with you, Chris!! where was that dam that broke in Jersey??? i'm betting you have no power. it rained like mad here, (still is raining...) and the wind blew scarily at various times, but we never lost power. i think it's done here except for more rain. it could be worse for us. a few hours south of here they've got more than a foot of SNOW!!! :scared:

I text Chris last night around 7 pm....she had just lost power, but everything is okay!! I will text her again this morning...

We still have power!!! Winds blew all night at about 70 mph....we have freezing rain....the winds are at about 50 mph right now....and will calm as the day goes on...there are a lot without power around here though. WE ARE FREAKING 500 miles from the center of that storm!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S WILD!!!!!!!!!!!! and it's causing the moutains...just an hour and half from here to snow....expecting 34"!!!!!!!!!!!! IS THAT CRAZY????????? I feel sorry for those people too....no one is used that around here!! I am going to see what kind of damage was done around here last night....


I hope everyone else that is closer to, or in the center of this thing is okay!!!!

I posted on FB too. Southern NC had the weather affected...a little rain, some wind and a dip in temperature but no extreme weather. We don't have cable so I haven't been able to watch the news. I hope everyone is okay. I saw Chris post on FB that things were okay last night. Hope to hear something today.

Just got a text from Chris...she said they are fine...no damage except tree branches down....she was in her car trying to charge her phone!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
