I love cats, really I do. But WHY do they always have to lay down on the wrong places????:mad2:

I have sown salades seeds and pepper seeds etc and they are all just starting to grow, and now the cats thinks this is such a nice place to sleep! Why???

Probably likes the warmth of the sun soaked soil! Yes they always sit where they are not wanted! I love cats too!!

Hehe, because cats are tricky little rascals! Believe me dogs are worse with their digging of holes!
By the way your veggie garden is so pretty! I start to consider lifted bedding or container gardening, I'm not sure how you call it on english, sorry! Because here we just put it at ground and is much easy for pet's digging and difficult for weeding.

O yes, our dog also digs large holes. I hate it when he does that!!

I've started to sow my veggies in that grey bin, which is actually the bottom of the cage we used for our guinea pigs. Now the seeds start to grow I have to move them so they have more room. My son made me two vegetable garden containers from wood. You can buy them complete, but then they are really expensive. It's much easier to make them yourself.

This is one my son made for me.

The photo's below are to show you what you can do with them

This is the first year I do this. I plan to add a bit each year. Not only with veggies, but also with flowers. I think it looks so beautiful. And you can make them in any shape you want, you can also make them high, by adding wooden legs under them.

You are lucky the cat is just sleeping their, most cats in my garden leave a surprise!

That looks great, hope your veggies grow from all the rain last night!

:scared: Hahaha!!!

My cat has to be either on my lap-- not sitting, but circling around on me- or in my laundry basket as I fold clothes from the dryer.
They are such pains in the butt sometimes. Good thing they are cute!

Jeannette, thank you so much for sharing your photos!
This with the little princess is exactly what I need! I want border between my grass and veggies. The stones flooring is not for me, although it's looks pretty and easy for care they also looks like cat litter and I'm afraid my cats will use it exactly for that. :tsk:
I would love to see your future projects too! Oh and admiration to your son, so beautiful made containers! :clap2:
